Bees are still active even at nightWas stumped for a minute, but then with some rummaging, the prize was in hand !It would appear some moisture is somehow getting into the container as the log is a little bit damp. Stamped and returned to its clever, hiding place Im green with envy.TFTC
We are on a caravanning trip around Australia seeing the sights and finding a few caches along the way. We are staying at friends place and decided to stay an extra night, so we had an extra day to fill in. So we decided to get the bikes out and ride a bit of this trail. Such a great trail. And some great caches along it aswell. Handed out quite a few favourites today. Thanks everyone for placing these cachesWe tried searching for this one earlier but there were people in a car close by. So we headed off to get some other caches before returning. The cache was found after a bit of searching. Thanks for the cache
Had a look in the obvious spots to no avail. Beware the bees they were active after a couple of days rain. Will rethhink while we do some tasting.
Found this cache with dad, after playing in the playground.
Signed the log.

This Sunday, I and J plus the little one visited the Dark Sky Reserve to watch stars, and we found some caches on the way. We tried 17 caches, found 14 caches, including traditional caches, mystery cache, multi cache, and Adventure Lab caches.
This was the first find for today.
The little one enjoyed herself in the playground, then we tried this cache as it's close by.
It was a quick and easy find. Signed the log with both names, and placed the cache back.
Thanks for the cache, bructus.

I was out this way to get some geocaching supplies and decided to stop here for a quick break and a cache. One half lap around the tree and I was say here it is.
Thanks for the cache bructus.

Clocking up cache finds for the July Wheel of Challenges, whilst working toward other challenge goals and milestones!
It's an icey wintery day here in Nuriootpa and not even the wind-proof umbrella could compete with the wind! Very appreciative for quick a quick find today!

Yesterday we travelled from Bordertown to our lovely accomodation in Tanunda. Once settled in we had a break in the crazy weather of today to find some caches before the sun set. Time for just one more before the sun set, this was a nice easy find. Log book also wet in this one sorry to say. The weather has been crazy the last few days so not surprising.

We are finally able to travel interstate without heaps of loops to jump through. We thought we would take it easy and have a look around South Australia and grab a few more LGA's while we were here.
Out for a morning run while staying at the caravan park.
This was find number 3 for the day.

Bingo! In broad day light I barely needed the GPS. My zero is pictured - pretty close! Second day in SA and out on trusty treadles aka my mtb to explore the trails and surroundings. Had no intention of doing so many but these quality caches piqued the curiosity and anticipation of another surprise or fun cache. Happy and relieved to record no DNF’s and on average most were located ‘relatively’ quickly. TFTC AND THE FUN and the effort to contribute to this fave game!
Walking the geo dog with johnnyclem. Found a few caches on the lovely linear park. TFTC
I had to wander away from that train….and Here it is, just not on a train

Today I decided to head out for a days caching with it being a public holiday and not having anything else to do. I find Australia Day to be a pointless day off if not attached to a weekend, change the date and make it always be attached to a weekend.
It was quite a warm day which didn’t hinder my 15000 step count but made for thirsty work.
Found 40 caches for the day, very productive. Some great hides today in Gawler and Nuriootpa. Still so many to come back for, need to get some puzzles solved.
Thankfully no snakes spied today.
Finished the day off with a lovely Zambreros in Gawler on the way home.
My appreciative thanks to all the COs for the wonderful hides.
Quick find here TFTC

Mrs Woodyrothwell was keen to have some sort of healthy salad for lunch seeing we have been enjoying possibly too much wine. That’s how we found ourselves at Subway and headed across the road to the park to enjoy a feed. After feeding our faces we checked for some nearby hides and were rewarded. tftc
Thanks bructus for the placement and ongoing maintenance. I am glad the cache was at this end, I was able to keep away from the bees at the other. Such a lovely park.
Today is sunny but cool, great day for a drive. I’ve come to Nuriootpa to sample some of the many caches on offer there.
This is the first, a short walk from the Adventure Lab question next door. The bees are still there.
Nice to see the reminder of TST Brandy, which I used to drink when I was younger.
Thanks Bructus

Thanks for hiding. Good to be having a look around the area. Caching with Wollaston and SeasonedBird.
Just had a random meeting with the CO, and then next minute we’re finding one of his hides. On the hunting trail again with SeasonedBird, Liz & Bruce. Blue sky day, so it’s a great day for caching. TFTC bructus

We were so pleased it wasn’t in the other potentially suitable spot that was full of bees! TFTC
With a bench within view,
where a muggle sat still,
we decided to look, open, sign and return.
Muggle still sitting.
Have we provided entertainment/curiosity/nothing!

Very relieved cache wasn’t located in a nearby spot where bees were entering and exiting! Cache log has seen better days but can still write on it. Tftc
Easy find. No pencil. No impressed by the Adult contraceptive as a swap. However left it there as i had a child with me.
Found during a caching tour of Nuriootpa and the Barossa with Team Waldron on a cool and cloudy day made for perfect caching weather. Thanks for the cache bructus!

Another big day out with the Supa's. First the new bike trail and playground in Angaston. Now it's caching on the way home. Thanks
Stopped by here on a short detour while in my way to Swan Reach for the weekend. Quick find after dinner at the nearby fast food joint.
Replaced where I found it, but I suspect it is a little lower than it should be.
Thanks for the cache bructus.
