I cannot see any information that suggests to me that steps have been taken to resolve the issue/s associated with this placement - one or more of the following applies:

- Cache Owner unable to maintain cache
- No response from the cache owner.
- No cache to find or log to sign.
- It has been more than 28 days since the last owner note.
- Cache has been abandoned by cache owner/cache in disrepair

As a result I am archiving this cache to keep from continually showing up in search lists and to also prevent it from blocking other cache placements.

If you wish to repair/replace/make available the cache sometime in the next 28 days, just contact a reviewer (by email and include GC number in cache name) and, assuming it still meets the current guidelines, the reviewer will be happy to unarchive it.

If there are components or remnants of the cache and you haven't already done so, please return to the GZ and collect the cache (or remnants). We don't want to litter our environment with Geotrash.

Should you wish to replace the cache after 28 days has passed please create a new cache listing so it can be reviewed as a new cache.

[u]MAINTENANCE REQUIRED?[/u]
[navy]This cache would appear to be in need of owner intervention, therefore I am temporarily disabling it so as to stop it showing up on search lists and to give the owner an opportunity to check on the cache, and take whatever action is necessary.

Geocache maintenance is a cache owner responsibility. Your prompt attention to any log that indicates things could be amiss will be greatly appreciated by all geocachers, see here http://www.geocaching.com/about/guidelines.aspx#cachemaintenance
The guidelines advise; "if you can't check/fix it straight away then Disable it till you can." and here's how; http://support.groundspeak.com/index.php?pg=kb.page&id=235

Please respond to this situation within 28 days to prevent the cache from being archived for non-responsiveness.

If you require more time, please be sure to post a "Write Note" log (not an email) explaining the situation and how much more time you require. For ongoing issues please ensure you visit the page and post a note every 28 days so as to keep everyone up to date, or the cache will be treated as an abandoned cache and archived without further notice.

And don't forget, once you have addressed the issue, post both an "Owner Maintenance" log, see here; http://support.groundspeak.com/index.php?pg=kb.page&id=404 and an "Enable Listing" log, see here; https://support.groundspeak.com/index.php?pg=kb.page&id=235 to get your cache up and running again.[/navy]

Hi there Rainbowfish1,

Your cache "Viewing Point" was last found on 13/11/2014, 271 days ago, and has had 9 DNF's since that time..
Is there any chance you could do a maintenance run to confirm if it is still there - - and replace it if it isn't.
If that's not possible then please archive the cache so that the spot can be freed up for someone else to use.

Regards

Ian & Penny

29-Mar-15
Searched for a while, no luck. Gave up and read through all of the descriptions for spoilers. Even when we knew exactly what it looks like, we still couldn't find it.

16-Mar-15
My 4th DNF for today Sad. I don't think I've ever had such a bad run of DNF's. A previous finder feels it could have been in a shrub a bit further than where we were forced to look, but that one has been removed by council (I presume), but it's not there. Could the CO check this one and the one up the road please???

01-Mar-15
Too much rubbish in the bushes, couldn't find anything

13-Feb-15
Too camouflaged for us

Great camo..very wet. Fun find for kids. Thanks.

24-Sep-14
Found it finally! On my third try! I searched all underneath the first time, and am glad to not have to do that again as the rubbish has built up badly. A well camo'd cache which was easy to find this time, but was wet inside. I took it to my car and dried it out with tissues and dashboard heat, but the old log is sodden and needs to be removed. Tftc, and well done to the GCer who put in the ritr log.

14-Sep-14
Was very hard. Not under the viewing spot Wink

07-Sep-14
After hunting the bushes which are littered with copious amounts of trash

06-Sep-14
Out grabbing a few caches on the GC with Tallen70, geobrother and geoBF.
Tough find, deterred by lots of rubbish around but eventually cache was in hand. Great camo! Inside was damp and original note pad is extremely wet but replacement log is fine. Travel bug/trackable was not in cache! Sad TFTC!

30-Aug-14
Looked everywhere, saw all the pictures. Couldn't find it

Took awhile but lots of fun

28-Jun-14
Very good. Good camouflage, gave us a challenge!!

12-Jun-14
Nice bush stop, cache & log saturated , We drained it out as much as possible. Find made EASY by fellow caches logging photo's of hiddy holes, We wish they wouldn't do that, it takes our fun away. TFTC

Good hiding spot

27-Apr-14
Sal spotted this one after following the clue. A testament to the cache container that this one is still here. Thanks Rainbowfish1 for hiding the 559th cache that we've found so far! Smile

21-Apr-14
Was not to hard to find!

