Sadly after 7 years we have to archive this popular cache. The bolts on tube have been replaced so container no longer sits unnoticed. Kiwi864
I looked all down the sides and behind poles even using the image in the comments but could not find
Great little cache.

Me and a friend have been looking fod this one for awhike. 3rd time is the charm.
It was getting pretty late by the time we arrived in Christchurch and we were just grabbing a couple of caches on the way to our accommodation. We did not realise that this pathway existed, what a great idea to be able to get all the way to Riccarton via a bike path. Nobody else around while we were here, we discussed how busy it must be sometimes.
We soon arrived at gz and gk found the cache immediately. Took a bit of convincing for it to let go so that we could sign the log.
Once it was signed the cache was returned as we found it.
Thanks for placing the cache and thank you for the smiley

Ooooo clever, GPS was playing up a little but used my geocaching intuition.

Second one in over a year. Used to always run down here to netball on sturrocks rd. Tftc
Meeting in this neck of the would meant that I had a chance to look for some caches in the area! Quick find after my two colleagues whizzed passed on their bikes having a laugh at me! TFTC!!
With a bit of spare time today and at a loose end I visited this cache and found it! Thanks Kiwi864, your cache is in good condition.
On my way to lake Pearson for the weekend and had a bit of time up my sleeve before picking up jessflett so a good excuse to grab a few city caches .
Last one for the moment...boys and I had a look for this at the weekend but my phone was playing up....not today nice easy find luckily I hadn't looked there before tftc

Heading up to CHCH with KJR for a make shift mega as there wasn't one planned in the south island this year. Stayed in Temuka for the night with some friends and pasted this one the next morning on our way up to CHCH. Nice and easy find TFTC
Heading to Christchurch with Gadget169 to meet up with some Dunedin/Invercargill cachers for a long weekend geocaching adventure. Found upon our arrival into the Garden City TFTC
A short and pleasant stroll down from Tuckers Road end, quite a busy track today. Cheers
A relatively quick find on a sunny Sunday afternoon, after earlier rain. Log a bit damp. Added a fresh plastic bag. TFTC
After I had either not found or not attempted a few caches earlier I found I needed just one more before I headed for where I was staying. Thats how I ended up here. Nice quick find which was just what I needed to finish off a long day. TFTC # 14,449
In Christchurch for a family catch up so took the opportunity for a few finds while the family is asleep back at the motel. TFTC
After striking it out (DNF'ing) on two nearby playground caches, I was really hopping this one wasn't going to be a 3rd strike for the morning. Fortunately I was successful and located the hide and cache quickly. Log signed, cache returned as found.
Many thanks for the hide. Just down from Wellington for the day to sort out a few bits and pieces and fitted in some caching before the first task for the day.

Nice quick find before the rain, once I kicked my search brain into gear.. TFTC. #614
Well. Finally. After 3 attempts on my way home from work I finally find it. GPS took ages to settle which is why I think I couldn't find it on earlier visits. Tftc
We are staying at Mrs Sobad's cousins and we all wanted a walk after breakfast. Of course, a walk with a cache on the way is always preferable and so a route was chosen by our cousin with this in mind. Back now to log on line as we had a morning coffee.
Thanks.
Thanks.
TFTC. Nice hide. It was great to discover this bike path. A shame one of the family stood in some poo at GZ!
Nice spot a few back and forth walks till brain kicked in after I was moving stones
In Christchurch for Queens Birthday weekend, easy find while in this area. Thanks Kiwi864 for the cache.

Weather was terrible today, rain, wind and cold coming in from all angles.
I was in Papanui and chose this as the cache to go for the day - not too much of a walk and no stepping on wet grass or mud.
Nice and easy find on a short dog walk.

Almost thought I was going to have to give up...but we hit jackpot at last! TFTC and Happy Easter!
An early morning stroll from our CHCH accommodation in search of a playground for the kids. QEF, all in order here. TFTC
Out and about finding a few caches before I head to work this morning. A cunning hide and one where the cache was a little tricky to get at but I got it in the end. TFTC, Biggles.
Took a few minutes but finally got it. No pencil so took a pic. Tftf. All in good order.
Yay it's finally stopped raining! After looking in a few wrong places I finally clicked on to the last possible option and success! Timed it perfectly between muggles - Pity a train didn't go past, miss 5 would have loved that. Tftc
Today I needed to find 6 caches to bring my total finds for 14 Jul to double figures (10). Decided to target the Papanui / Casebrook area as there were several caches there that StreetWalker had found but I hadn't. Had an extra pair of eyes, as well as navigator supremo, Banahna with me and she safely got me from cache to cache.
The cycle way was deserted while we were there but no doubt it is busy at other times. Didn't take long to located the cache as there are not too many hiding places and the co-ords were pretty much spot on. Nicely hidden. Halfway to my target, three down and three to go. TFTC.

On another great road trip with tmann421 checking out the sights and caches of Christchurch.

Sometimes it's the Sneaky simple ones that earn my respect the most. Perfectly positioned. A fav. Tftc
#12211. The weather was a bit dodgy today, and with a rental place to look at after work I thought I'd make this my cache of the day (I'd sussed out its hiding place a few days ago). Initially my GPSr showed me well away from where I knew I was (it had me on the wrong side of the tracks, by 100m or so). Turning it off and on fixed that, and it turned out I was pretty much at GZ. Nice hide. TFTC.
Jess.daphne and I headed out to pick up some caches on a sunny Saturday morning. This was our first stop. We parked up and headed down the path. There were no cyclists around and after chatting to a local moggy we found the cache and signed the log. Tftc.
Out with injeanious this morning. GZ was empty except for a chatty cat. Found easily. TFTC!

I stopped by this one on a wee maintenance run today. Quick find, once I let a few waves of muggles pass by. All in good shape!
