After visiting the Karawatha Forest it was a quick detour here to find this cache TFTC
Today, the plan was mountain biking around Karawatha Forest in Logan, to celebrate the 21st anniversary of geocache *Queens Land* with a scheduled community celebration event. After attending the morning photograph and cake session, I headed out west following the Ironbark Circuit. I then proceeded in a general anti-clockwise direction visiting lat&long junkie's favourite spot / virtual cache, and then riding south on Casuarina Trail, passing the quarry lake along the way. I then rode along the Maculata Trail, completing the Holden series (HS) trail. It was well past lunchtime by the time I finished riding approximately 30 km in distance, and after making a stop in the Kuraby Bushlands, I then found a few oldie geocaches in Karawatha Forest West. I closed out the day with a late lunch stop and a couple of geocaches in nearby Jack Pyle Park.
A rather cool place and I really liked the ying-yang mosaic and themed path. Upon arriving at GZ, I had a quick look around, and then I consulted a few past logs, to note that the cache had been hidden in charcoal. I then subsequently found the cache in a nearby burnt stump. The cache container was rather cracked and damaged, but the logbook appeared to be ok. A CO TLC visit is required here to consider a container replacement. Thanks Alemingkk for the cache placement and ongoing maintenance.

What a lovely path!
Took a while, but we found the log (replacement?) in a different spot to the cache container which was open. Container has hole in it and will need replacing and repositioning by the CO to the intended position.
Found with Graceygirl1234. TFTC

Container has hole in it and will need replacing and repositioning by the CO to the intended position. Currently hiding near another cacher’s log suggestion of “charcoal”.
Ouch! Cool location though. Container had some water inside, but new log was nice and dry within the ziplock. TFTC
Had time to kill. What an interesting path. I just happened to have a zip lock bag and some paper. Tftc.
TFTC smile 6551 out and about with Brislions and miss Millie geo dog on a great winters day
Thank you, Alemingkk, for placing this cache for our enjoyment.

I was out today up on Southside of Brisbane with grannysmith1947 and Miss Millie the geodog. We targeted a few caches today.
21 finds today. 9 Traditional, 3 Letterbox, 2 multi, Earthcache and 2 Adventure Lab with 6 waypoint.
We had a good day
So for the generic post.
Cache a day to keep the doctor away, or is it to keep me sane. No it’s to keep my streak alive. Alemingkk TFTC *550* streak. *3339* Finds

Took the wrong way into cache location lol
Cache requires some loving and a little maintenance as log was a little damp.
Thanks for bringing me here

Found after a play on the exercise equipment. Container still wet. Unable to write in log. TFTC
I spent the last two afternoons in the Karawatha Forest to visit the geocaches hidden here around. First time beeing here I was fully concentrated to get the 2k geocache only. Now it was time for the remaining stashes. Few of them seem to be muggles (dnf was logged there). All the rest could be located and the logbooks signed.
Many thanks to all the owners for hiding and maintenance on their caches!

Found it! Nice easy find to get the kids used to it. Water in the box but we drained it and secured the lid again.
What a great park, and an awesome path. Avoided the muggles that were working out on the other side of the park and headed to GZ. A suspicious pile of logs alerted me to the hide and I soon had the cache in hand. TFTC!
Wandered around for a little with Jodsta83 but then swooped in for the find. TFTC
PS. Container doesn’t close anymore. Could use some TLC. We popped a couple of small logs on it to try and keep it shut for now.

With a thunderstorm rolling in, the park was empty. A quick find once at GZ and signed the log by the giant ying-yang...TFTC!
A few more caches after a morning of tree climbs.
This was a short walk and a quick find.
A persistent dog in a backyard cheered me on
Thank you for hiding

After we stopped checking out the local mansions, this was a quick and easy find. Log was very wet but we managed to sign. Tftc.
Found way back in Jan but obviously got too distracted rubbing my feet to log it!
Out caching with stortigirls and Mr Curious Quest. It was late in the day, but we agreed that we could fit in a few more finds before dark. A quick find here in the fading light. TFTC
A quick find in this pretty spot with Selva Girls and Mr Curious Quest. Tftc Alemginkk
Out with Stortigirls and Selva Girls to do some caching together. The cache was found quickly after a short walk and we added our names to the log. TFTC.
After spending far too long looking around some incorrectly entered coordinates, found it fairly easily with the correct ones
I was out today to pick up a few caches to help towards a challenge cache I am aiming for on an upcoming overseas trip. I was on the hunt to collect caches on their anniversary of placement, and today was the 5th anniversary of this one.
Found a suitable place to park and headed off for a short walk to GZ, passing a couple of muggles exercising on the equipment nearby. A did a couple of laps of the hiding spot before I noticed it (obviously I'm way out of practice). The exercising muggles were passing by a distance away so I had to hunch down while signing the log. With everything replaced as found I headed back to the car to continue my adventures. TFTC

