Out on a bike ride from Murchison to the longest swing bridge I stopped by to seek this cache. Nice quick find. The log is very very full. [xx(] Time it was replaced. Sorry, I had no log paper with me. I just managed to squeeze my name between a couple of others.
On holiday with busy paws and heading to Motueka. Enjoying caching on the way. Easy park and no one here as all walked over bridge. We happily searched and found the cache. Thanks for this cache bumandworker.
Managed to collect this with coconuts3 while everyone else was looking at the water. Cache all safe and dry. TFTH
Quickly located on the way to Westport, this was the start of the testing.

A really really large pull over area - well compared to the rest of the places we stopped today. Zeroed in on the cache immediately and added our names to the log. tftc
Had to wait for elusive break in traffic bit once I did it was a quick find. TFTC
Gps bounced around a bit, but the instructions directed us to the spot

Nice, quiet and quick cache. Great stop to stretch the legs on the way to Motueka from Greymouth. Thanks!
Great easy find. The weather a bit cooler today so no one picnicking at gz even though just on lunchtime. Obviously some mad people have tried to get down to the river, but definitely not me. The cache is lovely and dry. Thanks.
#10173. Day 6 of the South Island road trip around the top of the South Island (Canterbury and Westland) with Infoferret. This trip was planned to replace the Labour weekend Auckland Mega adventure. We have stayed overnight in Murchison and today are heading to Christchurch. The weather has improved in the morning and by time we reached Canterbury it was like a hot summers day.
We are on our way to Lewis Pass now but decided to stop here and find this one. IF had brought coffees and a couple of large scones in Murchsion for breakfast. So used the picnic table for our slightly late breakfast and I wandered over to GZ to make a quick find in the gap between cars travelling along this road. Signed the logbook and replaced where found. Thanks bumandworker for hiding it here.

Quick find here - the container was visible from 10 metres. Signed the log and tucked it back into its obvious hiding place.
On a west coast adventure and on our way to Nelson for a few days . My first time to travel up the west coast of the south island In 20 years so this time we get to cache our way in to uncharted territory, so let's see what fun adventures awaite us bring it on.

Heading towards Murchisons and so excited by actually having signal, that we just had to stop for this cache. We were able to find it without compromising its position, as there was absolutely no one at the picnic area. Nice quick, easy find. TFTC

After a week of work in Hanmer it's time to head home to complete the loop. Time for another stop for a drink. Found the cache in between cars. Back to the vehicle to sign and then replaced in between cars.
Heading home after walking the St James Walkway...looking for caches and trying not to get too wet in the rain...
An 'optimistic' picnic spot on the best of days I'd say. Still, a handy stop off place for those looking for a handy stop off place close to a busy intersection of highways heading west and south.
No one picnicing today so let's see what's over there.
A quick spot on approach.
Thanks bumandworker

Found on my geocaching road trip on the way to Canterbury Faire. Had a chat with some kayakers here
*Thanks for putting out this cache for woolwood9 and I to find!*
SL **tm/ww NZ** (may just be a black smudge on the many wet or plastic logs)
Weather was quite bad again with lots of rain
*We soon had another good cache located!*

Day 6 of my 2020 NZE (New Zealand Experience).
(My apologies for the delayed logging but I'm in catch-up mode)
Seeing as I can't be in America right now, I'm touring around the South Island instead. During my time here I am aiming to find as many of the TMGT caches as I can (preferably all 41) and also as many Virtuals, Earthcaches and Letterbox Hybrids as possible, plus any Trads or others that will fill a hole in my D/T grid, my Jasmer grid, or else the last 3 remaining Hidden Dates on that grid.
Today was going to be a very long drive, going from Westport all the way up to Farewell Spit which is somewhere I have longed to visit for a very long time. I've been close, but never quite made it all the way up there before. The great weather of the last few days continued to follow me around the island too, which always helps set a good mood for a road trip.
Definitely a quick Park n Grab. Found relatively easily and as there were no issues with anything here, the log was signed and everything placed back exactly as found before carrying on with my journey.
Thanks for placing this cache.

