Quick find but it was left open and out on the open. Resealed and tucked it safely into the hiding spot. TFTC
Found it but as we were out walking no pen. Pic for proof. Good easy find with a nice trick for the kids inside.
After a lovely Father’s Day breakfast with family the wife suggested I head out and enjoy an afternoon of caching whilst she and the kids knock up a meal for dinner.
She didn’t have to suggest twice and I was soon in the car and off. After a big day of yakking yesterday I was keen for a more gentle day today so it was off to the Ipswich LGA to pick up a few more caches to complete a challenge I’m working on.
Found a safe place to park the geowagon, and slipped off to locate the prize.
I soon spied the prize and had it in hand, log signed and returned safely to its place of origin. Back in the car and off to the next adventure.
A big thanks to the cache owner for making this cache available for fellow cachers to find
Cheers

Today was our first visit to this bushland and with all the birdsong about we couldn’t help but be reminded of Ric Nattrass - this park’s namesake. (We remember him well.) It was a nice walk all the way to GZ.

On holiday in Camira, so this was a great opportunity for my daily find. Headed out with tic toc and had the cache in hand after the GPS finally stopped mucking around. TFTC
Drove over to this side of the world today to grab just one purpose cache that was required for me D/T grid, plus it helps to keep my trad a day challenge and my cache a day challenge going along. Opened cache and got the required information so as I could solve the next part. Very limited in time today so it was this one and a couple others in the area and then home.
Thanks for the cache and all good with this one nice and dry, like the idea of the trackable and the hint, just not fond of the drive lol. Thanks again and I look forward to the next part of the equation.

It’s nice to find a cache with a story every now and again... spotted the key here... left some English coin... tftc...
This morning Mrs Woodyrothwell and I came out to socially isolate ourselves the best way we knew possible by walking through some bush. The only other place we had a chance to be alone was at home when the kids were due to do their housework (read not leaving their rooms). We decided that walking through the bush alone was our safest option.
Today was the unveiling of my new caching cap to the paparazzi. I don’t know whether it’s common knowledge or not but most males suck when it comes to fashion (I hope my wife never finds out). We would rather wear a t-shirt to death with holes in it, rips and stains than buy a new one. A pair of shorts can last forever even with a hole in them. Unless the hole is big enough for both testicles to fall out then play on.
My old cap had been through the wars and was really looking disgusting. I knew I had to break the man-fashion-code also known in some circles as the power of idiot and get a new one. Last week I was at the pub and noticed a promotion to win a new hat. All you had to do was drink two pints of Guinness. How hard could it be?
I’ve drank many of the dark beer in my time but it might have been at least 15-20 years since I’ve had one. Surely it’s just like riding a bike and you never forget unlike calling your mother on her birthday. I couldn’t wait to “earn” my new crisp head dress.
No matter what the marketing material says, Guinness tastes like dish water that’s been used to wash a dog. It was a struggle to get through the two pints but it meant I had a new look for the caching day. Unfortunately being a male means this hat has to last mr for a decade. tftc

Cache 1 of 20 today! I was on the southside of town, generally hunting QLD's oldest 100 or oldest 500 caches (with a few slipping into the list because they were so close, or filled in a DT hole).
Collected this one and some very helpful information about the location of another cache - a cache which would fill in a hole in my DT matrix.
GZ was nice and quiet, only one lady walking her very friendly dogs (and I stopped for a pat because I adore dogs!) and myself. Good to see some greenery after the recent rains. Lovely sized cache container.

I was in the area and realised how close I was to this cache . I knew I needed some info that the last lolly guarded. So I headed on in. The coords were spot on and made for a quick find once at gz Tftc
Travelled down to Ipswich parkrun run for Toowoomba and then onto a bit of DFO shopping with the teenager. I searched the area for a cache I hadn't found and thought I would stop by this one and discover the trackable in this one. A quick find once at GZ all good with this one. TFTC missusan79
This was the one I was after today. Came out here with the geopup and had a nice wander through the bush to GZ where the cache was quickly located. TFTC!
I don't recall how the subject came up, but Mrs George mentioned at breakfast today something about Ric Nattrass Park which I hadn't heard of, so I investigated. Yes - it has a couple of caches and is not too far from home.
After finding 'On the way' down the way a bit, I continued along the path and found the dreaded staircase! At least it was an easier way to climb the hill than straight up! Ambled off track for a bit and soon had the cache in hand. No swaps today, but liberated the frog TB. Now all that's needed is to get back to the car way along the other end of the park. TFTC, misssusan79. Enjoyed the Lolly!

This year we are trying to fill a many gaps in our calendar as we can, which was task number one for today. We were also carrying a few TBs, including one with vital information for a cache near us at Mt Gravatt, and dropping that was task number 2. Now, *we'd* had to do waaaay up in the Northside to retrieve that TB AND do a VR cache, so we didn't want to make it too easy for the next person and drop it near home (which would also be near to the cache in question), so I brought it with me to work in Goodna this morning and dropped it off after work.
This was a lovely spot for the cache, a short but peaceful walk, and the cache is dry and well hidden. Took a TB and left two others. Thanks for eating the last lolly and leaving this cache for us to find!

With youngoldfella down from Nanango for a while, we decided to catch up in the Springfield Lakes area for coffee and then spend the rest of the day caching.

