Headed for Sedan for a couple days geocaching, mainly working on the On your Bike series. Picked up some others along the way there as well as going home. Found 211 for the trip and caches were in good order unless mention in the logs. TFTC

Out with Geo hubby Animal62 on this stunning Sunday afternoon, collecting a few smiley faces for our maps. The log was signed & dated before all was returned back to its hiding place.

Day 1 of my short Geocaching weekend. Today was Home to Swan Reach and after I finished work packed the car up and off I went. So I did not find heaps today just wanted to get a bit closer to my final destination.
Out exploring a few of the back roads grabbing what caches I could along the way.

Today I joined S.A. Sewer Rats and Ttrogg for a Wednesday Wander starting at Sedan. I picked up a cache or two on the way and then off we set to do the NVRATHM series. Once we got the knack of what we were looking for and where we would find them it was a quick find on most. A couple were a bit sneaky but we did the whole series before stopping for lunch. Time to leave a cache, do some labs and grab a few on the way home too
Had a big DNF here last year. Then a few months later cachers invoke quitter's luck and found it on the way back to their car. So back I came today and made a quick find right where I thought it should have been. Container full or water and log saturated. So emptied and a new container and log left with it for use until the original dries out.
**SA’s Leap Year Event GCA1DNA - keep the date free - 29th February 2024. - BOING**
***Thanks Meatpaws for putting out this cache and maintaining it for our enjoyment. ***

*Another big geocaching trip to Australia with woolwood9.*
Our main focus was the "On Your Bike" Wherigo series but of course we couldn't resist many stops on the way plus other good trails!
SL **tm/ww NZ**
Really appreciate the effort put into this cache.

Gave up and found it on the way to the car. Returned to co-ords.

Despite having a previous finder with me I wasn't able to find this one today. Add me to the list of nooks that can't find a simple 1.5D cache. So days you do - some days you don't.
**Thanks Meatpaws for the search anyway. **

No luck today.
We read some logs but still couldn't come up with the goods.
We'll be back another day.

After finding the previous cache up the road I figured I knew what to look for here. I searched the wrong spots before finding the right one. The log in this one was damp and was falling apart in my fingers, but I managed to make my mark and put it back.

Nomads travelling in their caravan around Australia. We have been on the road since July 2011 and discovered caching in August 2013. We travel with a bunch of travel bugs belonging to our sons and grand children. Where ever possible, we will maintain your cache as we travel.
Staying for the week in Nuriootpa with our friends SnappyTomCats. This week is Streak Week, Day 6, and we are out for the day with our hosts.
I was looking on the boundary, but Mr D found it on Boundary Road. Thanks for the cache Meatpaws

Again sorry for late reply. Log was missing but has now been replaced. Thank you **Jem** for letting me know
A quick road side stop.
A big day out today with a total of 47 finds, all found all over the place, from Brighton in Adelaide to blanchetown through the Barossa and the back roads. Not the best day to cache with continual rain though.
Thanks for the cache

You bastard! I searched absolutely everywhere for this high low in out shake it all about everywhere. Then I looked at something and thought I wonder if? Lo and behold there it was I was on my way back to my car giving up. It's a bit hard for people like us who have awful GPS so the only clue I'm going to give people is do not go through the gate!
Nice easy find with shetland. Sneaky! Great day for a country drive after lunch at wolf blass. TFTF!
We are nomads. Having left Perth WA in February 2014 we now live in our caravan and go wherever the will or caches take us.
Now visiting in Tanunda, today we set about exploring the area using Geocaching as our guide.
With a late start it was midday before we finally set off. Sun shining 18degrees but alas by the time we made our return it was drizzling for our last few finds.
We were also running out of petrol with the orange light on but we kept going for just 1 more. Lol. All caches were found in good condition making it a very enjoyable day out caching.

Visiting Mum (hevwalker) in Mount Barker for the week so geocaching was undeniably on the cards.
Today we visited the Barossa Valley.
Wandered aimlessly for a while. The GPS was giving us the run around. Soon discovered this not so sneaky cache.

A day off and with my daughter & granddaughters (TT016) visiting, we decided a trip to the Barossa was today's adventure...
A little bit of a wander around in circles but eventually spotted it...I was looking on the wrong side...
Thanks for replacing the log roll...

