Quick find on way home. Had to wait a little to make sure coast was clear .
Another nice quick find from the obvious spot at 18:45 and it was back to the cricket for the trip home.
TNLNSL. Thanks CATONY.

Arriving from Adelaide and heading for Wollongong, I stopped nearby for a snack and decided to grab a couple of nearby caches. Surrounded by muggles heading this way and that way, a brief gap in the traffic was all that was required. TFTC CATONY!
Found it every one can see you it in a very open place next to a busy road happy hunting

Rumbled down the thin black line late last night through the Big Smoke towards the Sunderland Shire and uncharted Territory to try my hand at finding a few caches there in the cool of the dark. Thanks to all who made my evening memorable, Thanks for the adventure

It all depends how you look at it. Very busy highway it feels weird standing out in the open writing in the log.
Definately needed to be at my stealthy best. Another great cache on this great series. TFTC.
The first part of our 6-week-journey in Australia took us from Sydney to Melbourne and also led us to this hiding place.
Thanks for hiding it

Easy park & grab with traffic flowing at a completely different rate than this cacher.
Australia and a few cache attend this trade for a smiley. Thanks for the nice round, so I could get to know the area better.
Lots of cars nearby but hopefully timed it okay so as not to arouse suspicion. Thank you for the cache and many greetings from Germany - Moorhelmi
a fairly quick find thanks to the hint .. that traffic does roar past sometimes though! TFTC
Second for the day - quick grab while the nearby lights were green. Took trackable to move on TFTC
This is one of my favourite kind of hides. Easy to retrieve and not easy to spot by muggles.
Pity I'm fresh out of tradables.
TFTC CATONY ... on to #16.

Found this one with smirkwood and illogic. had a nice chat about various caching related topics. tftc
No chance of getting this one on the sly but hid my intentions well.
Very busy spot, probably 4 in the morning would be the best time to get this one.

After attending an event in Wollongong earlier, I was headed home to Newcastle when I decided to make a short detour to find a few caches in the series. With the light starting to fade, the cache was spotted in the likely place.
Gratias CATONY.

Early Saturday walk while my daughter was doing swimming squad. I couldn't just walk past a cache without grabbing it could I?

I had the day in Sydney for work but that didn't stop me grabbing a few caches in the early morning or after I'd finished my work commitments.
I grabbed these few around Sutherland as I headed up. Having one eye on the many muggles that were out exercising or heading to work just heightened the thrill of the chase.
I had to wait for the trafffic lights and queed traffic to pass so I could get this one.
Thanks

Found this during a lull in the traffic, you just have to wait for the lights to work in your favour. Thanks for the hide.
This was a quick find for the last of our 10000 Steps series this time around. Thanks Catony for some well placed hides and for giving us some local knowledge about a small part of the shire. It was great to find a cache container that was large enough to leave a swap in. A Favorite Point to Catony for placing this series.
A nice quick find - great to show a friend who lives nearby what it's all about!
Another luckily quick find with Gentleman Assassin, hopefully the cars were all going too fast to notice! TFTC
Up from Canberra visiting the family for the holidays...so why not take advantage of top weather and spend the day on a geomission around The Shire?
Nope no joy for me here. Another DNS (Did Not Start) due to peak hour traffic. I'll relegate this one to my growing list of caches to grab on a night time run next time I'm up

#700.1 0945hrs quick nab on the bicycle. So many car watchers when the traffic is waiting for the traffic lights.
On Boxing day, I found all of the 10000 steps caches. Had an amazing day, and a lot of walking
Thanks for a great series! Best regards from Denmark

found it with Dogboy_56 on a 33 degree day Easy find Dogboy had this before i even got close with the gps
I had to keep moving from where I intended to cross the street because of traffic. I felt like I was playing the old video game "Frogger". I finally made it across the street and realized I was at GZ. The container was rather difficult to reach, but with the assistance of a nearby stick, I retrieved it, signed it, and put it back [but not quite so far]. TFTC. Greetings from Arizona.
This one took a bit longer to extract than appropriate.
A simple hiding spot, but it was wedged further in than expected so my forearm disappeared for a moment next to the busy road.

Walked along to this cache.
Oh. There's some juggles nearby - there were two parents across the little road with their boy biking around in circles nearby. They were looking at us and wondering what we were doing, and other than telling them, there was one thing to do. Distract them while we grab the cache.
So I gave the geoboy my camera and instructed him to take some photos. They were hopefully having their attention on him, wondering why on earth he was taking photos of the random road (though truth be told most of the photos were of the lens cap!! ) while I grabbed the cache, signed and replaced.
Glad we didn't try to wait the muggles out as when we passed some time later after completing the series, they were still there!
Thanks CATONY.

Cleared out the cobwebs ! Decided to take the long way home to Canberra from my work visit to the big smoke. Saw the 10k steps and wished I had time to walk instead of driving by. But still a very enjoyable side trail.
TFTC CATONY,
What a great afternoon to undertake the 10,000 steps series. Attacked it with Muggle friends and nana nel. This was our 2nd find in the series.
Visited a group of trackables to get some excercise.
