Lump of wood island in middle of tracks. Tftc beautiful spot but frustrated with inaccurate information.
Found whilst enjoying the Grotto walk and the Wilson's Way walk. The hint is wrong, at a lower height. We found the cache with a broken lid and wrapped in a plastic bag that has holes in it. We have replaced the container with an identical container in size and colour. Then we LOGGED it. TFTC
Cache was found around 6-7m from bearings. No pencil in cache. Great spot to walk and take the dog for a splash!
1st find on a day that was too windy to go to the beach! Miss 8 all over the hide...
After arriving in Nowra yesterday afternoon and settling in then walking to some caches it is time to get out in the car and explore.
We did a bit of bush bashing to get to GZ, but the find itself didn't take very long.

Another day spent down in the Shoalhaven area. This time I visited North Nowra, Bomaderry, and Shoalhaven Heads. Made a good mark on the map - finding nearly all of the caches attempted today. Once again, I met up with Bonfire7 and we had a great day outdoors! Thank you to all the Cache Owners for an enjoyable day trip.
Notable mention: Geocache Description says mint tin. Hint says Bison. Today I found the mint tin! Looking back at photos, I believe I found the original container (photo log from 2015 matches the cache I found today). Cheers!!

Another day well spent down in Nowra, chipping away at more of the 50km radius.
Found roughly 15% of total remaining hides, which is pretty sweet!
It was quite hot today, hitting 31 degrees, but I managed.

3rd official DNF for the day.
Met up with Jamberoo just before we tried searching for this one.
With both sets of eyes and an expanded search (10-20m radius around GZ), after 10 minutes, we gave up.
Recent DNF's suggest missing?
Found roughly 15% of total remaining hides, which is pretty sweet!

The view from this cache was spectacular. The whole group of caches was great to visit on our way home.
Great excuse to come to this beautiful area. Followed a lyre bird for 30 mins listening to its amazing singing... very much worth doing the entire walk SL TFTC
Found on a trip to Nowra and surrounds with Steeba and The Rats. When The Rats suggested a day trip to the area, none of us could say no, there are quite a few caches that have popped up around here of late. We had a great day driving around collecting some fantastic caches.

I couldn't think of a better way to celebrate 15 years caching than with a few friends enjoying the game I love. Today I headed south with steeba and Hoojar as we endeavoured to find some caches in the Nowra district.

While grabbing this one I noticed the trail down to the riverfront cache #1, so off I went before returning for this one. This was the last one i managed before we were due to go tree climbing.

After dropping Geoson at school I had a beautiful full day of spring geocaching ahead of me as I ambled down to Nowra for the Waratah 2014 GWSR Venturer Scout weekend.

Quick find only to discover I dropped my pen along the way. After back tracking a few 100 metres I made my way back to the cache signed log and continued on my merry way

TFTCHad a suddenly spare day to geocache so decided to FINALLY finish off the smilies in this neck of the woods. A very quick find to give us the lift we needed to get going on the grotto! SL TFTC paysandu
