Great clues. We're getting the hang of this movie solving! Quick find at gz. All coords have been spot on for this series. Much appreciated. Now to go back and have another look for #2.

A long weekend and another trip with the geo 'rents and geobro'. What a cool way to spend Easter Cool
Headed for Albury for 2 nights and then Bendigo for 1 night and we took each day as the caches came. A turn here, a turn there, a dirt track here and there and miles and miles of bitumen [^]
LOL, I've just seen one of geobro's cache logs and it reads very much like mine SurprisedWink
Although he forgot to mention that he not so kindly shared his viral germs with geomum and I! [xx(]
Today (day 2) I found 76 caches Smile and had 4 DNFs Sad

Unless mentioned otherwise, please know that your cache and log book was in good condition.

Now this is bloody fantastic caching at its best! [^] Cool [^]
Bush tracks, great caches with an interesting theme, a puzzle at the end that anyone can solve and lots of laughs and memories as the questions were answered. Cool
The very high highlight of our day which is probably going to be the highlight of the trip [^]
Thankfully between us we had enough phone reception and enough memories to be able to solve the puzzle while finding these caches so we sure as anything weren't going home without finding it, too! Cool

Wow - we absolutely loved this series, which we visited in the dark. TFTC.

We're off on a four day geofamily (Geodad: moneydork, Geomum:Tounga, Geosis: locus cache and geobro: ME) road trip adventure heading to Albury and Bendigo. A lot of miles were covered, many sights seen, lots of laughs, mirth and merriment during the trip. Oh, we found a few caches along the way as well.

Teamwork came to the fore in this series. I'm not a movie buff but as an administrator I collated the information and 'calculated' the final coordinates. The others identified the movies and provided the right answers.

Geodad promised us a lovely sunset from the top of the hill. We arrived in time to see the last faint glow of the sunset wink out.

Thanks for the cache and series RoJenTil.

Went to find the rest of this series and came across 'skullracing' hiding a new cache. Was pleased because he offered 4WD transport to difficult areas I would have had to walk. [^] Thanks! A nice afternoon finding the movie info. A great series. SL TFTC. Big Grin

#1278 9th of 33 finds today as we enjoy a day off work in the Yak area. We absolutely loved doing the Movie Mayhem series, collecting the well constructed and fun clues along the way whilst enjoying the drive and walks in the bush. We parked the geojeep near #3 and stretched the legs by doing #4, 5 & 6 on foot, the others were completed by driving as close as possible. Because we did them out of order and then had phone reception issues we didn't calculate the final until we were down in Yak township. As a result we will complete the final another day soon. All hides were located without issue and all in good condition. As an appreciation to how much we enjoyed the series and the puzzles along the way to calculate the final, we are awarding each cache with a fave point. Thanks and well done RoJenTil.

Quick find here for CybergranV, SOl de lune, and myself as Muggle Hubby parked us close again. Now, back to the last in the series for us.
Thanks again RoJEnTil

The big bucket of popcorn is empty as is the giant cup of coke, time for intermission and a journey back to see if we can guesstimate the final position from what info we have already gleaned, without having to backtrack to Take 1. It was not to be. We have to return to collect the final clue.

Next find in the series for the team of Cybergran V (with muggle husband who doing all the driving), Bogonghazy and myself as we headed up to try our luck with this series.

Parked the car and walked into GZ, passing a giant X on the ground (well spotted Cybergran V) that would be the ultimate location for a cache, but I figure the cache was placed before the said X came into being. Anyway, number 6 in the series was found and all was good.

Thanks for this one RoJenTil...

[:(!] Took two of my geograndsons for an afternoon of caching and this was one of them, parked the geoKa as close as possible to GZ and walked in from there, on arrival at GZ it was a race to see who was the first to locate its where abouts, unfortunately it was not me but one of the geograndson and in a matter of minutes it was in hand.

Distance from original: 1221 feet or 372.2 meters.
Updating coordinates. Taken off line due to CFA burns in the area. Discovered that the hiding place for this cache has been destroyed and so cache has been relocated to the new coordinates.

Sorry guys but due to planned burns by the C.F.A. in this area, between late March and the end of May, we have had to remove this cache for storage until its safe to return.
Hope you all understand and we look forward to replacing all of them when the danger has passed.

What a great series of caches and very well themed. Smile
We were out and about with DazRascal doing some cache maintenance nearby and made use of the 4WD to grab this series which Daz was more than happy to do again.
Our last one before the final.
One of the GeoKids wanted part of the cache as a swap, so some serious persuading was done and another swap was made. Phew!

Many thanks for a great series.

OK, this one looks like a bit of a walk - no doubt it will be all the way UP there. Let's go. SL at 4.50pm Know the Movie here also - For a couple of oldies we are doing well - only one we have not seen in the series of 6. Thanks for the variety and the innovative clues along the way. #2015 TFTC RoJenTil - now it is back down to find Take #1 as we make our way home from todays adventures.

Any suggestions for a parking WP?

# 4250. Out on a beautiful Spring day with Robmc and chewinprickles and hoping to finish off this series that we started recently. It was busy in the bush today with noisy trail bikes zooming around. Mmm it was a bit of a hike to this one and I certainly wouldn't like to be taking my Mazda 6 to any of these trails through here. My mechanic would kill me when its next service is due. Not for the faint-hearted some of these tracks and certainly not 2WD. Took note of the great clue and back we went to the car to try to work out where the Mystery might be lurking without the benefit of knowing the answer to #4. On Ozi got something that looked good so off to GZ we go (we hope). TFTC

A nice sunny day driving the back roads and taking in the views with Bettyboo3747 and Chewinprickles.
The last in the series, and a short walk up the hill.
We wondered if one of these would be included. None of us could remember the answer the answer to the clue - phone came in handy.
Everyone one said "Oh Yes" when the name was read out.
Thanks, Robmc.

Nothing like a series to get you motivated. Nice one thanks.

Wow. Gotta know where this is to find it! Chooksta nearly got eaten by Kookaburra's and Wombat's.

15-Sep-13
great cache and a nice little stroll in the bush to get to it .
The last one in the series had a great day cruising around in the bush on a lovely spring day , will be back to finish off the puzzle another day.
Cheers RoJenTil for a great day out.

#4577 Time was running out but Dad decided to continue on to complete this last cache before the Unknown - it will wait for a family trip to the area (hopefully this coming Saturday). As is our way, Dad took the hard route to GZ which was through bracken but found an easier way back out Wink. It was quite dark by the time this cache was found, Dad had left the parkers on on the Triton in the hope that it would be easily located on the way out - that wasn't the case Big Grin. Funny how you can find a 2L sistema container but not a 4WD! WinkBig Grin Nevertheless Dad located the well hidden cache and collected the final clue. Our thanks to RoJenTil for the caches placed and for the series which highlights some well loved movies in our household. Pleased to say that the Triton was eventually located too so Dad could make his way home. Cheers [^]

#2550 5:28 PM

With the last of the fading light it was on with the raincoat and head torch to trek off to find the cache.
There was still enough light to see the way, but the thick fog obscured anything that might have been a view (if there is one here). Actually took my time with this one to admire the surrounds I was in, its not often your out bush at this time of evening, and with the recent rains everything was nice and lush, and the smell of the wet bush was refreshing.
I could imagine this would be a good spot to find some of the wildflowers that grow along this range.
Enjoyed the walk to this one, but next time I'll remember to waypoint where I parked the car to make it a bit easier to get back after dark Smile

TNLN, TFTC, Cheers.