Out with Caro from Jess&Caro for a couple of hours this morning and we met up at Goodna as we both had a few to grab here.
Time for a walk in the park It was darn hot today so we both made sure to grab hats and water. We made use of the wide paths and had no trouble reaching GZ, where we got a quick find. TFTC, misssusan.

Heading down the hill to find some geocaches, so I organised to meet up with IolantheK to find a few together and do lunch.
It's turning out to be another hot day so after a bit of slip slop and slap we made our way to GZ for a quick find.
I dropped off a TB here.
Thanks for the cache, mussusan79.

We were very surprised to find this lovely area so close to suburbia, what a great place for the locals to go and have a little downtime. No lollies today as someone else ate the last one so that the cache could be placed LOL. We have seen this done in other places, top idea. SL TFTC
Out and about with geopartner today.
It was a bit of a puff puff but we soon were where we needed to be.
Headed to this one and soon I had the cache in hand.

I realised I've only got a couple to get and I will have filled in my 3/3 Well Rounded Cacher (after all this time and all these finds). This was one of the last to get.
Great hide, and thanks misssusan79 for hiding it!

These two caches have been on my list to do for a while. While my daughter was home sick with my husband and my son was at dance, I had 1.5 hours to fill. Hmmm, do I do the paperwork that I need to do or do I take half an hour to do these caches before the sun goes down and then do paperwork. Doing the caches obviously won! I didn't realize this lovely bushwalk ever existed. A nice easy find. TFTC!
Nice walk. Quick easy find. Not at off path and not far from where we parked. Tftc.
Today we explored Ipswich and surrounds using geocaching as a guide.

!!!!!!tftc!!!!!popped in to have a gander at the last lollie and found easily all good with the cache thanks for bringing me here !!!
Probably took the worst access point. Now where's this path you talk of.
Made our way to GZ and quickly located the cache (and the path) . Signed log and headed back to car via the path. Hmm, maybe I should have parked here. Lucky I need the exercise.

Miss susan has put out all these caches and we feel compelled to go find them. This one provided a good walk, uphill, but the weather is still warm and we were feeling rather warm after our trek. But more caches awaited. I admit I took a breather after the two caches on this patch because I am an old geezer. Fortunately there are still a lot more caches by this owner for me to find. I shall find them all.
Out for a long and very enjoyable day of caching with Bristracker and Whint today. Nice track to walk down and then 50m from the cache we found another track which lead directly to it. No issue with long grass today. TFTC
Found with Bristracker and Karenhippo today.... we almost gave this one a miss as we weren't too keen on walking through long grass, however we decided to have a look and are glad we did... wasn't really any long grass to contend with and there was a path leading almost all the way to the cache
took mini geocoin to move along soon

Found with stairman1 and geodog. We have been so busy renovating and haven't had any time for caching. On dusk we headed in and fought away the mossies to grab the container. Signed the log. Thanks Miss susan79
Found with goldielover late this arvo. I needed a place to drop off a TB. This cache had plenty of room. The cache is in great condition. Enjoyed our walk through here. We also checked on a near by cache while here. Unfortunately it looks like it has gone.

Out and about today with doscrapbooking.
We grew up a suburb or two away so it was good visit some old haunts and see the changes in the neighbourhood.
A bit of a walk from were we parked the car. We did find the walking track eventually.
A quick find once at GZ.
Thanks for the cache.

Came by at speed this afternoon. After criss-crossing here and there, it was great to find the cache just where I wanted it to be. Inside: no lollies but sadly yet another bubble mix container had leaked a little. Also, the log bag was wet on the inside: very hard to work out how that happens. I emptied everything out and left it all to dry in the sun and wind while I went off to find the sister cache nearby.
When I returned, everything was in much better shape, so I restored it all and left happy that my work was done. TFTC and a nice walk.

As I got near GZ, a kangaroo was heading the same way (looking for the cache?).
Anyway he decided to let me get it first, and jumped the other way.

I followed the trail along to this one. I even found an old mountain bike trail that took me almost right to GZ.
I am glad I looked at the hint for this one because my GPS wanted me a fair way off. It was a nice quick find with the hint, only really one place it could be

Today was a busy one with a trip from up north to home via Lowood. Princess B&3 and I decided that some retail therapy on the way was required so we popped into DFO at Jindalee for some shopping and aircon. As I was looking at a lovely purple glass lidded cup (which I bought and used and washed and now isnt purple anymore) I heard a chirpy little voice catting away in the store. I thought " that sounds like Tobias!" I looked up and sure enough there was The Geokid and CO! We had a chat and I decided that it was high time I got this cache in my smiley list! After filling the boot with some bargains we headed to the area, it was 40 degrees when we pulled up and seeing just 100m to go we took a long drink and got out. SLAP the heat just hit us and we took off to get this done. The area is nice and I will come back to find all the other caches - in winter. We got to GZ and looked around for a bit and found it! I was so chuffed to see that my note from the event had been used on the cache itself! Thanks guys! I love the cache and swapped a rubber for a pretty ring. A favourite point from me too!
As a was walking along the path I thought I saw what was described in the description. It turned out to be the wrong one. I moved a couple meters and saw the right one! lol