21-Apr-14
The cache was a bit wet inside. We drained the water out.

18-Apr-14
So easy

01-Apr-14
First I started searching in all the wrong places but 30 seconds later I had one of those "ah ha" moments and the clue made sense. The cache was then found straight away. Well that is a rather brazen hide but I like it! TFTC. SL.

25-Mar-14
Visiting from Newcastle, staying at Kingscliff, I nearly phoned my new friend Couchmen but thought I'd check out another possible and "Bingo!", I'm surprised this has lasted so long in this spot although the camo is spot on, TFTC Rainbowfish1!!

19-Mar-14
Geo Wife and I had today free so I plotted a route and some caches that would give a great day out.

I had been here before and encountered heaps of muggles and in my limited search I found nothing.

But today with a photo to go by I realised I had been searching in the wrong spots.

There was still the possible problem of muggles but I couldn't have been happier as we approached as there was no one in sight.

We walked across the road spotted the cache straight away and checked out the great camouflage.

Thanks RainbowFish 1 TFTC SL TNLS

11-Mar-14

30-Dec-13
We were down at Robina today, 3 at the Apple store and me at a loose end.

Loose end NO WAY, not when there's caches near by!!!!

Robina was now all smiling so I had to head further south to fill in my time.

You are right about the MUGGLES here I have to abort my search a few times and even went to the toilets to avoid watching eyes in the end (after I was barked at by a dog a metre away that I hadn't seen coming) I LEFT!!!!

So not really a DNF just a DNGACTSP but I will be back.

Thanks for the HIde RainbowFish

28-Dec-13
Nice. Clever hide, glad I didn't have to rummage under the gazebo. Left TB Robbie from Germany.

27-Dec-13
Read the clues. GPS was out a little. Good hide.

25-Dec-13
Very clever hide. TFTC

15-Dec-13
We were holidaying on the Gold Coast, and on a shopping trip I detoured to look for this one. But some elderly muggles taking an extended interest in the bus timetable made searching difficult. In the end, I gave up as I had to get to the shops and home to meet the next holiday deadline...

But TFTH.

14-Dec-13
Hahahaha! Very good... First cache who's hiding place made my chuckle. Thanks!

14-Dec-13
Very bold Smile Thanks for the cache. I dried it out and bagged the log book.. also left a goodie

04-Dec-13
An easy find on a pleasant Wednesday afternoon. Took the TB. TFTC - TH4!

24-Nov-13
Out and about with Pigwig2 on a caching day in the area. As we walked towards GZ we had to decide which level to commence our search. No, not here, no, not there! Maybe here? YES!! Would you believe it, the first place Mrs. Herbz looked at and dismissed! TFTC.

23-Nov-13
Was certain I had co-ords right but there was too much rubbish - I did not want to put my hands in amongst it. Pity because I had driven quite a way to try for this one. Still some more to look for. Great place for kids' parties.

15-Nov-13
I was picking my son up from the local state school, and thought I would grab a few caches beforehand. I found this clever little cache without too much difficulty. I left the Golf Ball TB behind as I figure this is as close to a golf course that i might get in a while! Happy travels, TFTC.

26-Oct-13
GPS not very accurate, no need to crawl under the gazebo!

26-Oct-13
Quick find but had to wait for muggles to move on tftc

24-Oct-13
The gps wanted me somewhere else and after having a poke round decided to take a seat and let it settle. I read the hint then realised I was way off. A bit of a look around and I soon spotted the very clever hide, wow thats very cool. Added my mark in the log and replaced. Another favorite from me.
Thanx again Rainbowfish1

20-Oct-13
Yay!!! Found it!! This was our first geocache and it was pretty hard, but the hint "bush stop" was the best hint! Loved it!

20-Oct-13
Quick find...TFTC

13-Oct-13
Took the newbie cacher to find it!

13-Oct-13
Thanks for the cache Smile

29-Sep-13
Easily spotted! TFTC!

24-Sep-13
Walked around from Lakewoods, but couldn't even attempt the cache because a group, gaggle, flock, of teenagers had taken up residence at ground zero. Pity, but I know I'll have a nice walk next time as well.

18-Sep-13
On day 5 on my Queensland caching trip I was able to grab 65 caches for the day. Had a great sleep and started early to beat the heat. Plenty of great caches today and thanks once again to all the CO's. Added a favourite.