On the way from Punakaiki to Nelson we stopped here to enjoy a nice view from over the bridge and search for this Cache. TftC =)
The river is well worth stopping here to look at. Often I stop here to stretch the legs.
Much easier to grab than I thought it would be. I love the deep green water in the river, it looks to be quite deep just here.
Another quick stop and find. Should be home by lunch time the way things are going. TFTC
(# 5448). Today is day 9 of my West Coast trip. Today I am traveling from Westport to St Arnaud. Main goal was the Brunner Peninsula Walk. A quick find. Everything in order. TFTC
On a road trip south, enjoying the day and pic up some caches. TFTC

Meanwhile this is my third geocaching-trip to Middle-Earth . And I love it! [:X]
Still there are routes and places in this beautiful country that are on the 'discover-me' list and want to be visited and explored. .
Today (#26) with again splendid, sunny weather took me on the last long road trip during this vacation:
From Nelson down south-east via Lewis Pass to Christchurch.
Allthough travel time was a limiting factor for caching , there were of course quite some nice treasures [^] along the scenic route [^] that deserved a short stop for a visit - just like this one:
A nice 'BC' on the way .
Thanks to the owner [:X] for placing and maintaining this cache and best regards from Germany!

Ah - memories of slaloms nearby back in the day. GPS didn't really settle, and seemed to want me to look on the wrong side of the road. Eventually worked out which side from the description. TFTC.
I love the river here. Have watched rafters coming through here in the past, but not today.... It's Christmas. Only the odd car and many capervans on the road. TzFTC
22218 Traveling through New Zealand to see nice people and places. Also to find some geocaches.
Today we went from Greymouth to Nelson, via Punkaiki and we had all day, so we made many stops. Allong the road we found many caches, but we also visited the Pancaces and Windholes. The caches brought us to many special remarkable places.
Most caches were found quite quickly. A few took more time. Muggles did not watch what we were doing.

One of the many caches during this year's vacation. Thanks to all of you who contributed in hiding and maintaining those caches. You are those ones who made this hobby possible.
Zara is feeling better so Taybeedragon and I are off to Greymouth to pick her up and find some of those Hidden Creatures. You carved a figure-8, but without the crossover: Blenheim - Greymouth - Westport - Nelson - Blenheim. Left work early but it was still late at night by the time we got here. Well, 6pm. Another calendar day ticked off, only 27 to go. And hey! Look! a fairy!
Zara is finally out of the AA Hospital in Greymouth so its time to go get her and with the Critter series an opportunity to snag a few caches in the coast. Grab The Seagnoid at 3.30 to head south. He needs a cache today so for one an easy cache in the dark is welcome. Some snow along the roadsides around St Arnaud and misty patches through the gorges. TFTC. Cheers
After consulting which way to go next we decided to give this cache a bash. Saw a small "bird" by the picnic table but after a bit it registered what small birds have longish skinny tails - that wasn't a bird - twas a mouse eeek. Found cache after Mr retrieved (spider webs). All in order - now off to our next spot. Ps just watching some tourists cross the barrier to take photos in the middle of the bridge *sigh* they may as well have had had headphones on in rush out all the attention they had for the traffic..
Thanks for this one, too, B& W.
Quick find; nice to have WiFi back again. I've really enjoyed the drive from Reefton at a leisurely pace; much increased volume of traffic as I sat here for a little while.

A quick cache and dash whilst passing on route to Nelson. Thank-you bumandworker for placing this cache for our enjoyment. Out caching with Will of the Wisp on our “Round the World in 80 Days” trip to celebrate retirement. Signing logs with our names or initials depending on space. Greetings from England, TFTC.
On our journey through Neeseeland we visited many beautiful places,
Again, we could register in the logbook. Thanks for the care and best regards from Germany from the team stierwade
