This geocache was brought to my attention as being in need of an owner maintenance visit. The cache owner needs to check on this cache ASAP and either replace it or archive it, after picking up any geo-litter. I've added this cache to my watchlist, and I will check back in four weeks to be sure that the maintenance has been done. In the meantime, I have temporarily disabled this listing. Streak day 73
Below is a blurb about us.
We are trying to get a badge from Project-GC for writing found log files of 100 words or more. Once we get this badge we will stop writing this. We are also trying to
get badges for adding photos to our found logs.
We Started caching in December 2019 and by January 2020 we were hooked. As we are on the road full time (living in a caravan), caching fits in well with this lifestyle.
It is taking us to places that we would normally not have gone.
When we move to a new place we also look at what caches are in the area and how many days we will need to be there to get the caches we want.

Settled in for our first night free camping was ecstatic to find a few caches to grab once we had settled in

Had to drive up to Yass for work today, and then was given a 15 minute break before I had to drive back. Didn't have much else to do, so opened the app to see what was nearby. This is the only cache that's really been on my to-do list in Yass because of it's "Large" size listing, and I was also only a couple minutes away from it!
So drove on over, through the gates, and off onto the dirt where I was only a couple dozen metres from GZ, nice!
Walked over for a quick find as it is brightly coloured.
Thanks team.wallace for the cache

Tricky to find as its small but we like a challenge. Also found a friend while searching

A short detour on our way back to Sydney. Took quite some time to locate because I was looking for something, well, a bit bigger. Just about to give up when I spotted it on the way back to the car. Log is full but managed to squeeze in my signature

Quick find as we took advantage of RV stopover. Unfortunately the natural support has been broken off tree so cache pretty exposed. Log is full also. TFTC.
#306 Here for the Murrumbateman Field Days, afternoon walk. I like these ones, very clever and a muggle would never notice. TFTC and fave from me.
It was easy to retrieve on this occasion, as the relevant part of the tree is broken and the cache is now much much closer to the ground. An enjoyable stroll along the river. TFTC
Hard to pass up a large cache! Quick find at GZ in the middle of the night as the area was deserted.
Found on my adventure to the 2019 OzGeoMuster in Wollongong. A few crazy long days of caching working my way through a huge number of towns en route from Geelong to Wollongong and back, a different route each way leading to different caches, different CO’s and different vista’s, all enjoyable. We targeted caches with a number of goals in mind. Jasmer months, D/T loops and LGA’s were high on the agenda, with priority also given to virtuals, large caches and whereigo’s.
Thanks to team.wallace for placing this Large Traditional cache for us to find*. This is find |find_count|* for BFMC.

Out for a Saturday driving lesson and caching session. Yass is our point of call for today. Found this after a long search. Reported size threw us but once spotted as the connection. Great cache. TFTC
Fantastic find, admit I looked at a cheat pic, due to my mobility and didn't want to get to close to the river, but was easy, great effort, tftc
I was out caching with Gliss! and Joolay today in the Yass area where the weather was sunny but the wind was wickedly cold. We had a very successful day finding some really sneaky caches thanks to Joolay but also had a couple of DNFs. Thanks Gliss! for being driver extraordinaire. This was one of our smilies. Thanks to all the COs for placing these caches that add to our fun. All logs were signed mostly as SG.
Found by Aussie Train Driver 14/05/2019, find number 1442.
This was my fifth find for the evening whilst on a stroll along the river in Yass. Nice to finish up with another novel cache container in a beautiful spot. Whilst I was signing the log I was looking at the nearby rock formations thinking it would also make a good spot for an earthcache!
After replacing the cache I saw someone nearby roll their 4WD as they attempted to drive down the steep bank to gain access to the lower area of the river bank! All seemed ok afterwards although I think there was a bit of cosmetic damage to their car. TFTC.

There was a small group of "us" heading off to meet more of "us" in Tumut for the weekend. Our merry band of misfits was made up of MTrax, Tankengine, Joolay, Aquilus1 and myself. In the car we all thought of a name that we could call our gang, but in the end we decided it was a Canberra Invasion Trip that we were on so just went with CBR5. We signed logs either indiviually or with the group name.
It was an awesome weekend all up, with lots of fun with friends. We cached all day then met up with the rest of the Invasion Team for dinner Saturday night, then cached some more on Sunday until it was time to head home.
This was our first find of the day. Joolay had her eye on this one to collect. We parked near GZ and walked down the slop the way the compass showed us. However, we found the cache not where it was meant to be and so after signing duties were over we replaced as it should be. Although a large is a nice stat to have, this cache is not a large at all, but still a nifty hide in itself. Tftc team.wallace!!!

