We were in Caloundra for the night and had time to do a few caches before we left.
NobbysNuts and I headed towards GZ and noticed a couple of young muggles practicing moves on their skateboards and it appeared that they were very close to where we wanted to search so I approached them and told them what we were doing. One offered to search for us and soon had the cache in his hand.

Hi Wesso Family, it's always nice to search for your caches, as the maintenance is so pleasing.
We came up to see the gap between north and South Bribie Island. And finding some caches.

Wesso Family I found your cache Mr Percival's "New" Nest on 17/3/2022, 12:00 pm. This is my find 3319 and find # 7 today. Took longer than it should of. Eventually found it. Thanks for the cache, mate! TNSLLN
After 2 dnfs today I was starting to think I'd lost my touch, we persevered here til i spotted it. Managed to complete signing duties without any blood offering thankfully. Tftc
Willis007 and I had the opportunity to head up to the sunshine coast for the day and collect a few caches before the night time event and the GIFF presentation. We were looking at targeting the Landsborough area and then the pelican waters caches before heading to Coolum. We were pretty much on track all day with just a few targets that will have to wait until next time. Overall, we got in a few labs finished off and a fun few caches. It was a long but profitable day, and a lot of chats and fun along the way, thanks to all the CO’s for the hides.
Finally in the Pelican waters area and it was a target rich area for us. Working our way around we came across this one and managed to find this one quickly. It was an easy grab and the cache name gave it away for me. All good and with it signed and replaced we were off to the next ones in the area, thanks.

Up on the Sunshine Coast today to find some caches with some friends, we stopped at nearby pub for lunch. The others had found this one already, I popped out to grab this one before we headed off.
I quickly found the nicely hidden cache, signing the log and replacing all as found, I said hello to Mr Percival and headed off for further adventures.
Thanks wesso family for placing the cache here.

In the fading light, and after buying a few groceries at a nearby supermarket, we decided to look for this one since it was so close to where our car was parked. We were considering returning in the daylight tomorrow, when Mr Domsky put his hand on it it.

Out and about with georode, Snickersallan and grannysmith1947 targeting tree fishing pole caches (or with special tool require attributes) and basically any caches that picked our fancy in Golden Beach/Pelican Waters area.
Thanks for the cache and taking us here wesso family. Team effort here, great we have a previous finder with us.

A lovely morning picking up a few caches in the area and this is one I found. From reading some logs I thought this was going to be difficult to retrieve but with an acrobatic move I had the cache in hand. Log signed and cache replaced where I found it. Thanks Wesso family!
This is another example of a cache that has been stolen and replaced, moved and frustrated over.
To be honest I didn't read much more than the name of the cache, so was getting it all too wrong for way too long.
Eventually spotted it by accident. Ha!
Funny the replacement rusts out over the course of years while the original disappears shiny and new.
Thanks wesso for showing me this crafty little area and the bike paths surrounding it with a geocache, and for the maintenance on it and them all too.

11:33:00 AM. Parked to GZ and thought no way. After a bit of a search the better half spotted it. I retrieved it and the log was signed. Thanks for the cache Wesso Family
Well this one was amusing. We approach the area when instantly muggle friend spots a bright blue container in area. We retrieve, open and its empty. So I left note for new log in container. Also phd Co to see if we were correct. We then moved onto Magical Place To Live, when Co returns my call. Ummm...so what we found was NOT the cache. We have a laugh and return for another look. So using hint from C O, we were still dumbstruck. Then I read previous messages and realised we needed to s t r e t c h. Using a stick, we finally had cache in hand, but could not return properly. Placed hidden in closest spot. Tftc Wesso and the afternoon of help.
I was looking for Adventure Lab for today and saw this new one. So this one was put on the list. The driver for today adventure was grannysmith1947.
So the list of today finds were adventure lab, earthcache, multi, mystery, and 11 traditional. The finds count was 19 for today.
We had lot of fun today. Of course there were lots of muggles today so lots of patience was needed.
Sorry for the generic post.
Cache a day to keep the doctor away, or is it to keep me sane. No it’s to keep my streak alive. wesso family TFTC *557* streak. *3408* Finds

Was here yesterday but didn't get till log till now. Spotted this one quite quickly but stopped to discuss access we came up with all sorts of balancing acts and climbing ideas until one of us (hint - it wasn't me ) pointed out that the change of level made it possible with a bit of a stretch TFTC
While we waited for dinner at the nearby tavern, i wondered over to grab this one. After a few minutes hanging around it was spotted. Can't see a pelican fitting in here.