17-Sep-13
Best camouflage :p

I was out an about with my son Blake (turned 2 a couple of months ago). After a morning of tantrums and carrying-on, a visit to the Southport Farmer's markets (and a banana and some avocado) settled him down and he was soon asleep in the car. A bit of a drive down the highway was just the thing we needed, so I set the Google Navigation for this park.

After about half an hour of sleep Blake was in a better mood and we spent the next couple of hours exploring the park and using the playground.

The cache was found between passing muggles...... except as I was waiting a bus pulled up and the driver motioned to me asking if I needed a ride. "No thanks, I'm OK" I motioned and off he went.

Thanks for the cache Rainbowfish1. It's a great park. I like the little "island" in the middle and Blake was a big fan of finding the mangrove seeds and throwing them in the water for the ducks.

Another day crossed off the caching calendar. That is now 330 out of 366 days filled in.

10-Sep-13
Found with Poynts95 and Sportacuss. Had to go to the airport at Coolongatta today, so we left early and grabbed some caches on the way. Nice little pick up of quite a few in the area. Thanks to all cache owners for hiding and maintaining their hides and my appologies for the late logs.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Looked in all the wrong places before Sportacuss said "Here it is...." Always expect the unexpected. TFTC a nice hide.

07-Sep-13
Arrived with Ms Wig and after searching for quite a while in some likely areas, we took a break to rethink.... It was then that Ms Wig spotted it!

Thanks Rainbowfish1.

07-Sep-13
Well we were led astray at first while looking for this one Surprised it certainly wasn't where we thought it might be [B)] a bit more thought and a re-read had us a find TFTC

18-Aug-13
A kids birthday party nearby this afternoon and too many eyes. Surveyed GZ, unfortunately, there is a lot of litter. I'll leave this for another day.

15-Aug-13
Please b super sneaky with this one it's just so muggly. Replaced with slightly more subtle cache container. Hopefully will last a little longer.

05-Aug-13
Sadly found cache has gone. I will replace it shortly.

We found that there was just too much rubbish around this area. Searching between muggles passing came up with nothing but rubbish and we gave up finally when Roadie1 picked up a disposable nappy by mistake. People are truly disgusting!
We did enjoy the walk around the wetlands and park.
Thanks for bringing us here anyway, Rainbowfish 1.

28-Jul-13

Found this cache with JooJoo57 while out on a Saturday afternoon drive around looking for caches. A nice park with a most imaginative cache - well done Rainbowfish1. This is in my top 3 of best caches I have found to date.

20-Jul-13
Another beautiful park to look around. Clue was very helpful and one of the best disguised containers I have seen. Great work Rainbowfish 1.

19-Jul-13
Had to come back and redeem myself for the DNF,this time, wow what an easy cache to spot for a cacher[when you look at the right place] yet so amazingly hidden and not noticeable for the non cacher.Very clever.TFTC.Rainbowfish1.

07-Jul-13
Disguised well considering its IPS. A few muggles around, had to wait to return the cache. TFTC!

06-Jul-13
This one made me laugh. Such a bold container. I hope it lasts!! Deserves another favourite from me for cache making. Thank you.

05-Jul-13

Fabulous camo the kids loved it....we left a travel bug that wants to make its way to Japan!! Great spot for a play!

09-Jun-13
Awesome cashe, few muggles about but we managed to locate a well crafted hide. Thanks - kids love it.

07-Jun-13
Great park and some great walking tracks around the river, however after school on a friday afternoon it was incredibly busy which reduced me to a kick and shuffle rather than a full hearted search,it was just to muggly today, but I will be back.TFTC.

We'd been home for about an hour or so after finding your Lakewoods cache. Time enough for breakfast, to put on a load of washing, and to start contemplating that clean up list, when once again the "ding-a-ling" went "ding-a-ling" for another new Rainbowfish1 cache. So once again we headed over the hill.

Finding this one was a little more difficult than the first. We thought initially it might have been under the nearby structure but that was not to be. Had another think about the clue and sure enough the rethink was correct. Brilliant camo on this one!!!! This one had a clean logbook so we we can claim *FTF* at 9.45am. We left the small pencil topper we retrieved from Lakewoods since we thought that it was crowding that cache container but plenty of room in this one.

We must admit we are familiar with this area having used the Eddie Kornhauser Park for an afternoon walk on a regular basis. I'd often thought of placing a cache in the nearby structure myself but have never gotten around to it. Nice to see that there are not just one but two in the area now.

Thanks for the cache.
