Couldn't find it. The hint needs to be made better as it doesn't help in the slightest if you're going to make it a level 3, give it a better clue than one obscure word
Quick find with Bogonghazy and Geo dog. Spent a week up in the Mildura area caching and golfing. Last lot of caches on our trip home. Thanks for placing the geocache
Wow that cod cost $35,000! Anyhoo while looking for this cache a gardener was fixing an irrigation solenoid when Mr Suelee came up with a chair hidden in the plants. The gardener then says we cant have things like this here and goes and puts it in the back of his Ute . Minutes later a ? homeless man appears and wants his chair back. This meant we had a fortunate distraction and log signed and out of there. Tftc
Couola trips around the big fish before it was found. Lid no longer on container, but otherwise still good.
Our 6th DNF in and around town today. On a brighter note we got to add plenty of steps to our total so far. Over 8 klms walked looking for them.
We missed this one yesterday, even with the help of a passing muggle, but there were quite a few people around that hindered our search. While Mrs SKI was shopping for some groceries Mr SKI returned and made the find while no one was about. We headed out in the car today to cache in the areas surrounding Swan Hill. It was an interesting journey as we traveled through varied farming country, some fruit, crops and scrubby areas. The caching was mixed with straightforward finds and a number of DNFs as we battled the GPSr on some, and others spot on. Many D/T ratings were spot on, but others definitely misleading.A successful if at times frustrating day nonetheless.Thank you for your efforts in creating and maintaining the cache Richie3Blue3Geokids.**SKI Pair****
Moving on today Seam Hill to Cullulleraine, heading home after the Canberra Geobash. TFTC
We live at the Murray Mouth in SA. Glad we don't have Murray Cod this big at our end of the River. Fun Cache put here to make you stop and visit. TFTC
We really appreciate Towns that cater to Travelling Tourists. We found a Parking Spot nearby, Dedicated "Only to Vehicles over 6 meters" and so we were able to easily park our 8 metre Motorhome and also noticed another area Dedicated to Caravan Parking here too. So after finding the cache we were able to Stock Up with some Supplies from ALDI too. Well done SWAN HILL. We will definitely be back.
Out and about caching today while travelling from Swan Hill to Echuca. Arrived at GZ and in short time found cache. Signed log. TFTC
The Booos are on a road trip to South Australia for the Mega Event. We stopped by to the another big thing And grabbed the cache while here Thanks Richie3Blue3Geokids for placing this cache.
I found this cache with The Booos during our trip to Adelaide A quick find here today TFTC
Full time Nomads, travelling around Australia since 2014. This is our first visit to Swan Hill and there is sooo much to see and sooo many caches nearby, leaving us spoilt for choice. We headed out early this morning hoping to beat the heat. Very unsuccessful at that and pretty unsuccesful days caching too. Lots of DNF, feeling pretty sad now. Tired, hot and grumpy we gave up just after lunch. We did manage to find this cache. TFTC Richie3Blue3Geokids [^]
Didn't manage to find on our way up to Broken Hill, but grabbed it on our way home
Found on shot number two after a weekend up in broken Hill. A slightly challenging find at first but some observation of the other side helped with the find. TFTC
Went out today to check on this cache and it is still there, all nice and dry and just waiting to be found again. Thanks and Cheers.
Came here for the big thing, stayed for the cacheWas not in the obvious place, but one of the Geokids found a cap gun there. Walked around and saw the spot instantly. Had a few DNF at our last stop so this was a nice way to start our hunt in Swan Hill. TFTC
Day 10 of our west to east adventure. Today's leg brought us from Adelaide to Swan Hill. After checking into our accoms, a short.rest and a shower we headed out to check out the town. Stopped by here to check out the big feature and nearby train station, sot his was a passing find. Thanks for the hide Richie3Blue3Geokids
Time for lunch.. but were not having fish, maybe some hot chips and chicken!! Our road trip continues, Adelaide to Mooroopna. It really is an adventure, with LB, locus cache & Rex, me and GeoCleo. TFTC Richie3Blue3GeokidsKeep smiling
Heading home from Mildura to Wollongong. We made sure we had the time to make a few cache stops to break up the journey.Cheers
Day 27. A last minute plan had been hatched to make my by way to QOGM. Very little planning had been done but a very rough outline was in place and it was going to be a day by day trip. After a very late night stop just outside of Swan Hill it was off to Longwood today for a few days of camping with friends before finally returning home. A few key stops though along the way in Swan Hill, Echuca and Shepparton.A quick find here at this giant fish! Thanks Richie3Blue3Geokids for adding this cache to the worldwide collection for us all to enjoy.----------------------------------------------------------The 12 Days of Cachemas series is now live. Check out the list of caches and work your way through the series. Day 2 of Chook and OzHockeyChick's "QOGM-consolation" roadtrip, targeting caches in three states over four days of fun, friendship, laughter and adventure. This was a DNF for us way back in 2017 when we were last in the area, so it was great to finally turn that frown upside down today. TFTC Richie3Blue3Geokids.
With a huge portion of the Victorian caching community enjoying their pilgrimage north to Longreach, chook(nchunk) and I decided to plan our own little mini-adventure, targetting adlabs, solved puzzles, faves, TDOCs and anything else that piques our interest along the way. Day Two: Jerilderie, Swan Hill, Mildura, Merbein. Finally made it to Swan Hill, where the virtual and this trad were first on our list. Great hiding spot! Thanks for bringing us here by placing this cache, Richie3Blue3Geokids ~~
It is still there. Went and checked on it this morning. Cheers. It's all nice and dry and just waiting to be found again.
No luck finding this one today, although it was a bit busy to really have a good look. Luckily there was a virtual as well that I could find.
A quick find in a fun location. High fives all round for this experience - the kids LOVED the cod. We’ve got a family quest to see all the big things on the Gregory’s map - cross this one off! FP from us! TNLN TFTC
Decent feed across the road, followed by a reasonably quick find with The Rat. Trust your gut not the GPS !! TFTC guys, the fish was fun after a long day's drive
Found while on our winter sojourn into Victoria. Visiting wonderful sights, learning history of the area and finding smileys.

