Logs
The skyrail destruction team has been through and completely decimated the entire area.
There is no sign of the feature that inspired the cache, or the cache.
So after almost 3 years, and 233 logged finds, it is time to go.
It's was fun while it lasted.

Can't believe I pass this spot on a weekly basis and never took any notice of GZ before! What a great cache.
Quick and easy find and nice and quiet during a weekday morning, that is until a train went past! Indeed, a curious place for this structure, particularly since it seems to be BYO chair, but perhaps it is easier to maintain than a decorative shubbery! TFTC!
Came by to check things out and visit some trackables. Sunday afternoon is much quieter. Still, needed to do the old *kneel down and tie my shoelaces* trick.
I just happened to be in the area to collect some information so I thought that I would quickly grab this cache. A quick find in a surprisingly deserted area. TFTC.
Out and about with Vannessa&adoh getting a few awesome caches of the year while out on the road heading for hanging around in toorak. TFTC. A few favourites are heading out today.
Out with lukie1987 having a look at some of the nominated caches of the year. Very simple and easy. It's cute reading the logs on this cache, where this is quite often people's first or early finds. Thanks SirJ-Oz.
This was our very first geocache. Thanks to the peeps who hid it. A great spot!

My 50th find YAY. Alas I did not have a pen. What a unique place for this structure TFTC
Geokid was very impressed with the hiding spot for this one. Well done! Took nothing left nothing.

I'm pretty sure that Hughesdale station is on the list of stations to be modified so they are no longer level crossings. After sitting here for a solid five minutes with the same cars waiting to turn north, I can see why. After waiting for that green arrow to finally come around so I could look underneath, I began the search. Nice grab once I was muggle free, replaced and back to the car. I still have no idea why this structure is here without the logical accompanying structures, but at least it's pretty?

Found after a day at the V8s, first find in Melbourne TFTC from Sth Aussie 12/09/2015 5:37 pm Find #588
Found with atsmug at the end of the whereigo, then we had some lunch, sorry about the late log
Rode down here after just discovering Geocache-ing through reddit and was too excited to wait till the next weekend.
Thanks for my first ever Geocache!
Thanks for my first ever Geocache!
Found while house hunting in the area! Left a treasure and took a treasure :3
Went earlier on in the evening after work. Too many muggles around! So returned later this evening and met with success. Nicely hidden!
This one provided a great excuse for a trip to the nearby Oasis Bakery. We got a delicious takeaway lunch, then drove to the 'interchange' where we happened to park in exactly the right place. Love the clever little hiding spot! Getting it out and returning it in this high-traffic area involved having one person keep a look-out while the other slipped it back into place. Left a little grenade-shaped water-squirter. TFTC, it was fun
Nice hide.. Found it with RayRefolies after a quick visit to Chaddie one thing about geocaching, open your eyes haha
I see what you mean about seemingly superfluous...had not noticed this before! TNLSSL. TFTC
Good spot to hide it I get the logic! Tftc I think we found a tracKable???? With friend
Checked on the cache, and all is good.
Also, I dropped off one of my respawned trackables.

Having an overnighter in Melbourne, I decided to do a few caches around town before heading to nightshift later this arvo. A nice little hide after jumping on the pushie to do this series, thanks SirJ-Oz
Cache check and dropped off a trackable.
Sadly, there were no other trackables in the cache but otherwise the cache is in good condition.

Made a special trip for this one - Oscar the Kangaroo is over the finish line. Where to next? TFTC.
Visiting the cache to collect Oscar the Kangaroo (TB) who has won the race against Barry and Kevin, both of whom are MIA.
Thanks DMAG for completing Oscar's mission.

TFTC Sir J-Oz, quick find on the way home from dinner. No trackable inside.

In the past I have tended not to rush for caches close to where I live; possibly mentally 'saving' them for a rainy day, or something like that.
Anyway, this is the third-closest cache to my place, less than a k away, and tonight at last became 'the night' to come looking, when Spannaworks suggested an evening walk/scooter ride here and back with the geokids (possibly to wear them out a little before bed...) with just enough light left before it was too dark to require a torch to search.
With a pretty good idea where the cache would be, at GZ I was content to once again marvel at the pure oddness of the structure in terms of its location and seeming lack of utility (outside of geocaching) while the geokids briefly searched, with Geoson #1 finding the well-constructed hide in just a few seconds.
Utilising geofamily for cover as the occasional car passed by, I quickly signed the log and also dropped in a trackable I've been carrying around for far too long, to commemorate finally doing this close-to-home cache at last.
Thanks for another nice local hide, SirJ-Oz!

On the way home from work and I thought, surely I can squeeze 1 cache in tonight. It was dark, no cars and a huge long freight train wS passingby. Man! They are so loud when you are right next to them. Found the crafty cache. SL. Could not fit anything in so TNLN. TFTC
Suscoe's 6th find of today as we wandered about on a gloriously sunny day.
However it did get pretty hot during the afternoon!!!!!
The area was pretty quiet, no one about, no one interchanging here!
A quick look and there it was patiently waiting for us.
Log signed, cache popped back and all was right with the world.
Thanks to SirJ-Oz for the cache.

Picked up Brock05 TB from Hughesdale Interchange Time Table this evening after Annoying Tarbit put a call out for help to get this one back to Western Australia.
We fly out at 11:05 am tomorrow for Perth and then drive down to Bunbury for our Son's wedding.
We will be passing through Mandurah on Thursday.Happy to be helping Brock05 TB achieve it's goals.
This is one "well travelled" TB. It has achieved all of it's goals and now it is time to go home.
I grew up in Warnbro in the '70s and holidayed in Mandurah wit family many times.
