#21549 @1220A day trip to Sydney from Canberra to pick my son up from the airport. Cached my way there. Cache easily found. TFTC.
Found on a daytrip from Canberra to Robertson with sebass19. Attention to all future visitors to the Southern Highlands: bring Aerogard or Deet to avoid ticks! I had 2 latch onto me today, thankfully I had special tick tweezers. I was surprised to find them in this part of the world!.Nearly missed the turnoff but there's plenty of places to turn around! Very quick find at GZ, we just needed the GPS to orient itself properly. TFTC The Bushies!
Loved the container!!

Out for a drive with Just a cacher and dropped in to grab this one as we passed by.
Jac spotted the likely hide as we pulled up and we soon had the cache in hand.
Thanks for the cache The Bushies.

#7764 (12 of 24 today - including 10 Adventure Labs)
Third of four consecutive days where I have been severely lacking in cache numbers. I've remedied that somewhat so far with 10 and five finds, but why get by when you can spectacularly overdo it?
So overdo it I did!
Started with four WhereIGos, then some traditionals (DNFed one of them and a multi soon after), then 10 ALs and finished with a puzzle and a multi I did find!
Probably could have fitted in more finds if I'd hit the odd powertrail, but a few of them are still there for the taking in the future.
Good productive day out - and not too many muggle issues either.
###END OF CUT AND PASTE SECTION###
Unlike my last attempt on this series, I spotted the camo from 10 metres away.
Quick find, sign and replace. Then time to head back for some Adventure Labs before turning for home.

###ADVENTURE LAB FINDS###
Once back in Bowral I completed these Adventure Labs:
#7765 - The Gardens
#7766 - The Community
#7767 - The Rotunda
#7768 - The Sculpture
#7769 - The Festival

We drove down this isolated road with no-one in sight and parked close to GZ, where I could see where the cache would be. Thanks for the hide.
On a spontaneous caching trip to the highlands with Yarra, we were greeted with a chilly day. While our spirits were high in the search of smiles, the weather soon saw us chasing quick finds while we waited in the hope that the weather would warm up

Quickly found on the way to Robertson for lunch.

Streak day 66
Below is a blurb about us.
We are trying to get a badge from Project-GC for writing found log files of 100 words or more. Once we get this badge we will stop writing this. We are also trying to
get badges for adding photos to our found logs.
We Started caching in December 2019 and by January 2020 we were hooked. As we are on the road full time (living in a caravan), caching fits in well with this lifestyle.
It is taking us to places that we would normally not have gone.
When we move to a new place we also look at what caches are in the area and how many days we will need to be there to get the caches we want.

Today we made our regular trip to a family member down the coast so along the way we went looking for a cache for the day and in the process missed 3 and eventually found the 4th one we went for so it was a slow morning for us.
This was a miss after spending some time looking and many tress and rechecking all that we had checked we eventually decided to call it a DNF and moved on again.
Thanks to The Bushies for showing us the area.

Thanks The Bushies for the cache, anyway

Cache was a bit exposed but ok.

#5191 2nd for today
Day one of the Oz Geomuster Mega at Cataract (the Gong). Traveling with mtrax & CBRChic to the event. Today was rather damp and there was rain on occasions, but nothing too heavy. But it's always pleasant traveling through th southern highlands. We dropped into Fitzroy falls and had lunch in Robertson on the way. Eventually we decided we needed to get a move on to make it to our accommodation at Appin.

Found quickly on the ground out in the open. Pretty sure it’s not meant to be there so returned to “two types”. Might want to check it. TFTC
If I have to climb then the difficulty rating is out. Going to call this gone/missing/not located as after 15min of 2 pairs of eyes looking, this easy Park and Grab proved not so easy. Would be interested in the next person who finds this messaging me their result.
It was more country than western. We rounded it up fairly quickly. I just started on this series on the day I was going home to Sydney, after an enjoyable weeks holiday in the Southern Highlands. I'll have to come back to complete the series. OCW MaxAdventurer and Baxter360. TFTC The Bushies
OCW marj01. Todays plan was to visit the Moss Vale area and complete the Yarrawa Road Trail and the Forgotten Australian series, then grab any other caches we could on the return journey back to Sydney. This slippery little sucker was found without much effort. Thanks for placing this cache.
Found on the 15th of May while travelling towards and around Robertson. TFTC!
Quick find while passing through today. Thanks The Bushies for placing & maintaining this cache.

Found it! Recent tree maintenance left the cache out in the open, tried to hide it best we could.

Last night a last minute plan was hatched to take a caching run to Nowra! So this morning we (Tankengine and I) headed off bright and early! Had a great run, through the Southern Highlands and down the escarpment into Nowra. Found a total of 35 caches, and 2 DNFs. Cant complain about that. Love this corner of Australia - thanks Tankengine for the compant, and thanks for the cache!

Doing some work, and was brought to this area today! Great find during my break!
We headed out on a geocaching weekend with Rapidlywild to collect the new puzzle trail in Helensburg and others along the way. The weather was not kind on Saturday on our trek up, in fact it was downright revolting at times, but we persevered through the rain, flooded roads and detours to collect the smileys.
After a full day and night of caching and grabbing a few hours sleep, we woke to a lovely sunny morning, so we collected a few more around Cronulla before starting our return leg to Canberra. On our way home we decided to return to an area which the last time we visitted had been flooded, so we called past and collected the ones that we previously DNF'd.

On our way home from an unsuccessful hunt! Called in just in time for a train to go past. Easy find, great clue!
On my way to Wingello for my own event weekend. Stopped off and grabbed this one.

Found with 'sesblocker' on our way back to Sydney after a weekend in Robertson.
We headed out today to do a scenic loop starting by heading up saddleback mountain road, up through Jamberoo, my what steep roads, glad we left the geovan in the caravan park, visited beautiful waterfalls, kangaroo valley and back down a steep descent Kangaroo Valley Road and of course finding geocaches on the way. This was one we found. A quick find. TFTC
Well what a great day geocaching! Finalf29 and I went to grab a couple of puzzles I'd finished and to show a friend what geocaching is all about. With such a beautiful afternoon we just couldn't stop and ended up getting sixteen from sixteen, with the last one found in the dark!
This was my twelveth for the day. We had just realised at our previous cache that our fuel light was on...but for how long we didn't know...we were on our way to Robertson to fill up, but couldn't resist a quick detour to grab another cache...you know how it is. I used to occasionally catch a train home from Wollongong Uni along this line, that was in the mid eighty's. It was a single carriage passenger train (rail motor) and the driver sat in the same open area as the passengers, with a sign above him saying "Don't speak to the driver". I had not met Finalf29 yet, but little did I know he was working along the Unanderra - Moss Vale line as a signalman during this time...at Dombarton and Summit Tank...small world! Thanks

A fairly quick find, but getting a hand onto the cache took a bit of effort. I signed the log and we were back on the road in no time.
Thanks The Bushies.

Ticking a day and some numbers off the calendar, did a quick run around Robertson and collected (among others) seven of the U/MV Line series. All easy and no sign of any cars/muggles down any of these side tracks once off the highway. Spotted container quickly from the right angle but getting to it was a bit trickier if I didn’t want to get covered in scratches. Only GZ I actually saw a train pass but I was so hidden, they had no idea I was so close to the tracks.
