The tree that was hiding the cache has been cut down to ground level and along with the tree the cache has also gone. Time to say goodbye.
Hard to believe I DNF this 5 years ago and I still can't find it. If it was in a tree, it may be missing as a nearby tree has been cut to ground level. I will try again one day
A beautiful, sunny day to catch a train down south with my bike to grab some southern caches.
After a bit of digging around I fished this cache out. The logbook had seen better days so I replaced it with a new one.

Couldn’t sign it. Paper absolute mush.
According to a local who was walking his dog as I was looking at the rock, there used to be a plaque on it as it was the location of a local school. Plaque kept getting ripped off so now only the rock remains.
Thanks

After a brunch event in Prospect and visiting family in the northeastern suburbs, I’ve headed south to Onkaparinga, where I still have many hides to find. This is one of ten caches found down that way today.
Arriving here I was struck by the big brown glossy rock. I hadn’t read the description fully, and now realise that this is the green rock that we are here for, only with an updated coat. Did you ever solve the mystery JJ52? You could get creative here and make this an Earthcache!
Log also a bit damp here; hopefully a run of dry weather will fix that. Thanks again JJ52.

I've looked for it last month and the month before my sister, I and one of her friends went looking this after noon and found it we never thought to look in the trees just saying it's very wet because someone didn't close it and you mgiht need to put a new paper in it tftc
Found the "Green Rock" only it's not green anymore and found the cache near by tftc.
After a few laps and a few looks up and down I finally found the nicely hidden cache
This morning with the CITO in the area, I got up early to head around the area to find a few caches yet to be found.
Total of 13 caches found
Thanks for the cache

It appears that this one has gone missing. Have replaced in the same hide hidden by natural camo. All good to go again.
Easy find thanks
Thank you for maintaining and placing this cache!
We really appreciate your effort!

Finally found the time to get down south for some caching on the NEW bike. After 2 rides finished the day with 24 finds and 4 DNFs
Have a feeling that the rock has been painted a more realistic colour since publication.
Thanks JJ52 for putting this cache here

Planned a day of caching with my friends Gral4 and damonnicp today and we had a great day with a variety of caches and lots of little walks. It's been too long since we did this.
We made a quick find here at the strange rock. Wonder why this rock is here!

"Chameleon Rock" could be another cache name lol.
If it was green it is now brown I bet it was another color other than those two at one stage
Today, Saturday the 29th of August 2020, i had a poke around in the spots a bit too east so i concentrated on the natural object that was 'Adjacent' and came up trumps [^]
SL at 12:39.
The cache and contents are all good and dry [^]

Spotted the lid poking up as I approached, the girls however were not quite as height advantaged.

At first I couldn’t find it but eventually with a bit of hard looking, I did.
Transformed another bluey into a smiley on my way home from an appointment tftc!!
With work finishing at lunchtime today, I wondered how to spend my afternoon. There were a fair few geocaches down south that I had wanted to do on my bike, so decided to drive down, and ride the Coast to Vines Rail Trail from Morphett Vale to Hackham. Then towards Huntfield Heights and to the sound of Christmas carols, it was then back riding along Golden Wattle Way Trail, and finishing off where I started. I'm not a big fan of suburbian caches and driving around stopping/starting, but cycling + geocaching was a lot of fun, and very enjoyable. A nice temperature sunny afternoon to be riding around also.
I was on my way back towards the car, and now the phone's battery was looking a little worse for wear. I proceeded along the Golden Wattle Way Trail, and made a stop at this location. I enjoyed the painted bridge, but apologies but I cannot offer any information on the green rock. The cache container and logbook were in good shape. Thanks [@JJ52](http://coord.info/PR7ZQX5) for the cache placement and ongoing maintenance.

After picking up our Trees for Life supplies nearby, we took the geo-pup for a walk. Nice quiet morning to grab a few caches.
The rock seems to be brown now!

The cache has gone since I last checked it. The cache hasn't been in the hole filled with water for a very long time.
I have replaced the cache UP HIGH covered with some natural camo.
All good to go again.

We spent about 10 minutes exploring the very wet hole and possible hide locations above and found nothing - not even a soggy logbook. So sadly, a DNF for us today. Thanks anyway JJ52.
Out today completing some cache maintenance, and came to check this one. It is still in place waiting to be found.
Reach up.

Sadly the rock is a mucky browny green colour now and I couldn't hunt down the sneaky hide
Has another hunt here this one still remains elusive to me. I guess I will be back!! TFTH JJ52
Had another look in a completely different spot found 2 containers. Checked with CO and logged correct container secondary container removed TFTC JJ52 good to remove another blue frown and replace with a smiley.
Finally found it!! (with the help of BokBok9). Have searched here several times with no luck. I'm sure i looked there before obviously just not well enough. Geokids enjoyed swapping treasure. Thanks for the sneaky hide.
Favourite point for making me come here 3 times.

Marvin had a dnf on this one and it has been burning a hole in her pocket so we came on a walk with our mini cachers today to track the elusive cache down. Took a while and were getting a bit frustrated.... and then the chicken located it. There are actually two together. One with the log and one with toys. Tftc and the adventure:-)
I am going to say I found it as found container with little gifts in but no log. Bigger than last micro but in right place.
Additional note. I did find the log in separate micro container on extra look. TFTC
After attending a southern event, with earthlight, it was time to locate geocaches... still hunting Hidden Creatures souvenirs
Now this one was well hidden and so we used the PAF option. I thought I had searched there but obviously not properly.
More art work this side too

After quite a search linda located the cache at a different elevation to what we thought it would be. This is a lovely area to walk. TFTC