Haha. Mum loved this one. Nice tricky hidw in middle of no where. Not easy for the vertically challenged.
Quick find on our travels around the area with Mattycat, much quicker find this time was in the first place we checked even by torchlight TFTC Meatpaws
Yup. That's a boundary.
Nanos have their place, but out in the beautiful open spaces...... Nooooooooooo!!!!!!!
On an over the hills run with Mr Froghoppin for some escape from the Adelaide rains.

After a visit to the Nuri Markets for breakfast we headed for the country roads. Thanks for your cache Meatpaws (comment to a previous finder - if you don't sign the log you cannot claim the find).
Found on my way home from a day in the Murray mallee area. Thanks for the cache Meatpaws!
Nanos in the bush get a bad name and for good reason. However this is one that justifies the occasional use!
**this is a late log** I have recently made a major upgrade to my GSAK license and found this lovely feature that automatically tells me what caches I have marked found in GSAK but never logged on geocaching.com!! Yay, Clyde, you can have my money anytime! The caches I am logging in this batch were ones I found on a random day meeting Moneydork out near Sedan for a series that went offline sadly before I got to log it (adults behaving badly). Thanks to Hurtle for flagging one of these where he noticed my name in Moneydork's log but that I hadn't logged it -- this enabled me to locate the other non-defunct-series caches we found that day to go into my stats. In an interest to get completely caught up, I am logging my past finds in bulk. I still have work to do after this, as I need to locate my notes from all of my earthcaches, but once those are in, I should be very close to current. I appreciate all the effort you go through to create and place your hides and do not for one second take it for granted, I just need to get caught up so I can return to my once pleasant logs. Cheers!
I arranged to meet SEMIK in Cambrai in order to complete the BM series together.
We then travelled back to Adelaide via the Barossa and completed this cache on our way.
I apologise for the generic log.

TFTC. Found on a slightly miserable day (drizzling rain) with imnotlostimexploring (my brother). Had a great day caching out near Sedan and Moculta. Thanks for bringing me out here.
Touring the back roads, I ended up at this junction.
Peace and quiet surrounded me in every direction
A poke around for a cache revealed nothing !!
Well it had been found a couple of days ago, so it must still be here
And it was ....
.... cache blindness had struck again

Spending Good Friday out geocaching. Found after some searching. Sneaky little thing. TFTC
Out with locus, clare007, 3LG and Earthlight for a day of caching. We attacked the Barossa region knowing that everyone would be able to get their fair share of caches. One of our party left at around four in the afternoon due to pre-existing commitments while the rest of us charged on to just before midnight, at which point we shut down the GPSr and made our way home. A great day with this one easily being my busiest caching day in terms of finds.
This find was number 72 of the full 99 for the day. TFTC Meatpaws!

Enjoyed the sunny weather caching convey with Earthlight, RideTheGeoWalrus, 3LG and Locus Cache [^]
We left Kaye on the outskirts of Sedan as she rushed home for another engagement and squeeze the remaining people in one car
Great spot for a quick stop and some history.

Clear skies to Meatpaws from TeamAstro.
Quick and easy drive-by. Probably could've reached this one without getting out of the car if we'd have parked in the right spot. TFTC
Nannos on such structures can be scary but thankfully Jeremiah Bullfrogs keen eye soon spotted the cache. Thanks.
We were also interested in the trail markers close by and must find out more about them - how long the trail is and where it goes

Headed out to A Pub Lunch In The Barossa with firesafe and Honeysucker.
All up, I managed to score 44 smileys and only 2 DNFs except we managed to locus cache both of those on our return visits to GZ
What a fun day, great food, great people (as always) and lots of caches plus some very slippery mud, too
Guess who found this one[?] Not the boys who had been paying me out all day as they had found most of the morning caches but when it gets dark, locus gets finding

It was a cold and wet morning and this one eluded us for a while. Then we had a closer look where I figured a micro might be and voila! There it was. This is one of my favourite sorts of caches. A micro in a scenic spot.... Tftc Meatpaws
Nice one amazing how something so obvious can be hard to find Thanks for the journey
A quick find with AussieM&M as we slid our way around the muddy roads!! Thanks meatpaws for the hide!!!
