7 years of travelling Australia and yet we have never visited Normanville so we are here now to rectify that. With clouds overhead, and some light rain forecast we waited until after lunch to do a short tour today following our GPSr.
Well this was a bit of an adventure. We pulled up at the gate and the area looked like it had been totally felled. Mr Felix decided to go and see what he might find. He found a mound of fallen branches. He started searching then caught a glimpse of something green deep within. Time to get more serious so he made a fulcrum and extracted what was left. Pics attached. Signed the log but this one needs some help from the CO.

Well it lasted 7 odd years but unfortunately logging in the area has killed it literally.
On a weekend away on the Fleurieu, on the way back from Deep Creek. Only had to ring once! TFTC
Mr Tardis was on a trip down south and stopped by here to find this one. I found the cache standing tall looking back at me.
Signed the log. Thanks for the cache firesafe.

A nice looking cache that could be a letterbox cache. There was a cockroach guardian. TFTC
Found with Olga and Luna at 11:44, on a slow drive home. Uni had found this one during the event, but had never logged online.
The cache has also been found on 8/11/2018 by muggles Lou and James from ForestrySA (se attached image)
There is some signage which says they're going to start logging in the area soon.

Jesswrigley and I were staying for an extended weekend just outside Cape Jervis, and today was a small detour to Victor Harbor and surrounds. We attended the 5 km Parkrun in Encounter Bay, followed by breakfast, and a drive to Port Elliot and then Goolwa, collecting a few sporadic geocaches. We then drove back and stopped off at Ingalalla Falls and drove to a few oldie caches along the coast before arriving back at Cape Jervis just in time for dinner!
After walking and seeing the falls, we drove around the roads to the nearest park gate to this cache, and then walked up the hill. We were initially drawn to the outhouse, and jesswrigley was too scared to look inside that I needed to search. However that yielded nothing, and we were quite a distance away from GZ anyway. There were some piles of rocks scattered around that were opportunities, however then we saw it, and we both thought the cache was awesome. A Favourite Point from me, love your work firesafe, thanks!

Very cool cache! Headed for the old dunny, but then saw the cache heading back to another possible spot!
Spent the morning out caching with ilook4geo and planned a route that covered farming, forests and foreshore. Each cache found had our names noted on the log book before we moved on. All were replaced as found.
Yes, this was an outstanding cache and soon found. Thank you to firesafe for putting out a cache in plain sight.

Out caching today with goingplaces2 and having a great time. This was one of the caches we did and enjoyed. TFTC.
The old dunny trick eh? About to call it a day when our youngest boogerboy yells out the cache was hidden in plain sight. Thanks for the great cache from the Snotty family.
Another weekend with Mr & Mrs Parrot visiting Mrs Parrot Senior.
Headed out for some caching while the womwn did their thing.
Lovely location however the log book has suffered from rain damage and needs replacing.
Unfortanetly I didnt have any replacements with me and this will need replacing.

Just driving around the area, decided to go and visit the ingalala falls...ended up looking for caches..had a lot of fun finding this one..first spot we looked w were very cold..but a quick find after that..also my first time I forgot to bring a pen..now I know how that feels..so went looking for one for a very very long time..turned my whole car upside down and finally YES...a pen Tftc!!
#2910 Some lovely old pines in this forest providing some shade a on a warm day. The geohounds enjoyed a bit of a run and sniff after a few drive by caches previous. We soon zoned in on gz and spotted what we were looking for. We posted our signature on the log and a FP . TFTC firesafe.
Guessed what we would be looking for but do you think we could find it. Dense trees means GPS might have been off. Widened the search and there it was! Couldn't see a log sheet so added a piece of paper. In the ziplock was something that looked brown and mushy so left it alone. Thanx. Another favourite coming your way.
Found on a day out around the area.
A nice easy find at GZ. Walking up towards GZ, I'd expected it to be in the group of trees about 20m away, but my compass kept pointing me further.
Thanks for the cache firesafe. Found on 25 Mar 2017 at 2:17 pm. Find #4344.

Down south for a couple of days tackling some caches with Tomboy711. We as in SnappyTomCats were here in October 2013 and found this one, but for some reason failed to log it, so it was very dejavuish when we did it again this time...It also has a new log book so I couldn't even flip back and double check.. Oh well, its a great spot so was happy for a second visit.. TFTC...again..
Container was empty, no box, or log book to be seen.

We are staying in Normanville with earthlight for a few days, it is day 3 and today we are making our way to Victor Harbour with a slight detour grabbing the caches we have missed down towards Deep creek, this one is cool, its been a while since the old dunny has been used here. TFTC
Quickly located with Dr Owl!! We both wondered why this was a traditional and not a Letterbox Hybrid!! Thanks firesafe for the hide!!
Owl was out on a caching expedition with CPwanderer. The bad mojo of the last few days was discarded as owl found cache after cache. Some gorgeous scenery was observed and the rain largely held off. Owl was driving and unusually not keeping logs on finds, so some errors might creep in to the descriptions. Wasn't expecting an actual letterbox with this one. It did make it easy to find and raised a smile.
Took the grandson on our maiden expedition and he found it first pretty good for a 5 year old
A nice quick find after traipsing through the mud to get to GZ. After logging the find we realised we were amongst the old ruins, so we took time to ponder what life must have been like here back in the day.
Thanks Firesafe.
Thanks Firesafe.
Found as a part of TheKellyGang, writing this as a genaric log as I was a part of TheKellyGang and am now out on my own.

A popular place as the race for the last few points gets close to the end. Thanks firesafe, I'll have to check back in the records to see if I've found any others in the series. Cheers.

Was pretty sure there would be a Firesafe letterbox hide as one of the caches on game day and sure enough there was. Mr S made the find whilst Mrs S waited in the car and waved at passing cars.
Thanks firesafe. Think we might have the set of these so far.
