Almost certain this is still there but as we can’t check it we will have to archive it.
After three attempts and messaging back and forth with the hider, no success. “Tricky” is an understatement. It doesn’t seem to be anywhere. I give up.
Pine Creek was a quick rest break on a coach tour of Katherine, Kakadu, etc. Examined what I found at GZ without luck so widened the search area also without luck so went back to the first place I looked and examined it more carefully. Sure enough, there it was. My pen had difficulty writing on the log so it may be difficult to read but mine is the one with indecipherable scratchings. Thank you Lumpyjrb
On a clockwise half lap of the East side of Australia. Travelling from Katherine to Batchelor and decided to grab a few caches despite the afternoon heat. Thanks to all the CO'S for their valuable work and maintaining the cache's.

Found on a nice geocaching day together with LandLockedSailors (LLS)
Today was maintenance day - meaning maintenance of LLS caches. For that we had to go all the way from Darwin to Dorisvale. That is quite a distance for a Danish geocacher
We had a marvelous day, meeting nice people, maintaining caches and finding a few other caches in interesting places A long, but a great day for geocaching [^]
Here I was puzzled about the GZ and thought the cache would be off and a little further ahead. I wasn't - it was spot on and well hidden [^]
Thanks a lot for the cache

Still travelling NT after the Red Centre Experience but now moving towards Birdsville in QLD for the Big Red Bash.
Camp set up at Pine Creek for a few days then out and about to find a few caches.
Well this was on the list as the CO said it's here!
Well look, look some more, nope we can't find it. Sent out SOS to many many friends but nope nobody remembered this being difficult. Well why can't we find it. [8)]
Eyes must be painted on again today. [)] (not the first time)
Well during a phone call with a previous finder they were pretty sure they recalled where it was, nope its not there, no way, have dismantled the place. Well on the phone Mr Felix goes back to the car and arrives at GZ with the tyre brace! No way surely not! [xx(] 30seconds later! Yep I found it.
He found the old cache with the loose magnet but no sign of the olther one. The ants are now incredibly unhappy as they don't have a house! Photo taken of the old cache and log, but we chose to replace the nano with a new one as the magnet was loose. Not sure what happened to the other cache or the one that lumpyjrb said they saw a few weeks ago but this one has been entombed for a while looking at it.

We had a good search around but no luck at all here today.
With a lot of DNFs & not being found since Oct.2016 this needs to be checked by the CO.
Thanks

Searched the area, but sadly a DNF for us here today. [8)] Hopefully we were just cache blind again.
Thanks anyway Lumpyjrb

Alice trip 2017. Day 16. Another day of driving, today took Sol de Lune, Luckyl10n, Fitzy_1965 and I from Mataranka to Adelaide River. Long distances with fewer caches until we arrived at Katherine. Great country along the way.
Thanks.
Albida
Thanks.

After leaving Alice Springs we headed north and tried a few caches, but alas no luck for us here.
Thanks anyway....

Late log.
Clever hide, doing the grand tour with a swag of TB's and Geocoins.

Third time is the right one! It was a park and catch, how did we not find it last time!? Still 2 nanos, only logged one. TFTC
Geocaching day with Jasmyn, for the caches I already found and also the one I didn't yet. Second attempt on this one 2 years after and we saw that someone found it the day after. Sooo frustrating!
Found it. ...we'll I think we did!? 2 Nanos but no sign of a TB. On our way to Mataranka. Tftc.
Wrong turn....and right there was a cache. Just had to stop and made a quick find of two little nano's. Only signed one and on our way again. That gecko lizard is probably wondering why his little home keeps being opened up. TFTC
We had stayed in Pine Creek for the night so we headed out to grab this cache whilst we were here.
Cache took a while but we got there in the end. We actually found two nanos at GZ, does that mean we can log two finds?

More than 3 weeks of holidays in this amazing country, from Darwin to Broome throug the Gibb River Road and beautifulspots on our way back to Darwin (Bungle Bungle, Lake Argyle, ...)
TFTC greetings from France
j'ai tourné un peu avant de trouver le seul possible. Très belle cache bien à l'abri. Il y a deux boites dans la cache. Je logue celle qui s'ouvre plus facilement. Un grand merci.

