Logs
Had time on my hands early afternoon and decided to look for two or three caches in the vicinity of this cycleway. Took a moment or two to spot this one. Unfortunately the logsheet is wet and started to disintegrate as I endeavoured to extract it from the container. Landed up taking a photo instead! #7460. TFTC.
Really cool container. I've never seen anything like itBeware, there is an electric fence
4th today. Once we got to gz we saw a geotrail so followed it. It turned out it lead right to the cache! Signed log and rerolled up + replaced cache.Nice cache. After parking by the underpass and walking down to this spot, the cache title makes more sense- I love the murals, they're very cool.
Such a pity about the unwanted graffiti though. People
A nice easy find with good coordinates and hint on a lovely morning walk

No 3 for today's walk around Te Puna Wai to exercise the daughter's dog.

In Christchurch for a couple of days before heading to Hamilton on a wee road trip.
Today's adventure took me along the Cycle Track before going around Ngà Puna Wai Sports Hub and the Canterbury Agricultural Park.
Quick find but log is full. Managed to sign my name up the side TFTC

Hahaha I love the three distinct desire paths going up to the hint items.
Could do with a new log and possibly a zip tie if the next finder has one handy. The containers little loop is beginning to deteriorate.

It wasn't my intention to be caching today, but an unfortunate set of circumstances led to my wife (NZDi) and I getting flown down to Christchurch in an air ambulance to fix up a botched spinal operation done at home. Today NZDi is back on the operating table and to take my mind off things I went out and found a few caches. I am staying at a motel on Lincoln Road and when I looked at the geocaching map the caches along this trail stood out as being a good target to get.
It was only when I got to here that I realised that I had DNFed this cache, the previous cache and the next cache on a previous visit to Christchurch when attempted from the other direction back in December 2017. I thought this was going to be another DNF until I viewed a previous finder's image. Once I knew what I was looking for, I modified my search pattern and soon found it.

A quick and easy find. When there was still partly cloudy, when there was still no rain, I put my hand on the cache.

Same as Rincewind3 here - I have no idea how I missed that last time!
DNF now turned into a smilie.
Candy floss is something I haven't had for a long long time. Not sure I want to have it though anymore, it's just sugar and it's just messy. In Latvian it's called cukurvate (sugar-cotton).

Great place to practice bike riding. Took a bit of hunting and the hint, but we found it
I have no idea how I missed that last time! I'm actually glad I did, though, as it meant I had a close one to do after my late shift. The cache and log are fine. As mentioned before the split ring is rusty and had stretched, but I just squeezed it shut a bit more. It'll be fine for a bit longer.

Sun was shining straight on it! Grass has recently been cut leaving very exposed. Put back a tiny bit closer to the post for cover. Attachment is completely rusted out and needs urgent attention! Tftc
