TFTC,It isnt every day that you can score a D1T1!TFTCCan remember being here a fair while ago with Mr Riddell finding a very very very sneaky cache in the BBQ shelter!
Cache was found after a short search. Thanks for the fun. Cleaning up Victoria with gridge98. We are on a mission this week. Completing twenty finds in Mexican local government areas is the challenge. Another find with the correct criteria. It is in Victoria and we have not accumalated twenty finds in this local government area.Today was the day to find this cache. Today is Thor's day the seventeenth day of the octavus month of the Roman calendar in the wonderful year of twenty twenty four. We found your cache container and added some inky stuff to the paper sheet or note pad you have supplied for a log book or scroll. The cache container and log book or scroll were in good condition. It was a bit windy today. It was so windy today. With the log signed and the cache replaced it was time to leave. Onwards to the next cache. Woot, that is not to far.I would like to show my respect and acknowledge the Traditional Custodians of the Land, and their continuing connection to it. I wish to pay my respects to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures; and to Elders past, present and emerging.I will apologize right now, because everything from here on is here solely for the purpose of padding the word count and winning that one hundred word diamond badge again. Somebody moved the goal posts. So many caches to find. So many caches to log. We find them, sign them and replace them. This particular geocache was found using one of the following GPS enabled devices, Garmin GPSr, Montana 680t, Oregon 650 or Dakota 20 and an Apple iPhone 11 using the marvelous Cachly app. Waypoints and paperless geocaching were downloaded via GSAK 9. Log prepared, checked and submitted using GSAK publish logs macro.Warning, this hobby can be addictive. It can lead to exercise, meeting new people and finding interesting places you might not have known existed otherwise. Beware: you may have fun. Apologies for the generic part of the cache log. We do apologise for the generic logs. Thanks to all the cache owner for placing this cache here for our enjoyment. Thanks for the cache. Merci la cache. Danke fr den Cache. Gracias por el cach. A short jog out to this one, no one around made for an easy find hereTravelling around Victoria with Freddo for a week finding caches as we go. With two challenges on our radar we were in full force. All logs signed with our names or F+g98 for the smaller caches. Thanks for the cache
Spring Victorian Incursion 2024.Day Fifteen: Baw Baw LGAWeather: very wintery, pretty dire.Daylight is running out, and after a very quick look at the logs and the GZ for the adjacent Barbeque cache, I opted for this one instead. A much quicker find Im sure, I could see it on approach. It looks like a recent falling tree has tried to take out the nearby bridge, and Im not sure if that orange netting is supposed to be up or not. The cache was returned as found. Thanks for this hide de ja vu.
What a lovely spot. I dunno what was happening but the ducks were going OFF when I was there, quick check, quick reach, lovely cache, I like how youve made it. Handy good job TFTC
Spending the day chilling out finding some local caches we seem to have neglected. This one was a quick find. However, the log and part of the container are missing. TFTC
How many favourite points can I give! That was batshit crazy. Just as sunset and it was sensational! What a spectacle! Thanks for the cache - it created a lifelong memory!
Wow! So long since I have been to this park. It's so very different now. The weekend is amazing with so much life. Here just on dusk and surprised to see flying foxes all through the trees and in the air. Fave for the experience at this particular time. Thanks Rebel Acts
DNF after reading other people logs it looks like it was on the chair but this chair has been very recently replaced that you can still see the concrete dust from the bolts
So incredibly small you may need to have a sit down for this one TFTC find number 116
Heading home after a visit to family in Gippsland, I stopped here to find a couple of caches.
Spotted this one by the light of my phone torch, as the gloom was gathering under the trees.
No muggles to be seen on this chilly evening.
My ever present Leatherman multitool performed log extraction duties before signing and resetting.
All in good dry condition.

After visiting Lardner Park we had a bit of time before catching up with a friend so decided to target a few caches around Warragul.
After finding the nearby cache I thought I would try this one out, much easier and a nice new blank log to sign

Beginning to doubt our cache finding ability. Read the activity for this one with people saying it was an easy find. We looked for ages but had no luck today
Due to unforeseen circumstances Mr Smokey Bear will no longer be a part of Team Smokey Bear and will continue his adventures as "SmokeyBearOG".
So I'm relogging all previous finds under my new account.
Unfortunately this log will not show the original logging date.
**Thanks to Rebel Acts for this adventure, looking forward to many more.**

In one last big day out for the year, buhfuhguh and I sent off 2022 with a trip to Warragul in the morning before gradually making our way around to Hastings to secure some of the last Community Celebration Events available to us alongside some miscellaneous local hides.
With the BBQ proving a little too challenging for us, we took a wander over to this one instead while waiting for a PAF response.
This is a cute little section of the park and a few other folks seemed to be enjoying it too.
We took a seat while waiting for them to walk past and a simple glance was all it took for me to spot the container in no time at all!
Thanks to de ja vu for placing this one here and Rebel Acts for keeping it going!

