Given the uncertainty of this cache remaining and possibility that the property has changed hands, it may be worth for the CO to investigate if this cache is still around, or has a viable future ahead.
This weekend, an overnighter at Girraween National Park was planned with the aim to tackle Mount Norman. An early start on Saturday had me attend Warwick parkrun and visit Warwick, Leslie Dam, Stanthorpe, and then Girraweeen to walk to Underground Creek. On Sunday, it was a walk/hike through Girraween's south vicinity visiting Mount Norman, Castle Rock, and Turtle Rock, before venturing across the NSW border, and then heading northwards via Ballandean and Stanthorpe, detouring past the *Elementary* series and *Stan's Apple* series.
Today, I joined Beardman75, Davinells, and wayn0, and we spent the morning with a hike in the southern vicinity of Girraween National Park. A tough expedition to Mount Norman's geocache, and after taking a breather with the group and then saying farewell, I continued north via Castle Rock, The Sphinx, and Turtle Rock, thanking the car shuffle for only making my journey a one-way walk. It was then a southern drive towards Tenterfield for a few geocaches, before proceeding back north targeting geocaches with high Favourite Points, in particular the cluster around Fletcher. It was then a detour towards the *Elementary* series, and lastly, I took a few more stops west of Stanthorpe finding a few more of *Stan's Apple* geoart, and completing the [Stanthorpe Art and History](https://labs.geocaching.com/goto/99df815e-d7c7-4bde-8575-b2c5ff71d8cc) Adventure Lab, before fatigue and daylight got the better of me, and I proceeded home.
This geocache had been on my priority/target list given the high Favourite Points (with it having 28 FPs as of the time of my visit).
I approached this geocache from Bents Road parking on the nearby church's property, and then looked towards where my GPS wanted me. It was only late afternoon, so not too late, but it felt like a private residence, and the place didn't have a lot of activity. I tried to make an approach and have a sitcky beak, but even I didn't feel right in being here. Going by the DNFs and the comment about its change in ownership, it sounds like it may be in need of a CO check. Thanks anyway Team Robins for the cache placement.

Had a nice chat to a couple of young girls from the house ( this place has recently been bought) and they said there had been a bottle with a piece of paper there but was now gone. will write a note to CO
Tftc Team Robins, made a quick find here on our way to the Stanthorpe showground where we will stay for a few nights
I made a quick find here on my way back from Girraween as the steam train rattled past. Thanks for the cache
PirateLinda and I have come down for Beardman75’s Catch-up in Stanthorpe event tonight… Apparently people come here in the middle of winter… for fun… Being our only full day in town, it was all about Girraween…
Having conquered Girraween, or at least some of it, a group of us are making our way back towards Stanthorpe…
Found with PirateLinda, Willis007, and chamad…
Tftc…??

Another find on Peppa and PirateLinda's Brisbane to Stanthorpe Jaunt.
Found with Willis007 and chamad.
Found with Willis007 and chamad.
After a very early start to the day yes 4 am on the second coldest day in the year. Willis007 and I left Brisbane and headed to Stanthorpe and Girraween for a walk and catchup with a few other crazy people. It got to -4 degrees at one point of the journey but that did not stop the enthusiasm of the group.
We finished our big trail walks and started to collect caches around the area. We headed south to a particular challenge cache for Willis007 and then we headed north back towards town, collecting more caches, timing it to finish before our dinner event at 5.30pm.
We bumped into Peppa and Pirate linda at this cache and suggested we cache together for a while. It was a fun little caching time. It was good for Willis and I, as we got to clean up a few more caches of Stanthorpe that we had missed on our last journey here.
This was an easy find, a quick sign of the log and cache replaced as found and we were on our way to the next one, thanks.

A great day out in Girraween National Park with chamad, Peppa, Pirate Linda and Beardman75. The main focus was to visit some of the waypoints for the earthcache in the area, and to attend the event in the evening.
Of course, there are always plenty of caches to visit while in the area, we made sure we made the most of the beautiful day.
A quick find at gz, thanks Team Robins for bringing us here.

Just staying here for a holiday with the family. Thankyou for this cool find.
Found with josh301 - it was on the ground in plain sight so we moved it slightly.
Too obvious. It was simply lying under the tree. Way too likely to be found by Muggles. That's why we tried to hide it in the flora. Look around. The local soap shop is unusual, it's worth exploring if you've got time. We also spotted a flock of noisy white cockatoos chilling out near the windmill. TFTC.
Spotted the familiar cache container then in the tree above I found what looked like an old syringe kit painted black.. seems this is what a lot of people are signing as it has paper and some bits and pieces inside. Almost removed it from play but decided it might be there for a reason
The original cache is great! Just like all Wingapp caches. FP from me.

This wins the prize for most ridiculous throw-down ever. Just in plain sight, right above the actual cache... We signed both! TFTC. It was only as we left we realised what the name of the cache was about!
Nice table and chairs for a place to enjoy the early morning here for goldielover and I. Very quiet here at 7am.

