Thanks Hurtle for placing this cache and for the ongoing maintenance. Find #10658 on 2/11/2024 at 8:27AMA plan was hatched to ride along the Riesling Trail and collect a few caches. A delightful day in the company of Cheezel and Jolly riding along and signing logs. This is a special place, very enjoyable. We also collected some others that were nearby or along the way.
Found easily from the right angle and I love these old buildings. I would really enjoy the project of a restoration. Just not the expenses
Without thd cache I would not have spotted this one. TFTC hurtle, good reason to stop and think of the state's pioneers. Cheers.
Heading off to help a friend with a days work and realised we should grab a cache for a souvenir today.Quickly found and signed this one at 7.50am.Now off to work we goMany thanks for the hide Hurtle
Travelling with iluvtrekking from our home state WA. Today moving from Clare to Nuri caching along the way. Glad to collect another smiley here. Thanks Hurtle
Found with richlink as part of our Annual Caravan Geocaching Trip.We are on the move again, moving from Clare to Nuriootpa. Thank heavens the day is a little warmer. Thanks for the cache Hurtle.
Clare and Gilbert Valley caravan trip. Day 1 - to Farrell Flat.We were planning on driving straight through to Farrell Flat, but the urge to have a roadside pitstop took over just outside Tarlee. We checked the map after we stopped and saw there was a cache 80m behind us. What an omen!We wandered back to grab the cache and noticed many bottles and cans on the side of the road. Doing a return CITO on the other side of the road, we found 30 bottles and cans in the 160m trip!TFTC
We are one our way to Adelaide for the leap Year Mega. After an early start from our overnight accommodation, we set off to find the caches on our target list. All caches were found and signed as "5 for QLD" for our traveling group of hatzofff (myself), RoddyC, Imbunda, Snickersallan and grannysmith1947.Today we finally get to Adelaide after a mammoth trip! The last of our target caches and LGAs before caching in and around Adelaide before the Mega.
An early morning start after our overnight stay. I am traveling with my friends, hatzofff, RoddyC, Snickersallan and grannysmith1947. We are signing all logs as "5 for QLD" to save space. All caches were found, signed and replaced as foundAfter a big day yesterday, today we are logging selected caches around the outer Adelaide area.
TFTC smile 18730 Out and about on a lovely day Having a great time finding a few caches heading to Adelaide for a few weeks then on our way to Canberra . Signing as 5 for QLD - Hatzofff Snickersallan RoddyC Imbunda. What a great team we made and lots of laughter and fun. Ah, today we have our third day in South Australia. Thank you Hurtle for placing this cache for our enjoyment [:X]
A Leap Year Mega draws us to Adelaide. Today's our intrepid group arrives in South AustraliaWe are using the Acronym 6 for QLD to sign the log sheets. Most of the caches this day were nice quick finds. And so happily I say that the logs were signed and caches replaced as found on this day, 27th February 2024. TFTC, Hurtle.
Decided to do some caching from Tarlee to Gawler which included a couple of adventure labs. TFTCFound quickly.
Continuing my South Australian adventure. Today, I headed north with a particular cache in mind. I was headed back to my accommodation and stopped off to find a few caches along the way. Here, a quick find was made. With my name added to the log and everything returned as found, I continued on my way. TFTC
Easy find, as unfortunately the cache was exposed - I placed camouflage over it when returning cache, so not so easy to spot.Nice ruins, it would be interesting to know the history of it.
Another find on our way up to Burra for a short break. Nice old ruin, this was the first of many, many ruins on this trip!TFTC Hurtle
This one was a little harder to find as there were so many places to hide a cache. We were also wary of snakes. It was another case of trusting the GPS and narrowing down GZ. Soon enough naughtybunny and I had the thing in our hands. Love the numerous old ruins as we headed out to Burra! TNLN. Cheers.
It seems the hide has been destroyed, by searchers? On side of the highway, in that spot, hard to believe it the work of muggles... lol
Cache replaced using the remnants of the stump for cammo.

The cache appears to be in need of owner intervention.
I am temporarily disabling it, to give the owner an opportunity to check on the cache, and take whatever action is necessary.
Please respond to this situation in a timely manner (i.e., within 28 days) to prevent the cache from being archived for non-responsiveness.
If you require more time please be sure to post a note (not an email) explaining the situation and how much more time you require.
For ongoing issues please ensure you visit the listing and post a new note every 28 days to keep everyone up to date or the cache will be treated as an abandoned cache and archived without further notice.

Came and saw but left empty handed. Found a spot that matches the hint, but is badly rotted away. Thanks anyway.
Had a good look, found a suitable spot, but no container
Out caching with D@geo looking around S.A
Thank you anyway for the hide, just not today Hurtle

As a kid, when we came through Linwood Bridge it meant we were nearly home .
Happy childhood memories.
After a big walk yesterday (27kms), today we decided to go for a bit of a drive around rather than a walk!
TFTC
Keep smiling

Quick find with Maxyl on our way back home from a run at Clare on April 18. Will need to get out this way more for further finds! We actually found 2 caches at this spot - one seems to be quite an old squashed minty tin with a log inside no lid. The newer caches seems to have lost it's magnet. I signed both logs and places them back near where the newer one was found. TFTC!
Day 5 of our holidays was an early start for the ability to cache all day. We uncovered some geo art, went on very interesting dirt roads, found out some local history and had lunch at one of Mrs IML72's favourite pubs the Gungellan Hotel from her favourite TV series. TFTC
Last cache of the day. These folk were right on the river, you’d think that would have been prime real estate. Thanks for getting me to stop here. Cache all good.
There really are a lot of these abandoned homes in SA. They all look really square and solid. I want to try and renovate all of them. TFTC
As we wander the great land seeing the sights, this is one of the caches we have done.
Thanks to Hurtle for placing the cache for us to find.

My first for this series, after hearing about them at the event in Adelaide yesterday. I saw so many more examples of these derelict structures throughout the day today as I travelled from Adelaide to Cockburn on the border. Tftc.
Heading home to Adelaide with the van on so just stopping for a few caches near the highway. Been a while since anyone lived here but still quite a bit of rubbish strewn around, TFTC!
TFTC. SL. Not a busy day on the highway today so was able to stop an find a log with a hollow in it.
First find for the day! Today was our first day of a long weekend planned for the Flinders Ranges with a group of friendly Geocachers: davidwazza, gridge98, and *the Godfather* (aka Freddo). A long day of driving with detours and many geocaches planned.

We felt that this cache could use the abandoned building attribute, but otherwise was in good shape. We found this cache quickly, and more importantly team Davidwazza/jesswrigley converted the find before the Godfather
