Too long the GZ has been too filled with rubbish branches which has encouraged other stuff to be dumped there and weeds with thorns to grow.
Well i made that alot harder than i had to found all safe and secure ready for the next finder TFTC
Cache 454 A quick grab on the way past this morning, looking at the terrain I was expecting some tree climbing or something, so I prepared myself and climbed over mountains of busted branches and mound of rubbish (really sad to see ) only to turn around and see the cache no need for the obstacle hurdling at all lol DOH Cache is a little damp but not wet, T4TC
Walked past this one and had to return and get this one tagged. Cheers.
Sunday 25 October. Checking out Invercargill today.
Toby, Zara and I are on a 3 week geo adventure of Cromwell, Southland, Catlins, Balclutha with a day in Dunedin and quick stop in Timaru. With Lenny, my trusty navigator and TBD my companion/mascot. we managed to visit lots of green boxes, now happy faces with the odd sad one. Did some LABs , earth caches, virtuals and wherigos, all chucked into the mix to rack up 500 odd caches. Lots of kilometers, lots of exploring and lots of fun. Thanks to all COs for our wonderful experience.

Looking for a gap in the rain and not having to travel too far, went to get this local one bit of a reach for this shorty! Needed some stealth catching a break between muggles got the wee bugger tftc
Container with o ring. Sorry for all the rubbish in this area. So much was thinking of either shifting or archiving.
Very quick find. Not sure about the terr 3.5 . The branches must have been cleared as I could reach it from the wooden fence.

Tftc Creative idea found an easier way to get it without climbing over the felled tree branches.
Parks and reserves do not seem to be in a hurry to remove the branches they chopped so I have increased terrain and added tree climbing attribute.
tree trimming in progress making a legal approach impossible with all those gum tree branches blocking walking.
Some trees have been cut down so a little difficult to reach atm but I could see it from just off the path
A fun first find on this beautiful Saturday morning. Had to do a balancing act with geokid12 on my shoulders to reach the cache...we are shorties tftc
#4565. I have been down south on a work trip but not getting much opportunity to go geocaching. Decided to take a day of leave and rent a car so I could explore some of the caches hidden on the outskirts of Invercargill. Nice warm sunny day as well which makes for a pleasant caching experience. Parked near the church and walked back over the bridge. Had to move on two bike riding Mormons who saw me as easy prey for conversion but I had better things to do with my time. Never get between a man and his geocache! Approached the cache from the park and soon spied the hiding spot. Quick grab and sign. Replaced where found. Thanks for the cache southlandicebergs.
A quick find tonight. The log is very damp but just managed to write my log in it. TFTC
Found with DownSouthInv on his second look. I came along as a second pair of eyes, but initially my GPS had me heading where there was no 'up'. Backtracked and took the small elephant track, hmm pretty new looking here, what else is around? It was the first pair of eyes who "clicked" and eventually had the cache in his hands.
Log is a little damp, but still usable. Soon had vege back in it's raincoat and tucked away.
Thanks for the smilie

I'm on a south island tour on my recumbent bike and staying at the top10 park, going to Invercargill today. That was almost a sit-in on my bike. TFTC.
Last one on the long walk along the riverbank. Tried to make my way down quietly through the undergrowth but pop-crackle goes the leaves and bark. I hope everyone in the workshop was out to lunch lol. Found the cache at just my right height and SL. tftc
There were less muggles around than I first expected. Quick found when on the right side of the fence. Tftc.
Spotted from afar. quick grab and sign and off we go onto the next one. busy little intersection here. On a 11 day caching trip around the south island. Log signed as b&p.Tftc southlandicebergs. Find # 3877
Found easily enough. For those who look for it next be aware of wooden planks on ground with nails thru it.
Went on a big adventure with Wafflekitties and geo pups, had a blast thanks for the memories! TFTC.
Found while on a winter holiday with LCBuilder and our two geodogs. We spent 3 weeks travelling down the east coast and then up the west coast, setting our tent up at a different campsite each night. We didn't have any real plan, just went where the caches took us we saw a lot of awesome sights and will definitely have to come back one day as 3 weeks isn't really that long!
Just came from the catlins which was awesome. Enjoyed Invercargilll as well so stayed two nights! TFTC!

Disappointed not to find as we looked for ages - didn't have the clues with me and think they might have helped. We'll just have to go back and look again.
Pity about the huge amount of rubbish there

I was very glad when I reread the instructions that gave the hint about the height, as I had been fishing around the ground for a few minutes walking through numerous spiderwebs. Once I looked up it didn't take long for it to be in my hand. TFTC
On my way to Queenstown and passing by so I had to find this one, my last cache in Invercargill. Cache found after a short search. Greetings from England

Found myself in Invercargill with an evening and most of a day to kill so a bit of caching was on the agenda. Can recall being in this vicinity for a cache in the past. TFTC.
On an evening walk at Invercargill we searched for this cache. We had no problems to find it. Thank you for the cache!
Found on our 25 day New Zealand South Island holiday.
Apologies for the late log but with little or no internet as we travelled and only super slow WiFi in van parks I decided to log all finds on my return home.
found while out on an afternoon adventure

Someone is playing with my cache. A friend on way home from school spotted the original container attached to the original spot and signed the log ( he had some inside knowledge of previous location). Told him it did not count as it was not the current container in the new location. I am tough!! Called past and removed the old container.
Smart paint job and nice new log, surely I'm not FTF? Thanks, last one for today's bike ride.