Found with Joolay, kittykatch and Nibletricecakes on the penultimate day of our trip to Mildura. Today we are travelling from Red Cliffs to Numurkah finding random caches, trigs and various other items of interest. Thanks to the cache owners who made our travels interesting.

I joined a group of Canberra cachers to tackle the caches around Mildura. On our way home to Canberra now. Joolay made a quick find here. Thanks for the hide Richie3Blue3Geokids

Chooo ooo [Found] with dty73 youban on our mini Mildura invasion! Thanks Richie3Blue3Geokids!
Driving homeward bound after a great time caching in Mildura with friends.
Youban, Tankengine and I decided to pick up a few caches as we went, but with such a long drive we couldn’t get them all and so saved some for another day.
This cache: Took us a bit as our phones kept swinging around. But Tankengine went straight to it and we soon had our names in the log. Tftc!!!

A plan was devised by Phetlern and Suscoe to do a caching trip around Swan Hill.
Geoturtle37, Papi4506 and ourselves were invited to go along.
Day 3. A lap from Swan Hill to the country side and back again.
Unless otherwise stated - all good here.
All caches signed as the 'B Team', 'DGP' or 'The Drovers'. Replaced as found.
Many thanks for placing this cache, Richie3Blue3Geokids, and for Phetlern & Suscoe for the invite.

Suscoe and Phetlern were heading to the Swan Hill area and asked The Drovers, Geoturtle37 and myself if we would like to accompany them. We have a number of DNF's that need redemption so were pleased for the invite. Always helps when you are with someone that has already made the find.
Thanks for placing this cache for us to find.

This was a quick find but that might have been because we were with others that had found before. Thanks for the cache.
#17868 - 2:52:00 PM; Heading over to Mildura via Echuca with the geohoney to wrap up some family business, making a few stops along the way to grab a cache or two as we passed. After a pleasant evening in Echuca, we continued west after spending some time taking in the sights around the Port. Stopped off in Swan hill for a bite to eat and to refuel the geomobile and dropped by the big fish as we were heading out of town. After collecting the virtual, I spotted this cache on the map. Managed a quick find in the logical spot! TFTC Richie3Blue3Geokids
Sometimes it pays to get going early... we were pleased to find the big cod was not getting hammered with sight see-ers and had heaps of parking. We had a nine year DNF on Arthur and were keen, even desperate, to turn it around. Last time muggles were giving us a hard time to search... not today. A sneaky hide definitely worthy of the mighty murray cod. TFTC Richie3Blue3Geokids.
I could see a geotrail but only had a quick look between muggles. Really didn't get to do a proper search today or under cover of darkness. There were muggles each time so I gave up.
Time to get back on the road for home, was passing through after attending Rutherglen MEGA.

Checked on this cache very early this morning while out on a bike ride. The cache is all fine and in good condition. Cheers.
My goodness.
We suspected this area but missed it on the first pass. Was not in till the second pass and we were on either side of it… not realising that it is in a spot you would know is there until you get in really close and realise there’s more to it!
Bingo.
So happy, as, as usual we spent far too long looking.
TFTC and we love the fish.
Mrs Riddell thinks she has been here looking a long time ago as well!

The 'Big" thing. We love finding the 'Big' thing is the town, if they have one. We had been here before caching days. Back here again, took a bit of searching and looking, was near the end of the day caching, getting tired, but all good we found it! TFTC
Found It!
This took a lot of searching to find. The occasional person wandering past for a photo with the fish didn't help either. Eventually I put my hand in the right place and found the cache!

