Before being joined by all of Davinells, Snickersallan & E_Smiley for a couple of nights at Queen Mary Falls I got to spend the day in Warwick hunting the new caches, a couple of archived caches and anything else that I stepped over (read: made a huge detour to find)…
After a lovely catch-up with Dunmowin in town, I decided to head South and cache until the others made it to Warwick….
I thought I’d have a quick look for this archived cache… considering everyone says this was a quick easy find, I looked in the obvious places but failed to find it…
With limited info I didn’t invest a lot of time here…

This morning we started caching at the junction of the Newell Highway and Pikedale Road and during the day, we gradually worked our way south into Palgrave Road, Loloma Road and Mount Janet Road. We started at about 8:45am and finished the caches on our list as the sun set. We enjoyed the variety of caches and the scenery along the way.
Accurate coordinates led to a quick find. The log has been very wet but we did find a small part to sign. Some TLC is needed. Thanks the cache maker for the cache and others you have placed in the area.

Found whilst enjoying a four day holiday in Killarney. Camping with The X-Trailers. We all had a great time locating over 70 caches for the day. TFTC
Yeehaw, time to get out on the dirt roads of Stanthorpe and pick up some caches. We have had our eyes on this power trail for some time and today is the day. Lots of long grass trodden through, boulders climbed, stabbed by sticks, slips and slides all the geo-caching fun
Along the way we managed to pick up a few letters we needed for animal names for another challenge cache we are trying to complete.
Thanks for all the caches out here on the dirt roads of Stanthorpe.

Quick find while in area on holidays. Unable to sign log as too wet so added and signed a new sheet.
Thanks the cache maker.
Thanks the cache maker.
With a milestone coming up, I decided to go roadtrippin' down to the Granite Belt and Tenterfield to pick up a swag of smilies I missed while visiting for the Mega last year. Left Brisbane at 0330 and after 15 hrs on the road driving 650kms, managed to find precisely 100 caches .
Hopped out of the car and bounced over for a quick find!
This cache is in good condition, thanks **the cache maker (maintenance helped by 2 Shadows)** for showing us this spot. Discover our code TGQNRV, and mention where you saw it.

Tftc. This is a late log. Went on a caching trip back on August 28/29 2016. Did over 350 caches over the weekend and only managed to log the rest of it now. The girls took me out for a bday weekend caching. Found with chasing adventures and Thehinds of the Triple threat crew
Day 2
A wonderful weekend away in Stanthorpe resulting in 374 finds, including 22 mystery (Stanthorpe Apple) and 1 Earthe cache. I hoped to log each individually as I usually would but the tyranny of time prevents me from continuing to try and achieve this goal. A big thank you to all the Stanthorpe CO's. We said many times we wish we had more consolidated trails in Brisbane. TFTC

Out with Cachemeifyoucam to run around the area and get as many caches as we can. Really good series, enjoyed all of the finds
1928 - This was the second cache I found on the start of this power trail on this windy and cool Public Holiday. What a good day to go for a power trail run. It looks as though I am going to be following the logs of kingfisherau all day. It appears that I was only 1.5 hours behind him when I logged this find. Thanks for the cache, the cache maker - your cache is in good condition.
2nd on this loop we are doing on this now drizzling day .
Signed logsheet 25/04/2016 11:55 am and replaced all as found.

Firstly, apologies for the generic logs through the power trail here.
A huge day of caching the area had me signing my first log at about 1:30am. Then 12 and a bit hours on the lower section of the powertrails before heading into town (via some others of course) for some well deserved dinner, a coldie and a bush shower to clear the dust off me. I felt brilliant surprisingly after a wash and some tucker, plus a quick count of my finds had me thinking maybe I should push on for a few more hours.
So here I am trying to round up a few more for an awesome day on the job. Along this stretch I also managed to click over to 2500 finds so far.
Appreciate the time and effort the CO's put into the hides out here for all of us to find.
Signed in as mm29 all day today to save a little time.
Thanx again to all.

Found with stairman1. The rain was starting to fall as we continued our journey. We have come across a few of these creatures out today. All good here. TFTC
Found by "J" as we spent a second afternoon finding some of the many caches nearby. Signed log. TNLN Thanks to all the cache owners who have taken their time to place so many caches in the area.
We set aside today to challenge ourselves to find at least 150 caches in a day. Before last Mega in Stanthorpe, we had cleared the middle section of the AS Series, so this challenge meant starting at the bottom, then later moving to the top section, then back down the highway towards Stanthorpe until our target was reached. Apologies for this generic log: unless noted below the caches were in good order and available for future hunters - in some cases this meant stopping awhile longer to replace a log, and/or clean out the cache.
Found at 4:16pm on 8th December, 2015. TFTC.

I had driven down from Brisbane for a quick day out caching. The idea to grab as many as I can along the power trails here. The day turned into a mission, with my GPS deciding to impersonate a brick, leaving me to use the phone, so lots of missed caches and backtracking. Great day out, lots of caches, sun, Kangaroos, sun, other flora, sun and more caches. Thanks for putting in the trail.
Smilie #2951
At a bit of a loose end so we decided a day just north of Stanthorpe, to clear a few caches we had no signal for on our last few trips south, was in order.
Apologies if some logs are a bit generic but we converted 95 to smilies today!
A nice quick park & grab here despite a passing muggle.
Signed & replaced as found.
2 of 95 today!

We apologise for the generic logs. We came to enjoy the sunshine and the Tara Festival and decided to find some of the Caches on these power trails. Thanks and well done to the cache maker.
We travelled down from brisbane to Tenterfield today to sign the log for the "Average Challenge". Not ones to let an opportunity go to waste, we spent the balance of the day finding some great caches in the Stanthorpe area we missed during the Mega. Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache the cache maker
Found with my mum StephLego, Dad MalDawg and little brother on a Geocaching trip down to Warwick
tftc. we are seeing how much of this power trail we can knock over in one hour. thanks for all the effort in placing these
found with Geoson geoff511. TFTC and congratulations for the effort put into this cache. The cache had water in it but the log was not wet. I replaced the cache upside down in an attempt to keep it dry.
