Logs
Reach for the stars they say. Definitely a reach but there are TOTT at hand to assist. Log is full and signed where I could. TFTC
Immediately found this one but quickly realised I did not have the height needed for this cache. Lucky I had a tott with me to save the day!
Found 1:39 pm with fiance. Spotted it and my loftiness helped. Log book full. Needs maintenance. Catching up on my logs. My lovely other half treated me to a weekend away for my birthday. And we ended out here staying near Eastern Creek raceway. As part of my treat she lets me do a day of caching or as much as I want. So here we were now finding caches. For this one once spotted yeah had to retrieve. Thanks for the cache.
Tftc! Once again was lucky. My dad makes us lucky. Though the log is full sadly. Please change it for future cachers.
Easiest find if the series yet!
Height assist definitely helped; it’s currently 8:10am on Tuesday June 13th and it is far too dewy to actually be able to open the log housing, so here’s a picture instead; sorry!

We found this one today on the bike track. Lucky Dad was able to give me a boost to find this little one
Quick find, having a helper to lift up assisted. Log was full so took a photo instead. TFTC
I got to gz early this morning and retrieved the cache. I did not sign the log because it was full. TFTC.
Found nice and easy on this lazy Sunday morning. Retrieved, signed and returned.

The Geo NSW event bought us to the area and this series was well over due having only done a few some time ago. Out with the Purple One and despite his height I did the vertical ascent. We completed the signing duties and re hid. TFTC.
This series has for too long been on my to-do list so I took the opportunity whilst in the area for the GC-NSW Event to finally chase a few of these offerings from our favourite Rainbow Man. I have heard all manner of horror stories about how tricky some of these hides are, but this was again quick find. 3 down:)

Rainbow Spirit I found your cache Pot of Gold PT, Yellow 1 on 11/4/21, 2:35 pm. This is my find 3120 and find # 7 today. Easy find but how to get to it. Lucky I had the perfect TOTT with me. Thanks for the cache, mate! TNSLLN
Out caching today in the 40 degree heat with Adonis & Meritonnn. We didn't see any other people out and about in the heat of the day but we did see some of the biggest spiders I've ever seen! Also, no snakes - but I'm sure they were around!!!
Team work made the dream work here. We had seen a couple of these structures around the area so it was good to get a closer look. Retrieving the cache was fine, but we had a few giggles getting it back into it's spot! hah.

Once again I was a little useless here due to injury so had to leave the hard work to Adonis and Emilycamden who did a great job of retrieving and replacing. My contribution was supplying the pen to sign the log! Ha! Tftc!
A quick find at gz, luckily we were of good height and agility to make the grab unassisted, thank you!
Made for a quick find, although it’s a bit out of reach for those who are not exactly tall and can’t climb like myself... after getting mrwhiskers76 to give me a leg up, I had the cache in hand. We signed the log and replaced. Thank you!
Found on a humid summer's day, with temperatures in the 20s. We came down from Newcastle to get a few around the South Wentworthville as we are child minding for the weekend spotted straight away, good thing a have a ladder. Log signed and caches replaced as found. Thanks For The Cache Rainbow Spirit

A tricky little cache this one.
After parking up near the JQ’s Don Hudson cache and walking over my eyes were drawn to the thing at the GZ as i was approaching it.
Locating the cache didn’t turn out to be a problem but accessing it did.
After no natural TOTT’s were located nearby to give me a boost and my initial attempts to access the cache failed spectacularly i was able to get into a position to grab it one handed.
I dont usually like this type of cache but this was a great place to hide one of them.
Thanks.

Approaching GZ it was obvious where I should be searching. I don't normally need a height assistance tool has the hint suggested but this time I did. Fortunately mother nature provided as she so often does and I soon had the log signed and the container returned to the same altitude. TFTC!
On a day when the temperature reached 39 degrees, only mad dogs and crazy cachers go out in the midday sun! But we wanted one last hurrah to end 2018, and so EverestHigh and Brewmaker headed out west to attempt the Pot of Gold series and others around the area. We had a successful day overall, but the heat got the better of us at times and we had a few DNFs. Thanks for the variety of hides. I remember cycling through this area back in my pre-caching days. Happy New Year and many caching returns in 2019.
So glad I had EH as my TOTT. TFTC

Easy find but it stretched me to the limit to get CIH. OCW Brewmaker. TFTC Rainbow Spirit
Out this way for work today and had an hr to kill so saw these just 1km away. At over 6ft tall, I had to use my springs to retrieve and replace. TFTC!
Thankfully I read the hint before approaching GZ and had an appropriate tool of the trade. I quickly found and retrieved the cache at GZ. Replaced as found after signing the log. tftc
Located at 9:20pm. #815. Another successful find on this Power Trail. I have been slowly chipping away at this Power Trail and am enjoying the variety of hides. This was an easy retrieval and replacement with my height . Большое спасибо! תודה! L’chaim! TFTC!
OCW marj01 to tackle the twentyone caches in the Power Trail series along Orphan School Creek. We made an early morning start and did the series in the reverse order to the CO's numbering. A lot of time was spent examining casuarina trees looking for very well camouflaged caches. Of the twentyone caches we found fourteen of them with four dnf's; we didn't attempt the other three caches as they already had a string of dnf's. Thanks for the series Rainbow Spirit and the company marj01.
Day 294 proved a bit challenging but along came this nice one. Took the hint with a nearby article and soon had CIH. This is a rather strange GZ in all. Thanks for one more Mr Spirit.
Wow that was even tricker!! I couldn’t access the cache (no tool that l knew of) except l remembered l gifted myself a little pack with a few tools inside, thought I’d try my luck - you beauty!! Log signed and replaced as found. TFTC R_S!

