Surprised that there has been such a succession of DNF's on this one, except for one recent find (that is absolutely correct - the name was on the log sheet). Decided to replace the log sheet whilst here to save another trip in the near future.
My gps had me bouncing everywhere but once found it was a fight with the ant nest TFTC
very very hard, looked everywhere but maybe we just didnt look in the right places! thank you
Found by Mary and David at 12:40. Took us quite a while. M wanted to give up, but David persisted. What history that we would never otherwise known about. Gets a FP from us. Our thanks to BettyBoo3747.
On my way home from a trip to the North East and my phone suggested this route onto the B300 rather than M31. I'm always keen to take the road less travelled so here I am, and it's helping our D/T ratio. TFTC
Another great bit of history that could’ve been lost thank you for bringing us here TFTC
Arriving near GZ we realised that the GPSr was pointing towards an empty area. We checked likely locations without luck and then widened the search and looked in some less likely places. Surprisingly we actually found the container quite quickly. Thanks to BettyBoos3747 for the cache.
Thanks for another piece of forgotten history.
Very quiet today, but it must have been a hive of activity in its hey day.

So quiet today, hard to imagine the noise and activity in year’s gone by. Thanks for sending us here. Thanks for the cache.
Today we moved from Brown Brothers Wine camping area to the showgrounds at Benalla.
This morning was caching around the town & in the afternoon we took a pleasant drive down to Tatong visiting many historic locations. We finished the day doing the AL Tatong Artworks
Thankyou BettyBoo3747 for placing this cache.
TFTC. Our last cache find in Tatong. Took a little longer than necessary to locate this well hidden cache. Lina’s eagle eye spotted it.
Lovely day out caching. A quick stop off before heading into Tatong. Quick find.

Just a couple of wheels and a sign to mark the spot.
Poked around everywhere before looking more carefully. Yup, there it is!

We had to head to Bonnie Doon for the day so Natgirl could check on the horses at our Family property there so this gave Me a few hours to go caching so I invited My good mate Omegaman1971 along for the day to get a few more caches in the North East and to go do the Lab at Tatong.
This is one of the caches we found on our travels. A quick find was had here.
Thanks BettyBoo3747 for the cache.

Got the call from Rebel Acts regarding going to Bonnie Doon and putting some smiles on the map, couldn't think of anything better than caching on a nice Saturday.
Cheers for the cache.
Cheers for the cache.
This was a much quicker find thanks BettyBoo. Log signed and cache returned. TFTC
Heading north, we stopped into the small town of Tatong to enjoy the labcache as well as the 2 trads here. Breathing a sigh of relief after reading the hint we concentrated our efforts in the not so obvious location and came up with the goods quickly.
Thanks BettyBoo3747 for the history and the placement here.

Snuck away for a few days camping with a muggle mate checking out a beautiful new spot. Unfortunately all good things come to and end and while the camp is over the caching journey home begins!
Had a little look around the historic area and found the cache after looking in a couple of spots. Great history here.
Thanks BettyBoo3747 for the cache.

It looks like the wombats like this area as much as we do. Thanks for the cache. Love this area and look forward to exploring it more.
Mr ILT and Dalerious were out for a bit of bush walking and FTF hunting now that the recreation restrictions have been lifted.
Cant drive past a cache and not stop.
Thanks BettyBoo..

The last for the day on my way home from the Pi(e) Day event at Seymour.
All of these station caches I had assumed were places that were originally sheep stations. Until today!
Thanks for highlighting them BettyBoo3747 by placing caches here.

Day 2 of batching and so my aim today was to beat my previous record for a single day - which stood at 50 on a day around Beechworth and the Murmungee Basin in July 2018. Not a very big target (I am to get my first 100 day later this week) but hoped to get to 51 to make a nice round number (2300). So the plan was to load up the blue grader with CDs (not much sport on today) and head to a place I hadn't cached previously - Benalla. A good number of caches in close proximity and the opportunity to explore an area I hadn't visited before (other than a drive through on the freeway). Got away later than I wanted (though I needed the sleep) and finished in the dark (last was signed in the headlights) but in the end achieved my target (actually got 54) with a few DNFs (though only 1 logged) and some clever caches found and some nice places visited.
Decided to do the slight diversion to Tatong to get the two here. AS I pulled up I realised the GPS would be no help here - was almost on the road, and then when I read the cache notes I thought I might be in for a struggle. Hunted around the usual spots and then widened the search area and s few somethings caught my eye and then I went that might just be one of those - and indeed it was. Log signed returned as found and on my way.

After a fair bit of searching Craig finally came through with the goods. Nice area. TFTC
Out for a drive with my hubby and even though it was a very cold and wintery day, we took the opportunity to take to some of the back roads and grab a few stay finds, along the way.
An interesting little piece of history out here. It was a busy little road, so we had to wait for the passing muggles, to make this easy enough find.
Thanks BettyBoo3747 for all the effort of placing the cache for us to find and doing the maintenance to keep it in play.

