Had a quick look while in town for work. Very exposed so didn't want to be too obvious. No luck. Checked activity log and noticed others with DNF.
Went for an early morning run to grab a couple of caches while I was staying in a motel on the Southern side of town all up a 12km circuit but I am glad I made the effort to see Griffith before I left town
Even at 5:30 am I needed to wait for a council worker and a random muggle to leave the site before I made the grab. Thanks
I was hoping to grab the other ones in town but after looking at logs I instead decided to continue up to the hill to grab the geocaching Australia finds

After about 10 minutes and lots of rummaging around the plants we found it. Lest we Forget.
Adelaide trip September 2015. I spend five days driving to Adelaide taking some more remote routes across the river land area and exploring new places along the way. Day 1. Today was spent traveling and caching from Canberra to near Balranald. I stuck mostly to roadside caches until I headed off the main route to visit Yanco and Griffith.
Thanks.

Found by Sunshine Toledo and Her Majesty at 9:10am. That took a few minutes to find. TFTC
Yay! Finally got one today. Place a swapable. Easy find. Coffee time KMMP+MMH
A very muggly place but a cacher has a legitimate reason for being here. Spotted straight away and soon got an opportunity to grab it. No log book just a few names scribbled on the back of a caravan park receipt. Thanks.
Took a little walk around town after very nice Italian biscuits and coffee at Bertoldos. What a very interesting memorial, great stories - had to look hard as all the Rosemary bushes had grown wild - GeoMan with long arms retrieved it.

Finally found one that hasn't been muggled and ignored for ages. My brother and his family have lived here for years but are now moving to NZ so this is my last chance to clear out the area. Took a bit of hunting but made the find using Google maps and compass in the end. Tftc
Little bit of scrambling about to find this one, good find in the end! TFTC
3374. Found by baby&Mrs gopher at 1430. A quiet Saturday afternoon today. searched each of the the plaques as we read them. Found the container at the last one. The 2 soldiers stood proud in the light of the clouds and sky. A favourite point from us. SL Tnx GHS Nerdinators.
TFTC,
With ANZAC Day just around the corner, this visit is well timed.
After attending the Oz Mega 2014 Event it is time to head home and grab a few caches along the way using a random stop every 1/2 hour system.
Visiting a few caches around Griffith brings back good memories of when I lived here in the late 70's and early 80's.
Visited a group of trackables.

Nice monument and the plaque reading explained all the history.
Many thanks for the cache.

[:(!] Over from Perth and after visiting our geoson (RevolutioSolutio) and his family in Adelaide for a couple of weeks over the festive season, we are now visiting another one of our sons and his family in Griffith, in the morning I hopped on my geobike and picked up a few caches in the area and this was one of them, on arrival at GZ the cache was in hand in a matter of minutes.

We drove over to Griffith for the day to do a bit of caching and eat gelati. Read some interesting history combined with searching for the cache. A very busy spot at lunchtime on a Monday. TFTC GHS Nerdinators
This one was hard to do on a Saturday morning - signed log , took yoyo and left penny - TFTC
Plenty of plaques to read while scouting for the cache. Ended up spotting it while reading the fourth plaque. TFTC!
Muggle Ruth was laughing so hard at me ratting around then said "what is this container??" Arrr TFTC
2368. Mmmm, very interesting. I believe I have visited this place before, see now archived GC42TDA. Anyway, back again. Could this be a *FTF* and first to log it on the GC site. Not sure really as there a few names in the log book but is this a recycled cache?.
A nice quick find on a sleepy Saturday morning. TFTC.