Second time here. Much more success this time. Found it uncovered. Made it a little more secure.
Dashed out here as this is an "R" for the Spell March Challenge. Left my shoes on but still got plenty of texture through the thin soles of my old fake crocs. Went round the path then off to find the cache. Set off the dog nearby while doing the Cooks' tour before setting eyes on it. Like previous finders this was full of water. Emptied it out but didn't have a cloth on me to wipe it out. Log was okay to sign though. TFTC
A very interesting GZ, for sure! Loved getting the shoes off!! Although, we had to get them back on to find the cache. Our GPS was really bouncy here but then began to point us in a different direction and at 8m off we found the cache. The contents of the cache were damp (because the container seal is missing), including the teddy bear, which we've now taken to help dry it out, and from stinking up this current container!
I have been having problems with my feet for a few weeks and with the chance of some reflexology I set sail for this cache. I didn't know what reflexology was but I mentioned it to my wife on the drive and she happily berated me for not trying it earlier. It's one of those holistic practices where you whole body is fixed through your paws. I don't need my back problems corrected, I just need my feet fixed.
As soon as I saw the path, I knew that I would be kicking my shoes off for a trundle but first I had to find the cache. After a bit of looking in the wrong spots I found the bundle of joy and opened it to find water. There is a furry bear toy in the cache which had somehow been spared the tide and the log was OK too. I tipped the water out and went to sign the log but of course had left the pen in the car.
My wife opted to go back to the car to get a pen and this was the perfect opportunity to kick the shoes off and relax. There were certain parts of the track that felt good, and other parts that felt down right uncomfortable. I sent my wife back to sign the log while I waddled up and down the path.
I put my shoes back on, when we spotted the exercise equipment that looked like it had come from a NASA facility. Over we went to see what damage we could do and had a play on everything. Walking back to the car I realised that my feet actually felt really good for the first time in a long time. tftc

A quick night cache in a nearby suburb. A quick walk along the reflexology path, then some bush bashing, set the dog guarians off, but soon had cache in hand. Tftc.
My nieces friend wanted to see what the fuss is about geocaching. Since we were dropping off one of their friends in this area I thought I'd show them before dropping them off. Tftc
Great little pathway here which was sadly strewn with fallen trees and branches after the big storms this week . At GZ I was pretty confident I was in the right spot, but it was another lap before I spotted the cache . The cache had a lot of water in it, so I emptied this and dried things as best as possible. The log was dry in two bags. I signed the log and replaced back into position. Tftc
Out and about in the area today finding a few new caches that have appeared since I was last here or caches that I have missed on previous visits.
A short search before finding the cache tucked away.
I had to explain geocaching to a couple of women having a smoke of the seat near GZ.
Thanks for the cache.

Had to duck out after the footy to get my cache for the day! First day of Spring too! Nice easy find! TFTC
Found cache. No muggles here today just a barking dog. Signed log. Its international find a geocache day for souvenir.t ftc
The reflexology path is a wonderful idea. We all got our shoes off and walked it. Cache was full water so dried off and signed log. Left some fairy dust TFTC
This one has been on my radar for years but somehow never made it to the top of the list.
Today I paid a visit and I admit I didn't remove my shoes but I appreciated the intention.
My phone seemed not to like the area very much and sent me here and there. After a big loop through the undergrowth, we did it all again and this time I saw what I'd missed.
The previous finder did a great job and the contents were dry enough today. All good here so TFTC.

Taking a short stroll while visiting family nearby. Contents rather damp after the weekend's downpour but log still in good condition. Dried everything off before replacing for the next visitor. TFTC
Wow, I don't know about that path. We walked it up and walked it back and my feet hurt! I hope that did me some good as my feet sure were sore. They really appreciated being tucked back in my socks and stuffed inside my big heavy boots. Mr EMC seemed to love it, especially the small sharpish ones. Not for me. I don't go anywhere bare foot so my feet must be woosy. It was great to be shown this quirky path. There was another family there doing the walk and enduring the pain as well. Cache was quickly found. Found another cache all strewn all over the place that looked like dogs had been chewing the outside container. Cache name was Shabby Shacks - looks years old - all mouldy and dirty contents. TFTC Alemingkk and the reflexology.
Found. We didn't have a pen, took a pic of opened cache of owner wants proof, will bring kids back here one day to sign..
Thanks for bringing me to a unquie spot. Shoes off and mocha and i explored. Left TB please stay safe. TFTC
Well I made a massive noob visit today. Got out of the car and realised my phone was flat. That's ok. I sorta know where it was ill just look around. Ah luckily it had been visited recently. Now just to..... Where's my pen! I used what I had. I used my daughters stamp and a pointed stick like a quill and ink. Worth the trouble moving the trackable along
Found this ages ago with Nessie56 but didn't log it, found again today but didn't have a pen...
It is the hottest day of the year so far so we need just a quick find. Got to GZ easily enough only to find that the cache is waterlogged and the logbook unusable. So back to the GeoFalcon for cleaning up and replacement of the log. All signed and returned ready for the next cacher.
Found at 1.35pm on 29th January 2016. TFTC.

Thanks for a nice quick find! Log book is very wet! Also I hide the container a bit better as it was kind of sitting very openly!
A short visit here today, and the council were out with their wipper snippers. They were having a break so I managed to quickly get out the car and take the dog for a quick walk. Soon found the cache and signed off on the log. TFTC Alemingkk
Out early on a Sunday morning with joojoo57 to do a number of caches before we meet up for a CITO event. Quiet with no around, the cache was quickly located. TFTC
Out doing some searching before heading to the CITO event at Calamvale. Thank you for bringing us to this wonderful park.
Wow, this is a hidden little gem. Watch out for Tai Chi class on a wednesday morning. TFTC
While Mr Forbiddenground was around for the weekend the kids and I wanted to have a look at a near by park, whilst we were here one of the geokids wondered if there was a cache here.. So I downloaded the app and checked.. Of course there is!!! Took us a little while, but we got it! Our first find with out Mr Forbiddenground with us
Thanks for bringing me here... As with the previous log, I emptied water from the container but the log is dry... tftc...
Quick find but had to top a lot of water out of the cache, no time to dry it as as it is getting late. Will return again and take my shoes off. It looks great. TFTC
Great little park. The class enjoyed the path and enjoyed finding the cache more! We made our swap and signed the logbook. Thanks.
