Out and about after lazing the day away yesterday. Nice and peaceful walk, with barely any muggles around.
This year's pre-dinner Christmas Day walk was a circuit of the lovely Yangebup Lake. As to be expected, it was very quiet around here today, which made it nice and easy to search for the caches This was spotted very fast... just took a couple of attempts to get close enough to stretch and reach All ok here today - TFTC
This Girl Guide leader loved the clue! Person before us left an obscene drawing - not in the family spirit of geocaching TFBanksiaC
Easy find for Big Mick today. Hopefully the Turdler let’s us continue to the other. We left a starlight keyring for the fun of it

Enjoying the early morning walk around the lake with Leega and the geohound. We made the short walk off the path to gz. After a brief search we had our paws on the prize. We signed your log and returned your cache back to where it lives. Now on to the next one. TFTC ChrisRG.
Found with axell33, with the quick detour off track we soon had the log signed. Love the history of the area. I’ve driven passed this lake many times for many years and never actually really seen it! This was a great walk, seen a lot of of birds and a little bandicoot. And we did this series in order, very unusual for us! Really enjoyed the morning here. Thanks for the series ChrisRG.
After the Dockers lost their match against Essendon, I headed out to South Lake to have a find some of the recently published caches and some older existing caches too.
Found the cache blatantly perched maybe 30cm up a banksia tree. It was obvious and was totally up for juggling, so I’ve put it at the base of the tree with a few leaves covering it. Owner may want to check. Cheers ChrisRG!

Find 13 of 37 on two mountain bike rides around Cockburn/Yangebup, then after lunch and waiting for the temperature to really warm up, Thomsons Lake. Today's target was 36 finds to make 2020 a record year and hit 1500 finds and thanks to various COs placing and maintaining some compact series we made it, specifically Lazarus_68, ChrisRG and fratra. Lachlan1.77, I C Nothing and Barnzy12 also chipped in with some random caches just where we needed them!
Skipped #1 as we found it a while ago and carried on round to this one. All good.
TFTC ChrisRG!

Hi there ChrisRG.
We found your cache **"Yangebup Lake 2 - History"** today. (This makes our find count 22921).
We cached around Yangebup Lake today & found your cache **"Yangebup Lake 2 - History"**.
We had an interesting trek around the lake & thoroughly enjoyed our walk and the scenery - but unfortunately we were a little ambitious and didn't manage to get all the caches on our todo list. (We found 8 caches today & DNF'd 1).
Thanks for placing this cache here. Over the years, Geocaching has taken us on many adventures and to lots of wonderful destinations all over Australia. Without 'caching as our guide we would never have found so many interesting places on our nomadic wanderings. 'Caching has also introduced us to a diverse group of like-minded caching tragics, many of whom we now call friends. Thanks also for not placing an eclipse tin or a 200ml Sistema here. It made us feel really good to find this regular sized cache here.
**Coordinate Accuracy:** We found your cache around 3m from where the GPS said we should be looking.
**Cache Condition:** The container and log book are in good shape.
**Took:** Nothing
**Left:** Smiley Badge.
Thank you for adding to our adventure.
Regards
Ian & Penny

Out for the day, the Mrs attended a baby shower and I grabbed some caches in the area. Win Win for all.

A few metres from GZ but the clue works. Lots of ants but they can are only small. Grabbed the code from here
TFTC. Bit of a disagreement about who got the bouncy ball. Also the cache was full of ants... moved it slightly off the nest
A nice walk around the lake on a beautiful day. Living NOR, I rarely come this way but I was catching up with a friend who lives nearby and I took the opportunity to introduce her to geocaching! Thank you for the cache ChrisRG.
The Kwinana Joey Scouts are spending this morning getting some of the caches around Yangebup Lake.
Had to fight some ants here. It looks like they have found a home! Log signed and swaps made. TFTC!

It took me a few circles to find this one. Unfortunately the cache is now an ants nest with millions of the little fellas living in it. I used a stick to grab the info I needed but I decided not to sign the log due to the ants. The next finder, or CO, will need a can of ant spray. TFTC.
We liked the look of this circular walk around the lake and weren't disappointed. All caches were found easily and in good condition unless otherwise mentioned. TFTC
Enjoying a walk around the lake. Reasonable level of success I found all 6 of the caches that I looked for. Only skipping looking for a few as they werent pram accessible. Happy to have a reason to return to this place in the future. Thanks for taking me here. The ants enjoy hanging out in this cache.
There is a prescribed burn taking place in the area until the 10th. I have removed the cache and will replace after that date
Visiting Perth from Brisbane for WAGB17. Out for a healthy walk around the lake. Beautiful day. Beautiful location. Good sized cache, thanks. Easy find. Left a couple of swaps. TFTC.
Going backwards around the lake, hoping to get the series today. And got all of the letters!

On holiday from new Zealand felt nervous traipsing through the long grass but luckily soon had prize in hand many thanks
Parked near a gate this time which made access a whole lot easier, quick grab at GZ. TFTC.
This one took a while as the gps was all over the place. Attacked by a nest of ants and an uncooperative gps, but in the end I put the phone away and went with my gut. Good thing. I found it straight away.

Thank you! Decided to spend the morning doing this series. After taking a while to find the first one, this one was spotted much quicker.
I enjoyed a really pleasant early walk around the lake before the rest of the family woke up. A good variety of caches found and all being in good condition. This was the sixth find of the series. I almost got bowled over by a muggle dog just as I deviated off the path to find this one. So many places to check and I think I checked almost all of them before eventually discovering the cache right on marked GZ. Apologies for the late log. TFTC ChrisRG
Beautiful spot, shady and a great view of lake. Cache was fully exposed so I covered in leaf litter but left a arc shape piece of concrete on top to mark the spot. TFTC.
