Chooo ooo [Found] with dty73 and youban on a caching invasion of Penrith! Chimney needs straightening up!Thanks The Booos!
What an awesome day! Tankengine, Youban and I went and had an awesome breakfast at Percy Plunkett Cafe. The food and service was really good, but the coffee was smaller than expected, but not too bad. After that we got some caches before meeting the rest of the gang (fitzy_1965, minniek, Joolay, contesta, Aquilus1, sacada, GLISS! and Nibletricecakes). We dashed from cache to cache, all we aimed for we found and only had a couple of DNFs. After an all day run around happily caching (only breaking for lunch at Zeus Kebab and Pizza House in Cranebrook Village - which hit the spot!), we headed to the Panthers Club for the event and a well earned drink! This cache: Parked up the road and walked back. Many passerbyers slowing down to watch us. But it was a quick find and we were mainly caught admiring the chimney. Tftc!!!
Reperio 09:46I headed to Sydney today for a few days away, and this time I was joined by a work colleague who had never experienced geocaching before. We took a detour towards Warragamba Dam before eventually making our way to Darling Harbour. No problem here with finding the cache, although the container was full of water. We emptied it out and dried the log a bit, but it was still pretty damp.Gratias The BooosAs a well spent day brings happy sleep, a well spent life brings happy death - LDV
I found it over a year ago with my mates but now every time I drive past it doesnt look like its there anymore I will have check it out again soon
Thanks . found it with my grandson. A bit dangerous to get to located on a corner of a fairly busy road.
Quickly found this one after finding the St. Thomas cache, enjoying exploring the Mulgoa area today, signed log.
OCW frazeydaze around Luddenham, Wallacia and Mulgoa hunting down Booo Booos latest additions to her GFA Series and after looking for some traditional caches.
Loved the old chimney. Thanks for placing this cache Booos.

Another venture out with oldmorty searching for caches by Booo Booo and some in between.
Finished the day looking for a few traditional caches.
Such a lovely spot, and loved the chimney.

We are only newbies so it took us some time, even though the GPS GUIDED US STRAIGHT HERE!
Last cache for the day.
That was the plan, except it wasn't!
After stopping at nearby St Thomas's church where I was really surprised to see the minister is a friend from my youth I drove the very short distance to this spot.
Not many parking options here!
The grass is so long here it took a bit of searching to find the cache, even though the co-ordinates are spot on.
The log was saturated but I returned to the geomobile where I have write in the rain paper so was able to add some for a replacement log.
Another great historical spot!

Quick find, however we did not sign the log as it was completely soaking. Sorry no log to replace it with. TFTC.
Drove here in the Brewmobile Cobb n Co coach for a quick find with a nice view of the lone chimney. TFTC The Booos
Found with EverestHigh and geodog Zelda. Last time we were here it was pouring rain and parking wasn't suitable. Today, with the sun shining and approaching from a better side, we made our way to GZ. It was soon found, but the log is soaked through and difficult to write on. Some TLC is needed please. We saw the lone chimney from GZ. TFTC
A bad GPS lock resulted in me parking some 110m away from the cache and making my way across a bridge in need of both drainage and weed control. Good thing the rain wasn't pelting too hard and not many people were driving at mid-morning.
A straightforward hide, almost in plain sight, but of course I was looking the other way for a few minutes before I turned around and found it. The logbook is full and sodden, I'm not sure if you call what I did with the pen writing, engraving or tearing, but it needs a replacement.
A great artefact to draw attention to. Just driving past you'd either miss it completely or see it for a moment and assume it was just some junk in a paddock. Stopping to look was definitely worth it.

Busy trail bike track near by. Had to stop to tie my shoe to avoid being noticed
We have travelled from Sydney’s Northern Beaches to Emu Plains for a short 3 day caching holiday, staying in a park cabin at the Ingenia Nepean River BIG4 Holiday Park at Emu Plains, and are planning to explore the areas between Penrith and Warragamba, including a stop-off on arrival day at St Marys. Hoping to collect some previously solved Puzzle caches and to also complete the Adventure Labs at St Marys, Penrith and Warragamba. Will also be on the hunt for Natural Wonders and Solar System Wonders, to complete the Wonders of the World souvenir challenge.
Today is the last day of our short Penrith holiday, but before heading for home we will be visiting the Penrith Showground Markets (ended up purchasing a pair of blue Budgies and a pair of Gouldian Finches) before completing the Penrith Tourist Trail Adventure Lab (but sadly ended up DNFing it's associated AL Bonus cache), then caching our way to Mulgoa, and finishing up with some previously solved Puzzle/Mystery caches at Kingswood. This was our 15th find of the day, and 67th find of the holiday.
A nice quick roadside "park & grab" along a quiet road. TNLNSL, and then replaced the cache container as found. The old chimney didn't look too stable, but at least it had it's own little protective fence. TFTC The Booos.

What a cool spot. Never would have noticed the chimney if I hadn't of stopped here. A dozen or more snails have now called the outside of the cache container their new home. Parked about 70m down the road where it was safe to do so. Pen fell out of the pocket somewhere after the last cache so took a photo. Thanks for the cache. TFTC.
Decided to pop out to Mulgoa area today to grab a few quick caches for my daily streak. It was a nice day for a drive out here this was my fifth stop. After grabbing the nearby Historic St Thomas, I wandered straight down and across the road and over to GZ. Nice quick find at GZ, cache and contents in good condition. Thank you for the cache!!
More than just a lone chimney. What a great bit of history.
The land owner pulled up to ask what I was doing. It was easy to say I was admiring his chimneys.
Replaced the ziplock bag which had developed a self ejection mechanism.

There was a sudden rush of traffic as we got to GZ for this one. Glad we could avoid the electric fence. Cool view! Probably would’ve missed it without a geocache here so thank you for placing this one.
A quick easy find on a caching day around Mulgoa.
Thanks for the history.

Nice quick cache on our way to a milestone find. There were a range of fine looking animals in the paddock - i wish we had more time to hang for a bit and admire them ...but today, #1000 awaits!. TFTC signed as The Shoes x3