Trying to get to my 1900 milestone as I have a special cache in mind but I still have 20+ to go so decided to target this PT.
By the time I got here, the heavens had opened up. Tried to take shelter under the trees but it didn't help much. Trying to get a wet iPhone screen to work took a lot of effort but I got a fairly good idea of where the container might be hidden. Dashed out during a break in the rain and used the bike to gain the necessary elevation. SL and replaced as found. Great - its pouring again... Headed off to #4 once the rain eased up again.

A keen biker but I’d opted for walking today.
Great sculpture with an amazing record !
Definitely needed a TOTT fur the retriever and the replace

A quick find once I realised the scarcity at GZ. Retrieving it was ok but placement proved to be a bit more difficult. TFTC!
Quick find, appropriately while on a geo-cycle of the area. Needed a tool for this one. Luckily the bike pump did the trick.

Message the CO for a extra hint and got a reply that it's MIA. I guess it means I have to come back again.

Even with my height and an extended mirror there was no sign of this one. Muggled?
Teamed up with Seemyshell today to ride the power trail and grabbed #3 along Orphan School creek. Getting to know the CO's style with some varied finds. A great cycle trail as well.
Thanks for the series Rainbow Spirit and the company Seemyshell.

Spotted this after going around in circles a bit. Tried one method of retrieval that failed, so grabbed an aid and soon had it. This was my turn around point. I'd decided to leave the others until the series can be checked. The flood waters along this creek were really quite extraordinarily high. I was cold, hungry and had to ride. I think I managed more DNF's today than finds. This is a really interesting sculpture though.
Found! We didn't have a pen and our stickers were too big for the log. Great team work with letunechi and I getting this one down.thanks
Nice easy find but did need the use of an improvised tool to retrieve the container. TFTC
On recommendations of a caching couple I met at an Event, came out for a day-visit to the series of caches along the Orphan School Creek. This is 19th of 20 for the day.
My "height aid" was my MTB propped up against the structure, then standing on the saddle.

Tftc. Quickly spotted and retrieved with the appropriate tool, log signed and returned.
Could have done with another person for this one. Thanks found it along the creek walk.
After a busy Christmas Day. I hit the road early to grab some caches. I had plan for 14 caches and I had a totally successful day finding this one and the other 13. TFTC.
Confession time! When I attempted this series some months ago, (even a year or more), I had a horrible experience. 2 DNFs...one with a stinking creek, and the other where some one had used GZ as a toilet. I walked away in disgust and avoided the area. I came back today to find the entire area to be peaceful and perfect. It's a great area for a ride and next time I'll bring the kids with me to pick up the odd DNF. TFTC
A nice easy one whilst walking the series this afternoon. TFTC

Found by my geo daughter with a keen eye immediately but she had to wait for a pitman clan member to grab it for her since she's still a little vertically challenged! TFTC!

Well, headed south today and as the rain seemed to be holding off I hoped I could bag a good number of finds today - with lots of the remaining Pot Of Gold PT nabbed.
And good it was with not only the rain indeed holding off, but also getting 14 finds out of 14 attempts - two of which were somewhat surprising. And I only needed a PAF with one of them.
END OF CUT AND PASTE SECTION
Spotted it immediately, but how to make the grab? Selected the right geotool and had CIH without too much problem.
Completed signing duties and then used the tool to make the replace - took 3 tries though.

16/08/15. 9:54 AM. Cache #2841. Streak day #420.
7th of 10 finds this morning.
I'm working my way through the western third of the Pot of Gold series, or Rainbow 1, this morning, plus getting a few of JQ's Cars series.
After finding Green 1, as I walked along, crossing Sweethaven Rd, I read through a few past logs, and this one intrigued me. I soon saw the likely hiding spot and as I got up to it, I was able to easily spot the nano. Now what?
I scanned around and found a perfect implement to extend my reach, without having to leave the ground. This tool easily knocked the nano to the ground, and so I quickly picked it up and signed the log. Now to get it back, the implement was shaped perfectly for a tricky, but delicate replace that took a couple of goes. I then walked back to my car (near "JQ's Luigi") and drove it to Coolatai Cres. so that I could get more caches in the area, starting with "JQ's Doc Hudson" next. TFTC.

An easy find but a tricky recovery. I had to use a natural recovery tool to retrieve and replace cache. Tftc
Rock climbing skills definitely came in handy here. Jump, hold, pull up and grab cache. Had a bit of difficulty placing the cache back but a natural tool made it easy. TFTC!
