With work done for the day, it was time to head back to the ranch via a cache or two. Once at GZ, I soon spotted the higher, larger container then the lower, smaller one. The lower one seemed to be the one to sign which I did at 16:40.TNLNSL, although our BYO pen geocoin had a visit to mark the occasion. Thanks Doodle Bug Oz.**PS:** The lower container has no base but the tension of the logbook holds the log in place. I'm not if that's what's intended but that's the current situation.
Im back in Darwin for a week visiting family and spending a little time each day geocaching. I had been here on a previous visit but there was someone sitting in a car at gz. This little area now has large boulders to stop vehicle access, so I parked across the road. At gz it was a quick find today of the two caches but I only signed one. Tftc
OCW PelDroedGwin and geodog Peppa Exploring the northern suburbs today. A.quick find of two containers at GZ, signed as TB&PDG.Tftc
Good cache took us a minute because we were looking in the completely wrong area but in the end we got to use a new custom stamp, tftc.
Little confused. Found two. One metal had dates from 2014-2020 (perhaps the aclrchived one) Found plastic 2nd one with recent dates. So we wrote on both and replaced.
Headed over to Darwin for a break with tmann421.Really enjoying the weather and the challenges of the hides.Logs signed tm/ww NZNice quick find hereThanks for the cache owners for their efforts
Nice time out with woolwood9 again today. Day 7 of our 9 days in and around Darwin. We had another tough day - lots of short walks in the heat and me pretty slow, having to use 2 walking sticks!SL *tm/ww NZ* *Thanks for the reason to visit this area of Darwin!* Good quick find for us, now onto the next one.

We had a little spare time after arriving, so made the most of the remaining daylight with a few finds in the area.
This was a quick find in between a puzzle and an unloved GA trad cache, no problems here - good coordinates too.
TFTC!

A return visit to Darwin with iluvtrekking after eleven years. Enjoying the mild dry season weather as we explore the city and suburban caches. Thanks for the hide.
Travelling with richlink on a trip from Perth to Darwin and return down the centre. Today, we are enjoying the sights of greater Darwin. Thanks DBOZ.
The road to Palmerston today took us so close to this cache that a short stop was made to visit the box.
Unfortunately only photo evidence of the find, the pen stayed at home.
Thanks for setting and maintaining the cache!

Tftc, a quick find. Container had a tough time in the sun. So I replaced it. Thanks for hiding.
Rocked up at the same time as Security who was closing the gates, he deffinetly gave us a weird look! Nice easy cache, thanks!
We have a friend who works at this most popular of Darwin sites. Although I forgot to check to see if he was at work when I decided to surprise him by dropping by unannounced. Oh well will have to send him a message to say hi.
quick easy park and grab while watching and waiting for the ever passing traffic even on a weekday it was busy.

Out and about, and collecting some hides in a few more suburbs of Darwin.
After visiting Knuckey Lagoon, we came for a drive along the road with no name. Given it has no name, it is still quite popular and seems to have a lot of traffic on it, all with a mission.
We stopped here to collect the hide.
Thanks Doodle Bug Oz

Up from Perth to visit family and of course to geocache! Thanks for the hide!
We revisited this one when we were told by someone who had previously found it that it is indeed missing. We have replaced on behalf of the co.
Will have to have another go at this one.. no luck this time! But good location!
Ok sometimes I wonder if I should do hunt for caches anymore. I was so blind with this one. My muggle hubby found it in seconds. TFTC
A nice quick find at nowhere, Going by the traffic on the road yjeremust be somewhere up the road. TFTC.
Not quite where were expecting to find it but co-ords are accurate. Trailing a length of thin wire, not sure if it is supposed to be secured to something? Replaced where found. TFTC
I looked for this back in February without luck and planned to return much earlier than now but always forgot or put it off.
I’m glad corunnaroad went ahead and replaced it... many thanks....!
Anyway, it’s pretty accurate with the GPS and nicely tucked away in its hidey spot.
Visited 4 TB.

Found this one, GPS was playing up.
This one is very small. Checked the normal spaces and turned out to be in the 6/7th place we thought it would be, don't stick your finger in any posts not a requirement and I found out the hard way there are bites living in there. TFTC

Now visiting Darwin after the Red Centre Experience.
The plan today was to head out for a full day of caching but alas as so often happens we ended up doing jobs this morning and eventually left home, after 10am.
Was a tough day with humidiity and heat, green ants.
Managed to find a few caches and DNF a few more.

Darwin Day 2
Today we thought we would take a morning trip down towards Palmerston. Stopped for a few caches along the way.
Bill wanted to visit the shop at the end of the road but not today.
A nice new log & container here.

Alice trip 2017. Day 18. Today Sol de Lune, Luckyl10n, Fitzy_1965 and I spent the day caching in and around Darwin. For a southerner it was a hot sticky day. Plenty of caches with lots of DNFs but at least it did not rain. Glad to see it was replaced.
Thanks.

Thanks.

Day 2 of our run around town and we managed a few DNF's as well as our finds. This was another DNF added to the listed.
Thanks anyway.....might need be checked.

On our way home from a shopping trip to Casuarina, we were planning to stop off and have a look at Holmes Jungle. We overshot the turnoff, but saw this cache on our map instead. Nice little hide, TFTC!
Quick find after leaving work. Didn't have a biro on me so took a photo as proof.
Needs a new log, as what is there is in pieces.

Out and about grabbing a few caches this morning and it was a busy highway going past this one today. Parking nearby the cache was soon in hand and after signing the log all was returned as found.

The next on this trip. So far managing to average 5 finds per day up here and that will give me 50 and I am happy with that because I am here with Christine and she is not as keen as me and we have never been to Darwin before so we do have to do the tourist things and visit all the sites that interest visitors.
Quick find once at GZ. Signed log YOF as that is what I use on Nano and Micro logs to save space as my caching name in my large hand writing does take up too much space. TFTC Doodle Bug Oz.

Thought it must be there. No it's not! Oh, yes it is!! Great camo - like many others our first of this type.
