Nice and easy find once youre looking in the right spot! Tucked away from mufflers
Grabbed this one while walking back down the hill from a mid-day walk. It took a few minutes and some bush bashing to find the cache, which was hidden well from muggles, but easy to spot once you're in the general area and looking in the right direction. Cache was located a few metres from GZ, log signed, and tucked back away.
The ziplock is a bit old and probably needs replacing, but I didn't have a spare on me today.

TFTC we found the “Domsky” container 10 metres from GZ and left a couple of treasures
Found this morning whilst on an early Sunday morning walk with mimrach. We believe that we found the original container as the most recent entry on the sheet was in 2022 (under albida), however, there were log entries from 2019 and further back. The container also looked like it had been there for a while. The container was in good condition, marked with the "Official Geocache" sticker and did not need any maintenance. The find was probably several metres away from the posted coordinates and required a bit of bush bashing to get to it. We did not find the container that domsky had placed.

Great Northern escape 2022 Day 56. Atherton to Cairns (again) Day 7. This is the next day with a required cache. It will be my last Multi for the calendar. I had two multis lined up for the day and also did a walk up Earl hill behind Trinity beach. I finished with a few caches low on the hill next to the airport. Walking in this humidity has been a challenge, and as there are fewer and fewer caches to get without a walk, I will have to get used to it.
I did four caches on the Earl Hill walk. The newish track with all its switch backs made for steady climbing. three out of four were relatively straight forward finds but the one at the top has a big correction needed.
Thanks for the cache Bluejackal

After searching for about 30 minutes, with a couple of sets of eyes, we found the remnants of what appears to have been a container. It looks as if it has been washed down, and was not covered.
We have done some maintenance work, and replaced the log sheet with a new outer container.
Thanks Bluejackal

Disobeyed the track closed sign in search of this, really combed the area but came up empty handed.
Another good look around and standing on GZ. I’d b really interested to know where this cache actually is! It’s been 6mths so I excavated leaves from every nook and cranny!
My 2nd find today. Loads of mozzies about. I'm closing in on 3,000 overall finds. TFTC
With overseas travel currently out of the question and state border closures still a lurking as possibilities, my family and some close friends decided that travelling from Brisbane to North Queensland was our best option for a Christmas/New Year escape.
Having been on the road most days, we have stopped for a few days in Clifton Beach. With nothing else on my itinerary for today I decided to duck out for a few geocaches after breakfast.
After the rain of recent days, the high humidity made the walk up to this cache a rather hot and sweaty affair. I was surprised by the number of muggles I passed along the way, obviously as keen as I was to work up a sweat.
At GZ my phone would not zero in on a useful looking hiding spot, so after a while of fruitless searching I expanded my search zone and soon located the cache hidden away. TFTC

Such a great walk up this hill , geogirls sences kicked in and was straight onto this , bit off the beaten path but cache in good shape ..TN left monkey charms
Earl Hill walking track has been rerouted since I last tried to find this fella. But not too far off the less beaten path, and searching a wee bit further than my previous attempt, I discovered a telltale sign of a cache. TFTC

Staying in Palm Cove for a few days. Out for a drive this afternoon with the hope of locating a few caches. Enjoyed the walk up the hill. A good workout and a great view! We overshot this one on the way up and managed to find the cache at the top before looking for this one on the way back down. Took a little while to find. The coords had us covering a fair bit of ground, but we got there eventually! #2582. TFTC.

Thanks for showcasing this area through this cache. Plenty of people and almost as many dogs using this track this morning.
Well hidden! Some works going on in the area atm, luckily on the other side of the main track. TFTC

Will have to brush up on my Shakespearean literature, but made the find, onto the next. TFTC! 0
Great early morning jog, it's quite a busy little trail. GPS said 2m. Found after a short search. Now up to the top.
The cache could be anywhere... but the coords are pretty much spot on. Very well hidden.

Off to committing this much energy to finding a caches and coming up with a DNF.
I'm hoping that one of the talk is still there.

Hi there Bluejackal,
Your cache "Hero's Welcome" was last found on 27/08/2014, 349 days ago, and has had 3 DNF's since that time..
Is there any chance you could do a maintenance run to confirm if it is still there - - and replace it if it isn't.
If that's not possible then please archive the cache so that the spot can be freed up for someone else to use.
Regards
Ian & Penny

Despite the DNF before I had a close look around. All trees and holes but nothing. A hint would be useful or even maintenance...
Went off the beaten track with Ellarucci geokid and whilst we kept coming back to the same spot and understood the hint, we couldn't find it. What we DID find was some rather massive golden orb spiders. This kinda put a dampener on our enthusiasm and even geokid who NEVER wants to stop the "in search of", said yes let's go. Won't come back until someone else finds it as it's been a while - mind you it had been a while for the one at the top! :0)
I revisited the sophisticated hide together with Avoloz and left a TB.

Out and about on this beautiful, mild autumn day with my good GC friend Walterhellmut. Good cardio vascular exercise for this early stroll up hill. GPSr was a bit confused at times, but we managed to hone in - too many switched on minds on a mission ... +/-0. T4TC.
Got it but wasn't too easy.. how come to hide this cache here?
TFTC, enjoyed the track..

We attempted this one while on the way to the top and after quite a bit of hunting we left and headed for the top, deciding to finish that one and have another look on the way down.
This time we stood on the path and picked a line in and headed down, down and down some more. On the first visit I had been about two feet from the cache but as I had approached it from the left I did not spot the hide this time I approached from the right and there it was. SL TNLN TFTC

Phew, second brisk climb today already, after earlier tracking down Number 23.
Great hide and awesome view for those who want to go a little farther up the path

Took some help was needed and thanks to Walter, as my gps had me too close to the path. My 9th find while staying in Cairns. Tftc, nice hill!
spent about 20 minutes in here with 2 others but could not find. Hard to get a fix and with a GPS going flat, it was a DNF but maybe I will try again by Tuesday.
Just need a bit of a clue here.

Following the Shakespearean hint it was not too difficult. The probability of being muggled seems to be close to zero, though.

Not an easy area to be looking around in, particularly with any sort of stealth - there were a lot of people using the track. This was further off the track than I thought and I actually gave up and started to leave (swearing somewhat) before turning back for one more go. I wouldn't recommend wearing shorts and thongs for this hunt.
2nd last cache of northern beaches, was sitting on the cache while looking for clue, how smart are we.
Took football eraser left beanie and travel bug. TFTC was a great spot for a walk.

After parking close by we found the path that leads up Earl Hill. At the beginning the track is relatively steep, but there are steps formed from rocks or timber which assist. After a short distance the track is less steep, so do persist. Plenty of exercising muggles going both ways in the afternoon.
We were lucky enough to have a cool breeze, which turned into a light shower as we were descending.
The GZ is a short way off the well worn path and it did take a while to track down the cache.
We signed the log, but took nothing and left nothing.
Thanks Bluejackal for this cache. The walk does get the heart rate going, but its not that long a hike to the cache.

Found it today together with teamklickklick. Nice walk up to the hill. Just wondering, why there it was so much time after the publish notice. Maybe not many heroes around here in this geocaching area
Our 4th FTF in Australia, the first one in Queensland, that sounds really cool.