We've now cached out Tatong! A little bit of a sneaky hide and a little bit of history. Noice.
Had to look a lot closer for this one ...seeing a couple in the immediate area it was clear which one was a little different ...
A quick find here thanks to a very handy hint.
A gentle spot of rain fell as muggle daughter and I enjoyed caching in the reprieve of yesterday's swealtering 45° heat.

Get out of jail card is running out, we are due back on the farm today. Our mini tour from Porepunkah has taken us to the Murray River, Bendigo trams, J Block in Ararat, and back via so many gold mining towns, I would have to refer to our map to list all the towns.
Day 14 - Murchison (somewhere beside the Goulburn River) to Porepunkah
The last "station" was muggled by roadside sprayers, so this one was even I was more determined to find. Easy rocks! Thanks BettyBoo

Found with Jack, Chloe and Mia.
Looked for over 5 min and gave up jumped in the car to leave. Read a few comments and gave it one last look and luckily found it.

Went out on this freezing day to do a cache checking run around the Tatong Area. Checked them all and did maintenance as required.
Called past and replaced the full log sheet with a new one. All good to go.

Thanks again BettyBoo3747 for another historic spot.
The log needs replacement... it's full as!
The GPSr were dancing, but it didn't take us long. Thank goodness we didn't have to dig the ant nest up... see photo.

Found along with snaphappy, TR! and Helian as we journeyed around Mansfield and surrounds. We had a really lovely day, enjoying our day out, having a look around, taking in lots of history, coffee's, lunch, and a bit of caching. My thanks to BettyBoo3747 for the cache.
Day 2 of the Mansfield Catch Up.
Joined today by Helian, however we lost TheEmpire. So today’s group consists of SnapHappy, Sully, Helian and TR!
Got up this morning and headed out to grab a few caches with the group.
Grabbed this one

We got it! TFTC. Took some looking but once found we can't believe we almost missed it. Nice hide
Found. Nice to find this one quickly after failing at the nearby Timber Trolley. Luckily it was quiet around GZ so a quick sign of the log and I was on my way again. TFTC
I remember searching for a cache here once before and not finding it. Was it this one? I don't know. Either way I got it this time.

Have visited this feature before some years ago but the area looks somewhat different. I remember it being in a bit clearer area and more on the road bend but I guess as you get older making up memories goes with it
And probably the few years since I been here the surrounding shrubbery would have grown significantly.
Cache found without hassle.
TFTC, Cheers.

Was scared stiff when my workmate drove off the road to this one. Had visions of calling a towie to get out of the bog, and the please explain would be a tad awkward. No problem as it turned out.
Nice short drive out of Benalla, chasing a few more smilie's. I suggest using the GPS as phone reception out this way can be on the week side.
Great hide, easy find, pity the rail line is gone coz this would make a great rail trail.
Cache in good condition.

Another late trip to Melbourne. It was just after sunset here and I thought it might pose a problem, but the geosenses were working.

Found with the Punjas and crew. Very clever placement, we looked at the spot several times before we found. TFTC
It didn't take long to find this one. It was what I thought it might be at first, but to find where it was, was the thing. Well hidden, thanks BB3747
Another find on a very warm geo cacheing day. As I am not familiar with area we are enjoying our day . Thank you for placing it here. LS
A couple of metres of train track and a rusty old bogie (train, not nose ). If it wasn't for this cache who would have even known they were here, let alone a train station from the distant (!) past.

Out for a big day of caching on a brisk winters day with fellow cachers Biggles of OZ and Mrs Biggles. Another easy drive by cache even though it was in the dark. Number 8 for the day. TFTC TNLN
Great cache, took a while as I was looking everywhere but where the GPS was telling me. Then I twigged. Thanks BettyBoo, it challenged me!
Finally crossed this one off the list Doc got his hands on it and we quickly signed the logged. Sometimes we really do overthink these things. TFTC
This one literally appeared out of nowhere. Further examination showed us its clever home. Good pickup clever monkey. [^] TFTC signed log then rocked on down the road.
Awesome love finding a DNF't cache. All is well cache in good condition with high quality materials used. Great morning to be out caching. Thanks BettyBoo
I walked around and scratched my head but couldn't fond it. I will return and try again next time I am visiting the outlaws.
Suscoe's 11th find of the morning as we headed out along this delightful valley.
A clear sky and a steadily climbing temperature followed us.
Well we arrived here and enjoyed another piece of history.
Cache soon found and signed.
Thanks to BettyBoo3747 for showing us another important location.

One of 21 caches found today during a big three day cache run, up to and around Kelly country which included Benalla, Tolmie, Beechworth and Glenrowan. A great three days spent exploring and discovering with a fantastic group of fellow cachers, which we collectively called ourselves 'The Kelly Gang'.
Jacko83 had jumped in the car with me to find a few caches as we made our way to Greta. We made a short detour to grab a few caches before meeting up the the rest of the gang. A quick stop anf find here and we were on our way. Thanks for the cache.

Second find for the night after a good meal at nearby tavern. This is a great part of the world, even on a cold wet night.
On the way home from a motorcycle event at Jingellic, nsw, we found this one. Tftc.