Out and about today with Brain in tow. With two celebration events on at a reasonable distance we decided why not. So with Warragul and Hastings routes mapped out we were off caching. Perfect weather and smiles about, probably should have put sunscreen on earlier in the day. Regardless had a great day out with great company. Thanks for the cache and the little adventure

We left home before 7 am to come to Warragul. This allowed Huntress to run the out and back "Two Towns Trail" while I collected some geocaches and we would both meet at the event at out 9 am. Turns out Huntress ran some extra kilometres for an 18 kilometre run and arrived late, while I got to the event early after completing a multicache a lot quicker than expected.
Found in first place I looked for a change at 8 am. Not exactly sure the name, but lovely spot to just sit and enjoy the area.
Thanks for the cache Rebel Acts

Nice walk around the lake. Stopped to take in the scenery. Great hidden little treasure!
After a week of heavy rainfall (90ml!) we were all itching to get out on this long weekend. We had recently created a list with the ‘most favourited’ caches in our region and noticed there was a glut of these in nearby Warragul. We had a lovely, chilly day finding 13 geocaches with the geokids and dog.
A quick find one for this once the muggle moved on. TFTC

Lovely spot in the shade. Easy find but broke lucky pen and no luck for rest of day
Day off so we have ventured here to Warrigul, had to wait for a lady and her pooch to leave before zoning in. Husband had the eagle eye today, signed log, replaced back as found. Lovely spot to listen to the birds.
That took far too long to find as I was looking for something totally different. The gizmo was pretty much spot on to where we had to be to make what was an easy find on this one in the end.
This is a favourite walking track and this evening we did a quick maintenance check in response to a recent dnf. Fortunately the cache was still in place.
Log retrieval should be easy if geocachers use the magnet against the central pin, and replace the log roll in the lid before screwing together. Please replace carefully.

After waiting a looong time for a Muggle to move on, we could finally stop walking laps and start searching for this cache. It didn’t take too long before this tiny little treasure was in our hands. Thank you for the cache!
Looked around so many times and then mango mermaid with her beautiful eyes found it first shot.
Thank you for the cache

Needed a hint with this one, it's so hard to see, thanks Mango. Hard to get the log out to. TFTC
Found it immediately although I wonder if it is in the correct spot. Seemed a bit too easy
We have been trying to do at least one caching run each week since the COVID restricts were lifted for regional Victoria. Our stats were hit hard this year when our plans to do some long trips in Australia were thrown out the window (as were the stats of the rest of the Australian caching community) but now that things are back on track we are trying to find as many caches in Gippsland as we can. We have been putting off a run to Warragul for a while as our current partner on our day trips lives in Warragul and has already found them all.
A straight forward find, thankfully because a few of the others here in Warragul have given us considerable challenge

On perhaps my third attempt my brother helped me find this! So pleased! Hidden in a great spot! Definitely over-thought it!

On our way to Ninety Mile Beach to log a 'first to find' on the new 'wreck of the Trinculo' virtual cache. With a DNF on the reputable BBQ cache we went for a wander so this trip to the park wasn't a bust. Thanks for the cache de ja vu.

Today is my day off. Visit Warragul for caching day with a friend. Easy to find. Thanks de ja vu for placing the cache
We found this whilst taking the stroll around this nice little park land. We had to wait for a muggle and her 4 legged friends to pass by but the find was made quickly once she did. Thanks for bringing us here and the cache.
A day out with the Canberra Mega Crew resulted in a few finds in the area. We had a great day with not enough singing, only one cool hat and a lot of awesome caches! We had to wait for a dog walking muggle here, but could eventually get searching. Thanks for placing the cache de ja vu.

A fun day caching with a great bunch of friends.
Mrs Papi4506 made the find here, as a muggle dog-walker passed by blissfully unaware of our purpose.
Cheers de ja vu
