It looks like this one has broken once and for all. I am surprised how long its lasted.
Thanks to all the finders.
Thanks to all the finders.
The base of the cache is still magnetized to the host but the rest of the cache and log are missing. Needs owner maintenance.
As we arrived Christchurch we made still a little walk beyond our motel. A nice Lab plus Bonus and two tradies could we find.

Looked all around and couldn't see anything, also checked the ground to see if it fell off, but all I found was trash.
Nice quick find while visiting with tmann421 today

Geocaching around Christchurch with woolwood9.
Weather has taken a turn for the worse - lots of rain now and everything wet!
We soon had the container found. SL: **tm/ww NZ**
*Thanks for putting this cache out for us to visit, we enjoyed the drive / walk around!*

Everywhere North of Christchurch had a horrible forecast for the weekend, Christchurch was just cloud with some light drizzle so Nanzie and I decided to come down here for the weekend. While she took Sir Belac and his sisters to get their photos with Santa I popped out to get a few caches and catch up with a friend. Busy road but everyone is going past to fast to notice me. Didnt take long to track down the log. Thanks sharkiefan

Visiting my daughter in Addington for a few days. Headed out on an early morning walk in the drizzling rain. This was the closest cache to her place so seemed rude not to look for it. Not long before I was signing the log. Presently addicted to geocaching but not sure how much desire I have to quit. Thanks for the smiley.
Great hide, excellent use of the container.
I put in a replacement log. Not RITR paper though, so may not last long

Reading the description I was a bit scared to this cache. But I guess my reference for a dodgy neighborhood is very lower than this one . This looked at a regular one for me. Lots of traffic, but easy to retrieve the container, which again was less scary than my expectations. Congrats on quitting! Container starts to get old (one hinge broken) but stills works at the moment. Logbook was in good condition.
Dam pen not working. Great find on the way back to accommodation from bakery across the road.
First cache of the day, and I spotted it quickly but took some time to finish the job as the log was full, and I was ducking away from a car coming out the drive. I added a strip of RITR paper and it’s good to go. TFTC sharkiefan.
A lazy morning with the rest of the tribe out at work, so RG1972 and I went for a walk and took the sister’s whippet with us. We started with the two Addington adventure labs, but collected 3 other caches on our walk today before finding the two bonus ones for the A/Ls. All up 90 minutes moving time and we found all the ones we attempted, so all good. Thanks all COs.

Headed up to Christchurch on Boxing Day for a 3-4 night caching trip, have to be grateful that despite overseas travel plans scrapped for now, we can still move around our beautiful country. Chatting to friends and family overseas, I feel very blessed and want to make the most of our earned freedom. I find caching is a great way to unwind and allow me to recharge ahead of the marathon which will be 2021.
After driving the past couple of days I decided to just enjoy the sunshine and walk around the area and grab some caches. Its an area of mixed property types and you never know what you will find when you turn a corner.
Thank you to all of the cache owners for the caches enroute.
For this cache; would not be allowed under todays rules.

[NZ Mega 2020](http://nzmega.com) is definitely happening, but has been postponed until 2021. It will be held in Auckland over Labour Weekend, 22 to 25 October 2021. It's going to be a massive celebration of geocaching:
* 20+ years of geocaching worldwide.
* 20+ years since New Zealand had the very first geocache hidden outside of USA.
* All the 20s and now 21 as well!
Talk to your geo-friends and start planning to be part of [this event](http://nzmega.com) - you won't want to miss it!

In Christchurch for our five year old grandson's birthday. I was dropped off to walk around this area to find some caches. Thanks sharkiefan for the cache.
Third times the charm. First time couldn't look because of workman working in the area. Came by today and a muggle was loitering close to the GZ, so popped across to the chemist, checked the location when I came out and muggle-free. It was a quick find from there. TFTC Good to turn this into a smile.
Damn, couldn't find today as workmen are busy at work right were GPS said I needed to be. Have to come back another day.
We decided to go out and find some caches on a lovely afternoon. Had planned to find some for the puzzle to spell October plus whatever was on our journey. I did the swagger to get to this one. Clever hide and very happy to find it. Thanks for the cache sharkiefan.
Well done you! Nice quick find here with no one around. First cache on my way home today. TFTC # 13,662
Lots of people around but managed to nab this one without anyone seeing. TFTC
I don't think I have the right body "habitus" for this cache site LOL ! I wasn't game.
After a look at a caravan sales yard this afternoon, stopped to pick up a couple of caches on our way back to base. Found this one without difficulty and with no-one around, other than passing traffic. #2352. TFTC.
Quick trip out to look at caravans and oh yes - to pick up a couple of geocaches while I’m still down here in Christchurch. Very few muggles around as it’s Sunday afternoon. Good hide, TFTC
This is our first cache in New Zealand. So it deserves special attention and a favorite point!
Thanks to sharkiefan for showing us this location and for the fun we had at The power to quit, Bro! (Canterbury). The search we had here today didn't take too much time.
Greetings from Germany and hope to see you soon in the forest.

Sorry for the late logging. I had a great day driving around by myself finding caches to get the souvineers and work towards my MGSc, but not so much logging each of them. The plan was to find as many of the remaining Fresh Breath caches that I hadn't got the previous Saturday as well as any extras that I went past before heading into Christchurch for this event.
With three consecutive dnfs I was desperate for a find so I could head home with my goals for the day completed. There were not many places it could be so with a bit of a squeeze I found it. Relief I hadn't lost my touch completely. I ran back to the car to try and warm up.
Thanks for the cache.

I struggled a little to squeeze into this one but managed to get it. A good urban hide. TFTC
This cache was pretty easy to locate (once I found myself on the right side of the road ), but pretty spooky to retrieve with the constant muggle traffic. I'm glad I was able to fit. Nice cache, thanks
I flew from Auckland to Christchurch to start my 10 days holidays of exploring the South Island. Because I didn't have further plans for that day I did some sightseeing in the city and could find some Geocaches.
Nice hiding place!
Thanks for hiding this Cache!

Found out in the rain after all the sun we have had. Think we were sneaky enough. Tftc
After a shopping tour we stopped here to collect this cache. It took a few seconds to locate it.
Thanks for showing! Tftc

I went for an early morning walk near the motel where I am staying and found a few caches. This was the first one I found. Spotted it from one angle and approached and reached from another. Whew - looks like I need to quit over-eating. TFTC, Biggles.

Never understood why do people start and then continue smoking. I've tried a couple of times, it was too gross to appeal to me in any way.
Stopped by after the Latvia independence day celebrations.

A quick find as we raced from the Latvian Independence Celebration to a punk gig in Lyttelton.
Yes, the power to quit! I am almost 2 years free of smoking. Seems weird now to think that I ever did because it is so gross to me now.

On the last day in Christchurch and NZ I went out to find some caches. This one could be found pretty quick.
Nice hide, was a little worried to go too close but we slipped in and found it. Tftc and congrats on kickin it
The old log is dried out but signed the other in there and returned closed a bit better than it was when I got it. Wouldn't want to be any fatter! Tftc
