I found the cache uncovered. I put a piece of bark over it (but not mossy bark). TFTC!
Today we went caching along the Bracken Lane Fire trail, the OGradys Fire trail and the Betts Vale track, to find the four caches in the OGradys series. We found all four, and got to walk along some tracks that we hadnt been before, and good weather meant that it was a great day for caching.A much faster find than the previous cache in the series. The cache didnt have anything covering it, so we put a bit of mossy bark over it as per the hint. Thanks for the cache OldSaint!
This one took ages to find! I was too fixated on the clue but once I noticed who the CO was I knew to look a lot lower down I'm now going to be late for work, oh well! TFTC!Cheers,The Hancock Clan
Found it uncovered and in the open. Placed it back on the log with some mossy wood in front. TFTC
Sur la route du retour, je prends la longue route pour admirer le paysage et aller chercher les boîtes que je croise. Celle-ci est trouvée sans aucun souci!
Merci OldSaint pour la cache
On the way back, I take the long road to admire the landscape and pick up the boxes I pass. This one is found without any problem!
Thanks OldSaint for the cache

The trip had been planned for a long time, but with each passing day the nervousness grew.
It went to the other side of the world, about 15,000 km more than the longest journey so far.
I think it was one of the greatest adventures one can experience.
The time was short, but it should be at least a handful of cans, this one was one of them.
Thank you for the effort and fun.

After extending my walk, I arrived back here and started looking.
Again, I think I exhausted all possibilities and the hint wasn’t helping much either.
I was about to call it because there was now a steady stream of MTBs coming and going. I could have scared the &;”)&- out of them - would have been fun to watch but I kept quiet and mostly hidden.
I finally spotted the old thing out and was able to log the cache quickly.
Thanks for the cache!

A few orbits around the log at GZ and it was spotted some 8-10mins later (in a spot i had already checked ha ha ) The Mozzies and March flies were letting me know i'd worn out my welcome [B)]

A quick find.
About waist height for me.
Forgot to bring a writing implement so have attached a photo of the log.

Given it was show day, we thought it would be good to get some caches we have been meaning to get in the Fern Tree area. Got to GZ and searched in a few areas before making the find. TFTC
Found after a brief search on the way back from O’Gradys falls. Well hidden but not particularly mossy in the cache location and was more around waist height for me. I wonder if it’s been moved at some point?
Beautiful day for a walk. TFTC

Out and about but failed to unearth this one. Had a detailed search as per hint but no smilie today.
We tried to find this cache on the way in. After looking all over we gave up.
On the way back past we had another look. This time it jumped out at me. It was on the ground -not where I was looking first time.

Found with the Pelican. Always a pleasure to add a new smiley and explore the lesser explored trails
Not quite where I thought it would be but an easy find nevertheless and the coordinates were pretty spot on. A brilliant yet bold little hidey hole too! Had to dodge one muggle but it gave me an excuse to sit and enjoy the sun and eat some cashews. TFTC!
No luck for geoSonA and I tonight here in the gloomy twilight (no excuses, we had torches).
Thanks though OldSaint, we'll return in better light.
Not found at 8pm, nor 10 minutes either side thereof!

We set off early today as it was going to be a very warm day to collect 8 caches in the area and this was one of them. A nice quick find considering the last two logs have been DNFs. Removed a wet plastic bag and replaced with a new one. Cache is along the log, trackside, behind bark, not moss as everything has dried out since placement. TFTC
Saw most likely spot but clearly we were wrong. TFTC though. Nice sunny Easter day with lots of cars on the road.
Found it was just lying on the ground so we put back in place according to the hint. TFTC
Whilst out this way "looking for love" we decided to walk on and collect a few more caches. Very pleasant stroll and quite a few muggles in the area. Spotted the likely spot about 50 metres away and happy for a quick find on a beautiful day.

This was the longest to find out of the 4 in the series. I searched bottom and julz searched top and she found it.
Thanks for the cache.
#48 of Julz and Cathy's great Tassie Geocation.
Thanks for the cache.

Of the 4 caches, this one took a bit more searching. I took one side and Cathlym took the other. I soon came up with the goods. I didn't have the pen, so passed it down to her and she signed it, then I re hid it.
This was #48 of our caching trip around Tassie. Thanks for the fun