Found with stairman1. Up bright and early and heading back to Brisbane. Nice spot. TFTC
After 10 years on the road, we have finally decided to settle and put some roots down. Warwick is our chosen town. While we wait impatiently for settlement, we sit out time in our caravan, or go shopping for furniture, or go caching! Settlement has been delayed by a few days, so we went for a drive today down to Wallangarra and back. Started picking up caches around Ballandean.
After negotiating all the trees as per previous logs we were about to give up and I said ""well the cars ïs parked at grand zero let's try this tree over there" and she enough there was a cache.
ThanksTeam Robins for the hunt

Unfortunately my snow chasing adventure has come to an end. I had a fabulous time exploring towns like Glen Innes, Ben Lomond and Guyra. I had the opportunity to see a tonne of snow and took many photos! In total I reckon I've done close to 1000km of driving, was it worth it? YES and I'd do it all again in a heart beat.
Hmmm.. This one seemed a little iffy, I wasn't sure if I was on someones property so I cautiously wandered over towards GZ. It took my GPS a few moments to settle on a location, even then it still had me in the middle of nowhere, so I went further afield and spotted a suspicious container on the ground, I walked over to check it out and it turns out it's the cache. I have no clue where it's supposed to be so I placed it by the tree. The CO might wanna check up on this to make sure it's placed were it should be.

I wasn't too sure about approaching this one as a local resident was out on their patio nearby. As I looked around I realised they were distracted with a phone call so I went for it. A great cache tftc
Thanks for the cache. My daughters spotted it pretty quickly. As others have said - log is very wet.
We found after walking it in. Don't be fooled by the tap at first, like we were.
Enjoying a few caches during our stay in this beautiful area. Decided to visit this cache after purchasing some soap. Log book is wet and needs replacing. TFTC
I was blessed enough to spend the weekend away, caching and camping in Texas, Stanthorpe, Girraween and Toowoomba. The weather and company were perfect. Not so the loud and obnoxious teenagers camping next door! That aside, it was a fabulous weekend.
We were finished in Stanthorpe, and heading towards Girraween, and I decided to change the plan somewhat, and stop in at this cache on the way. I think it has changed somewhat from its earliest inception, as it was just laying at the base of the tree, in full view.
Still, a great opportunity to get out of the car, stretch the legs, view some beautiful gardens, and gain another smilie.

We are spending a few nights camping at Girraween & after climbing the pyramid this morning it was time for a relaxing lunch & some winery visits. Lucky the soap shop was closed today so the area was muggle free. I was fixated on the wrong spot for awhile before finding the cache sitting out in the open, replaced in a less obvious spot.

It’s some years since I beadled around the Stanthorpe region and the promise of a temperate climate and low humidity drew me here. Lots of caches, cheese, jam, wineries, truffles, happy hour, awesome scenery, you get the picture Even managed to convert a muggle to our evil ways Lots of fun!
All is fine with this cache

Ahhh the old apple twist. Got some gifts in the soap store and quickly signed the log. Lovely shop full of lovely products. Tftc!
Very appropriate container. Staying just down the road. Bee2 is reading so bee1 out caching. Wineries for the rest of the day. Tftc team robins
With some time on my hands and an exceptional spell of weather on the forecast, albeit very cold, I decided to throw the swag in the car and head for Girraween's granite hills. On the outward journey, I selected some unloved caches and caches with a lot of favourite points.
Time for one last highway stop, before heading into the National Park. My phone and the muggles were not very cooperative here, but after pondering my surroundings for a while and contemplating where a container of that size could be hidden I made the find.
Many thanks Team Robins

Very nice container, I wonder if the iplay cards inside had any money... also the first geo I've found!
On our 4th day of holidays in Stanthorpe. Driving back from Wallangarra and picking up some caches on the way. Visited the shop and the lady asked if we had found their cache. Was this cache set up just to get us to buy soap? A nice shop and a nice little cache.
One of the key elements of our Stanthorpe holiday was a visit to the soaperie. We saved up some money to go wild ever since our last visit produced gold.
Last time I brought some activated charcoal soap which held a higher place in my heart than any kids or wife. Coming back it was the only thing I wanted. Out daughter has been mail-ordering their soap since we took her some home 18 months ago.
Later in the day we dug up a cache that had a hand sanitiser sachet in it. Mrs Woodyrothwell also has some sanny attached to her purse and made me sanitise for touching the sanitiser. I also brought two activated charcoal soaps. tftc

A very clever installation indeed! I found the cache, dropped in a geocoin and bought a bag full of divine smelling goodies from nearby. My car shall smell lovely for the drive

TFTC. Gps was out by 10m. Was obvious but then tried to follow the gps then back tracked to where we thought it was haha yep after a bit if fiddling we signed the log book with the thoughtfully provided pencil as i left the pen in the car back at Dorothy cache.
TFTC Thank you for hiding this cache. You have shown us a new place and have helped make geocaching an enjoyable activity.
I finally got around to stopping to find this one. Distracted by a nearby item for a moment, but the cache was found soon after. Thanks for making me smile, Team Robins!
A bit of a puzzle getting into this one. What a lovely 'fruit' tree FP from me.