Enjoying the clear blue skies and winter sunshine up the coast today, on an outing around Caloundra tidying up some caches with Roostaman.
We headed into the shopping centre in search of a feed, but there was no bakery takeaway or anywhere to buy nosh, so we headed for the cache instead. We said hi to Mr P, then checked out GZ where after a short hunt I put my mitt on it. Grabbed some bottles for the recycling fund before moving on.
---
Log signed at 12:30 and cache returned as found. Thanks for the smilie **wesso family**. This log is trackable.

After a few minutes of searching around the cache was soon in hand. Glad I'm tall
Out for a day of caching with Mr Curious Quest. I had been here previously to look for this one, but I must have been cache blind that day. The cache was quickly located in a place that I am sure I looked in last time. TFTC
Selvagirls invited me out today to do some caching.Made our way to GZ and set about the search. Not in the first place we checked. but looking from another angle, soon had the cache in hand.Log signed, and all replaced as found. TFTC,
In the area again.. I decided to have another looksee.
Yet again - nothing for me. Hmmm. I decided to PAF the one person who should know what's what : Mr Wesso himself. He kindly gave me some intel where it SHOULD be.
I checked the area. I couldn't see anything. Maybe a secondary area Mr Wesso suggested? Nothing
The contrast of sunlight and dark corners was not helping. Cue : My mobile phone. I took some snaps and checked the pictures. I saw something very suspicious in one of the photos. That has to be it. After attempting from several different angles... success! I bought the cache to light.
I signed the log and re-hid the cache as found. As Mr Wesso knows from the photos I sent him, the cache is in good condition
Happy to finally get this one.. and thanks for taking my call, Mr Wesso. TFTC

No luck for me today.
Despite the area being relatively deserted, I came up empty handed.
It's probably still there and I missed it. TFTH Wesso

This one took us a while but after taking a step back and rethinking, reading a couple of logs etc we finally had a win and found it!! Thanks for the cache Wesso family
After a 2 day work function at Pelican Waters, on the way home, I had a few hours free for geocaching before heading home. Plans to completely clean up this part of Caloundra were unfortunately thwarted by rain showers.
Great sculpture nearby. This contained took me a little longer to find than I had hoped. I was about to call a DNF when I realised I had searched "there". What do you know? A sneaky cache. Coordinates were good.
Thanks Wesso.

Thursday. Slow Puncture was out and about today on the lower Sunshine Coast.
We scoured this area like people possessed – came up empty handed on this one though. A maintenance man who was wearing a uniform came up to us and asked if we were geocachers. He said that he knew of the cache we were looking for, but also mentioned there had been other issues in this area Our second DNF in a row.
This was the 3rd of 11 DNFs we had on today's trip.
Thanks ***Wesso Family***, for showing us this place anyway, hopefully we will be back!

Few! It was easier retrieving this cache than placing it back! We had to do some very monkey like moves here in order to sign this log. Tftc
At last, a pub cache. I didn't see the beer attribute checked so I didn't know what to expect. The worse news is that I didn't have time for a beer. I was trying to sneak in one more cache before picking up my daughter from work at Burpengary.
I love a good cemetery cache, and this is clearly where shopping trolleys come to die. I paid my respect to the fallen before going on the hunt. I started off in the wrong area because when I left I noticed my shoes and socks were covered in prickles and burrs. No time to admit the pain they are causing or remove them.
In the end I tippy-toed up to grab the cache and signed the log, ignoring the offenders hurting my feet. I took a sad long look at the tavern when I left knowing that visiting every pub in Australia is on my bucket list. The only way to commiserate with myself was to have a few beers when I finally get home. tftc