Good views of the mountain along the way to this cache, GeoGSP and I really enjoyed the walk. Another fairly easy find, the GeoGSP loves walking along the top of logs and so he really enjoyed this one. Thanks for the cache OldSaint.
Found with the geo-son during a Sunday morning bike ride down the mountain. There was a few different geo-trails heading up to the log and we had to suspend the search at one stage when another father and son team on bikes rode past but we got it in the end. Many thanks OldSaint
Searchong for this we were a bit concerned about the previous DNF's but as it turned out, it was quite a nice quick and easy find! No muggles in sight either which was great! TFTC
On my way to the summit I found many caches, including all the O'Gradys series. No luck with this one unfortunately. Maybe the owner should go up and give it a quick look.
A small empty zip lock bag was not a good sight particularly after plenty of time searching. The Bear ventured off to the falls and phoned a friend for assistance. On the return trip, aided with more info, he spent a fair bit of time looking to no avail. Hopefully just a case of poor bear eyesight.
Plan for the summer. Hike, 4wd and Geocache around Tasmania. It will be a great adventure. Cheers for all the caches along the way. I came out this way on new years day with no luck in seeing the sight. As the whole hill was surrounded in clouds. I headed back in today and hiked around a few of the trails. So many to choose from and a lot of caches to follow too. Thanks
Deercheetah, who know these mountain trails very well, took aus2 on a short walk today. The GPS was very unresponsive but his guides had previously found this series of caches so they were able to take him to the various GZs. No help was needed or given to locate this cache.
The only muggles we encountered on the walk today was a group of cyclists who just whizzed on by.
Really enjoying this series on such a good wide track. Number three found, so, one more to go.
Thanks for this cache and for the series Old Saint.

We had done Rocky Whelans Cave and OGrady's Falls so walked along to grab this one as well, a lovely easy stroll from the falls .

This one was our third cache for today, a nice east walk along the track to the cache and a quick find. Tftc
Went around the wrong side of the log at first but turned up the cache quickly in the correct spot. The hide isn't very mossy any more though. Great views of the Organ Pipes from here! TFTC
found this cache this arvo whilst continuing on with the O'Grady series.
thanks!
thanks!
After a big breakfast with the in-laws/grandparents, the kids went off with them so we were free for a few hours. We decided a walk was in order and I went to the geocaching website to see where to go. Heading up the track we found love on our first try and continued on to the O'Grady's series. We found the trail quite busy with dog walkers, pram pushers and bike riders but all disappeared as we reached the log. It took a bit of searching but eventually we were able to sign the O' Grady's Log log. Onwards to the falls. TFTC
Beautiful afternoon quick find with the hint but I did go to O'Grady's fall first before I turned on the CPSr and saw I was in the wrong spot. Thanks for the cache Oldsaint
Found on an absolutely gorgeous day. Cache was a little damp and plastic bag damaged. Replaced plastic bag with a slightly better one we happened to have. TFTC, lovely sunny location.
A quick ride after going up and down the Pipeline Track. No one about while found this one. Thanks for the series.
I was lucky to find this one as it was not where it was meant to be. I placed back in a place the best suits the hint.
Sue spotted the location from the precise clue. O'Gradys Falls were in good form. TFTC OldSaint
The lower slopes of mount Wellington have a lot of tracks that can be used for a circuit walk, and today we went from O'Gradys, up Betts then on the north south to the Springs and down Radfords. On checking beforehand it was discovered that the took us past four caches that we hadn't yet scored.

I liked this cache container too! Nice hide, although when I headed behind the log there was an unusual sort of cylinder thing on the ground, I thought uh-oh, is that the cache? But it wasn't - I don't know why I didn't bring it back with me, I guess it was rubbish. Thanks for another nice cache oldsaint.
After finding four caches near The Springs, we came down the mountains to look for the four "O'Grady's" caches. As time was getting on, we decided that one of us would go down Woods Track and start from the northern end whilst the other would take the car to Bracken Lane and start from the southern end. Again, accurate coordinates and the hint led to a quick find. TFTC OldSaint.
Nice little walk in my lunch break to find this cache. Certainly worth the work as the sun was out and I felt its warmt as I appropriated the GZ. GPS lead me past the GZ by about 40 metres before swinging around 180 degrees and leading me to the GZ.
A nice quick find and a lovely walk back to the car.
I will be back tomorrrow to find another in my attempt to find a (GC) cache each day for August.
Collected a frog on the way back to the car that had been sitting since November 2012!!!!

O'Grady's Log certainly isn't small ! Found this one after a small search.
Thanks for the cache, OldSaint !
Thanks for the cache, OldSaint !
After starting the trail at the wrong end we were a bit concerned about what specimen the log may be. The hint doesn't make quite as much sense if you walk on top of the log...
After cleaning up the caches on the NE end of the PTPT series we decided to attack this series. We enjoyed the stroll to the falls. A very pleasant path to a very picturesque location. Thanks OldSaint for bringing us here again. TFTC
This bit of track is one we mountain bike along from time to time before descending on the Rivulet Fire Trail.
A nice easy find with nobody about.
Thanks.

Today there was enough time for a short afternoon walk and the first aim was to complete the rest of the O'Grady's Falls series. This was the third one and it was found quite quickly - enjoyed the sunshine while looking. TNLN. Thanks OldSaint, we have now completed the series and so onwards to find other nearby caches.
Hello Cobber
It was a very easy pleasant walk along to the third cache in the series with a lovely view of the bridge along the way.
I spotted a likely hiding spot from a distance and found the cache easily.
By now I was expecting to find the empty log book and another *FTF*.
Now off to the next one.
THANK you for the cache.