Interesting cache and different to what I expected. Found they Dty73 and Aquilus1 on our way To Tumut. TFTC
A canberra caching invasion of Tumut this weekend, saw dty73, Tankengine, Mtrax, Joolay and myself stopping for this cache.
The appeal was the large size. Threw us a little but with 5 of is it was soon found! Not quite what expected, and found on the ground... But found, signed, and replaced where it had fallen from. Thanks for the cache.

Great hide! It would have rivalled seeing the car and van moments earlier bashing it's way down the washout to the lower level camping. Not an experience one would want to repeat.... TFTC team.wallace.
After a successful few days in the Surrounds of Tarago, we decided to head over this side and pick up a few here before heading into canberra. Popped in here after getting some late breakfast to see if it was ok to bring the caravan down here for a free camp. nice spots, but would need to be a bit warmer. Cache holder is suffering and starting to break and exposing the second container, CO may need to consider some maintenance on this one soon.

Fun find. Lots of rabbits, roos ,sheep, cows and ducks. Tftc. Great spot for an overnighter. Thanks Yass
Nice hiding spot. Not what I'd call large, but satisfying nonetheless. TFTC
Great find - we used people’s pics to help find but lots of fun, beautiful spot!!
Fun geocache! It took us a bit to find it. But worth it! Thanks photo is a spoiler
Looked for ten minutes but could not find it. I think that's the first time I've DNFed a large cache! Nice spot.
Hi we couldn’t find it the GPS kept jumping a lot and we were observing the trees for a while but nothing we will try other day!
What a wonderful spot, we stayed for morning tea and wished we had more time. We will be back for sure.

TFTC. We have been delayed in Yass owing to car troubles and decided we would do some caching. After not finding it first time we had another attempt and success.
Great spot for a cache. I had no idea you could camp here. Next time we are here we will give this spot a go

My second and last day of my last minute decision to travel into the Riverina region to cache.
With an early start and a full cup of coffee I was ready to hunt.
In the end I totalled 81 finds for the day, and got back home just after dark.
Thanks for the caches.

Another sunrise and yet another assault on the local caches by The DNT...... The dynamic team consisting of DAB, Na'wal and The_Tritonz. With another warm day on the horizon, we started the day early. A successful day all round, with a nice tally added to our counts. TFTC team.wallace
DAB, the Tritonz and myself were a long way from home for a caching trip. We were up at the crack of dawn again for another big day of caching (signing our logs as The DNT) after camping the night before (well some of us id as it was a bit wet and some others were a little soft A couple of caches in the local area again before hitting the trail outside of Yass. A nice spot and a quick find today. Signed and replaced as found.

GPS would have us in the river. Easy to spot once we stopped staring at the screen and looked around us. We were a tad leery of snakes on this warm and sunny spring day. Good camo. TFTC

Darksidedan and I decided to head out to Yass today for the third time to finish up the caches there and if we have time, head over the highway t grab a few more. A cool day which suited us fine. Lots of chit chat on the way. Unless otherwise indicated, caches were found in good order and as indicated.
DNF avenged! Quick find this time!

Not hard to find. But that is a nice place to stay the night in RV coming from Canberra and going through blue Mountains to Sydney. Thanks for hiding. Now I can say I found a cache on the other half of the globe before finishing holidays and going back to Germany.

Darksidedan and I headed out to Yass again to collect a few more caches on a fabulous sunny Saturday morning. We both found around 40 caches for the day - a good haul given we were not in a hurry and headed back to the ACT at lunchtime. Another fun filed day with lots of chatter and birds. If not otherwise indicated, all caches found in reasonable order and in short time.
Nope. No luck for us today.

Suscoe arrived in Yass this afternoon and we caught up with our good friends Phetlern.
So what else to do but head off caching.
It was an overcast sky which had been threatening to rain for a while. It stayed fine til dark which was great.
Thanks to team.wallace for this hide, a quick find for us, perhaps the CO might want to check the elevation.

Monday morning, the best time for writing logs and replenishing the larder. After lunch our very good friends Suscoe arrived in town and we set off in search of a few local caches.
**FEEDBACK TO CO:** We were a little miffed by the D3.5/T3.5 rating here. Perhaps it is more indicative of the original placement! Now more like DR1/TR2.
Thanks team.wallace for placing caches for others to find.