GZ was spot on the "NT Valve Box'. I opened it, but only found a scared spider and lizard. A DNF.
Easy find after filling up (much cheaper fuel at the nearby servo than the other one in town)
I had some spare time in Pine Creek while waiting for our bus to be repaired so decided to try for a quick find.. TFTC.
TFTC. Stopped in Pine Creek to have a drink and break the journey from Adelaide River to Katherine. Struck out on2 caches but honed in on this one immediately. Could not stop too long as the lawns were being mowed. Just before returning the cache to its hidey place noticed that magnet had fallen out. Returned magnet to it correct location and returned cache. Just a word of warning to future finders,
Heading up the West Coast to the V8's in Darwin grabbing caches along the way. TFTC.
Found it with surprising ease, after doing a few of Lumpy's I must be getting better thinking outside the box. Although I can see why it would have had so many DNF.
Checked this one today and all is well. Not sure why the needs maintenance log was put on it.
Today we headed to Adelaide River, not before having another look for this elusive cache. We noticed the co-ords have been updated so off we headed and Mr "T" strucked gold straight away. Thanks Lumpyjrb for the updated posting, much appreciated.
Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache for our enjoyment.

Out and about but failed to unearth his one. We too struggled with this one as we had no idea where the cache would be at GZ!
Just sound the corner after we had refueled the car, we made a detailed search but no luck. Cache may have gone and needs a CO check.
Looked high looked low. Looked everywhere but where the cache was. Thanks anyway.
Found with Redgremlin!
He had already looked once here but I insisted that he looked again, good idea Lilousof!!

This was a neat little cache that we did on our way to Lichfield from Kakadu.

Lilousof and Redgremlin on a geocaching tour down-under... Or maybe it's a holiday... Stop two... Darwin... Mission crocodiles, Kakadu, Lichfield, waterhole swimming and wildlife. Fantastic.
Thanks to all the cache hiders that made this trip memorable.

With a little help from my friends-finally found this one. Had looked here the three previous times but obviously not well enough. TFTC Lumpy crew.
Tried this one again today, thinking we would find it with some recent clues from logs. Pretty sure we now have the right unpainted metal object but couldn't retrieve, even with the smallest of hands (upto her elbow!!). Either further in or not there!! Alas, will try again another time. TFTC.
I've had a bit of a problem finding this one on past attempts. Today I looked somewhere I hadn't looked before and low and behold......

For those who said it was gone, you were looking in the wrong place. Look for things that are metal and not painted. Then put your hand in to find this nano cache. It is really small.
Soon had cache in hand -clever little hide Thanks Lumpyjrb 4TC:) gets a favourite point from us....
This was another find in Northern Territory while crossing Northern Territory and Western Australia from Darwin to Perth on Gibb River Road through the Kimberlys. During this 8500km journey we've met many nice and friendly people [^], visited countless marvelous places, saw lots of interesting local wildlife (and plants), took some 2500 pictures home and logged some 300 Caches .
At this location Mini Cacheator had the right idea but didn't check carefully enough Cacheator Dad finally found it there a few minutes later .
Thanks for the cache, we've enjoyed it very much [^].

Carefully looked but could not find. Agree with other comments that council workers may have discovered it in recent refurbishment - fresh paint still splattered over the ground and vegetation. Some bolts look new too.
Took two looks but I did visit the correct place on the first visit. Thanks Lumpyjrb.
Looks like council/shire may have been renovating around the site. New Paint, new nuts and bolts. Could not find it.....
Looked up and down for this one but too worried about muggles so had to let it go.
A quick inspection of two possible locations by Mr SKI and then Mrs SKI got out of the car and went straight to where it was and found it.
Didn't see Bogga at Mayseys today, but we were here mid afternoon.

Our first cache in the Northern Territory. Working just across the road and I could not get a break until the end of the day. Interesting the information I found out from the locals. "Mayse's" across the road is owned by Bogger's family and apparently the old bloke that has a coffee there each day is his brother.
Great hide, great history lesson and good dining across the road. TFTC. Adding it to our favorites because of the history lesson.

We had a few different places we were looking for this one but all were coming up empty. Mr TiedyeSmileys finally checked somewhere that Mrs TiedyeSmileys said couldn't be looked in and managed to look in and guessed where the cache would be hidden. Luckily the Geovan was hiding us somewhat as we grabbed the cache.

Popped in to check cache and all is well. It is still safely tucked away in its hidey hole!
No luck for us on this one. Searched and searched, but came up empty handed. Wonder if this one is still there? Thanks anyways.
Nasty little hide Lumpy! Drove post this one on Friday and thought we will pick it up on the weekend. Just missed the FTF. Hope this one gets to stay where it is. Bit of a risky hide but good luck. TFTC.