Found it (eventually) even the muggle husband had a search. Glad he was with us to reach it.
My next stop while in the company of DreamerSkye, Kittycute, 1MinnieMoo and 1GiantPanda. We had a quick bite to eat and then the hunt was on. It didn't take long once at GZ to find the hidden beasty. We left our scribble and replaced as found.
Thanks for the cache Wesso Family

A quick stop here today to kill two birds with one stone (figuratively, pardon the pun, Mr Percival is still safe and sound I promise!). We headed over first to make our find, in the spot I expected it to be - glad I could make the reach for this one. Then it was a quick stop in at Coles for the lovely NyssaFlutterby to grab some supplies for our lunch while we all hung out with Jelly the Wonderdog on the grassy hill.

Today we ventured down to Caloundra, this was a tiki tour following the caches along the way.
Scenic views of mountains & seascape. Passed through some new subdivisions as well, some seemed quiet upmarket.
A good variety of caches & hides found.
Luckily I had hubby with me to be able to reach this cache. A good hide when a break is needed from shopping.

I am out and about caching today around the southern Sunny Coast region.
At one stage I had almost found them all around here.
Today I nearly made it just over 40 finds for the day. [^]
A short search for me today. [^]

After being muggled out at the last cache, I walked confidently to this area... only to find two guys chopping branches and doing other garden jobs on the spot. Darn it!
I then went into the mall and grabbed a very decent Merlo coffee and lotto ticket.
When I emerged, I went back to the GZ and it seems Bill and Ben had gone around the corner where I could still hear them.
I did a quick frisk of likely spots, but there are plenty of them here, so I then got up high and was delighted to spot the cache. Must have missed it by that much!
All good inside so TFTC. I replaced all as found before the boys returned.

Climbed up as high as I could to have a scout around. Lucky I did cause I spotted the sneaky cache from just the right angle.
I thought it may be where i though i would hide it and there it was, good spot by angjie
A local staff member thought we were in the wrong place, but we put it back where we found it.
Thank goodness for Dads who come for the ride. We needed some height for this one. Great urban hide after lunch at nearby club. TFTC
Thanks to the Wasso team for a well placed cache. Found with GW whilst walking to the shops. The Magellan was a bit uncertain about the GZ and that's understandable with the high walls adjacent to the site. However some deduction soon led us to the cache. Thanks team for a good hide.
Sorry stumped us, climbed here & there....stood back, stood close ...no luck. Thanks Wesso this is our nemesis 4 times we have failed!!!
These are taking way too long to find. I finally noticed this one when I looked in exactly the right direction. Good hide.

#1323 @ 12:33 pm In the company of Stacevel and *SuzySquirrel*. Second find for this cache as the cache is located more than 20 meters away from original GZ and is a different cache container. I had to look just as much as if it was a new one so I claim a find. ~ TFTC Wesso Family
I made this unnecessarily complicated by arriving by boat, but exploring is always fun. Too many muggles at the tavern to check where I think it is.

Out and about with MinkosDes this fine evening, he had messaged me for a quick adventure so naturally I couldn't resist!
We found this odd little hide after having a look at the pelicans. Signed and replaced as found.

After grabbing another 'NEWER' cache by this CO, we decided that we could not stop at just one cache... Come on, honestly, I think that it is impossible to just grab one!
The part of actually finding more caches to hunt tonight is really hard due to the fact of finding caches that both mtill17 and I have both not found. This one was lucky enough not to be found by either of us and got some attention tonight.
We found a carpark and walked over to where GZ was. This was when we both separated... mtill17 went over there and I went over here. After a few minutes of looking around, I said that "I think that it might be over here and in this area".
After taking off the tongs and doing a bit of this, then a little of that we soon has a cache in the hand. With a signature in the log, we were both on our way to the next cache.
Thanks for another one Wesso Family. All is in order with this cache.

Mr Percival is well and happy in his home. A few muggles around but they were mostly jogging around the adjacent pathway. So a quick monkey act retrieved the cache, log signed and a repeat act to replace. Great! Found at 5.40pm on 24th June 2015. TFTC.