All fixed. Replaced the wet log with a new dry one and put it in a new plastic bag and put the cache back in it's right spot so that it wont get wet cheers sparra0907.
Found this cache while out caching with Goosenegg and stainless steel rat.
Today was a drive from Mildura to the Mega site in Whittlesea
Thank you for the cache.
All caches stamped with "Team Tassie"
November 2022 was planned as a trip to the Mega in Melbourne, so we flew from Hobart to Adelaide to find quite a few caches that we had missed last time. Some great caches were found, but the planned boat trip was canceled due to the weather. No matter the showers we found quite a few caches on the trip (Around 600) including a number with high Terrian values.
The drive-through down the Murray river on the NSW / Victoria border showed the impacts of the current floods. A number of caches planned were canceled due to the flooding. Unfortunately, many of these caches will have been lost to the flood. The Mega, as per the whole week, was on and off a wet time, even so a number of caches were still found with Goosenegg, Stainless Steel Rat, Whitewebbs and Tassie Trekkers

A bice tow for one deal hear with a traditional and a virtual. Thus trad took us a bit of time un suddenly it was quite literally staring us in the face.
Thanks Richie3Blue3Geokids
The last day of our Drive from Adelaide to the Whittlesea mega and a stunning day. We were amazed by the flooding in some areas but had heard about it prior to the drive.
It’s become a tradition to fly to a Mega via somewhere else so Stainless steel rat, budgietas and I flew from Hobart to Adelaide a week before the big event and, after a few days around the city, worked our way up along the Murray (where we could due to flooding) via Waikerie, Mildura, Swan Reach and Echuca before heading down through Shepparton to Whittlesea where we caught up, and cached with, a few other teams including Tassie TrekkersWhitewebbs, 1toolman and icybeetas.
Thanks Richie3Blue3Geokids

On our way to the mega and went via SA just so we could finish off the OYB series, We did these with TT and marked our territory with a stamp that said Team Tassie, most of the caches we found in good order and those couple that weren't we fixed up as best we could with what we had to hand.
All found now well till some more come out anyway!
Another year, another Victorian Mega, so where do we fly into, Adelaide like you do, after a few days in the city we ventured out into the wilds of SA before heading Northeast towards the border (You remember the name of the town, don't you?) before crossing over we teamed up with Tassie Trekkers and we all finished off the OYB series.
Our attempts at a few caches as we moved South that were near rivers were as half expected we were thwarted by floods so we didn't get to those but added the odd on in here and there.
At long last we arrived in Whittlesea for the Mega late in the evening of Friday 11th and after a quick event headed to our accommodation for the next few days. While in the area we explored the area finding caches all over the place and we even got to meet up with our Victorian ex Tassie cacher 1Toolman who traveled up from down South to join us for the day
Thanks for the cache.

Quick find while Jen was shopping.

Adelaide to Sydney Road Trip
Day One: Gumeracha to Swan Hill.
Weather: glorious.
A cold night in Swan Hill. I’ve swung by the Virtual on the way to motel, stayed for the trad as it sounds like it might be easier when there is no one around (correct!). Cache has no lid and logs need some love. Thanks for the hide Richie3Blue3Geokids.

Pre-reading the previous logs over breaky this morning, and having already done a driveby earlier, I had a hunch how to find this...
Well guess what, I was wrong, however what I had read made sense when up close. So the cache was found in a logical spot, of which there are two options...
Replaced between passing muggles..

Really wanted to find this cache at this really cool location but searched for awhile and I was getting a bit tired after walking a bit too far today so lucky I had my mobility walker with me today so I could rest for a bit but had a good look around but couldn’t find anything other then a used needle in the grass at the back of the fish yuck!
I really wanted to find this cool cache but I’m catching the train back to Melbourne tomorrow and won’t have time to look for it again. But I’m going to try and come back up here again one day soon so I can spend a bit more time in Swan Hill instead of two nights.
Great location and I’ll be back again soon!

Love big things and loving these virtual caches. No need to worry about muggles. Thanks for the cache.
Found on a week-long caching trip over to NSW and Victoria from Adelaide with gridge98.
Our main targets were the wherigo and challenge cache series’ around the Yass and Goulburn areas, although we also found quite a few other Unknown, multi, letterbox, virtual and traditional caches of interest along the way. We even managed to attend an event at Sutton and did a couple of caches just over the border in the ACT.
The middle of winter around the shortest day was probably not the best time to schedule our trip, particularly as we were camping. But despite a little bit of rain one night and sub-zero temperatures on another, the weather wasn’t too bad, albeit on the cloudy and cool side.
In all we covered about 3,300 km over the week and managed almost 350 finds each.
Thanks Richie3Blue3Geokids for the cache.

We happened to see a FTF on this one this morning so made the detour a little out of our way to this one, since the virtual is at the same location we found this cache here as well, a quick find was had as no one was around
Day 2 of e.gregory1 and I’s trip to Yass, NSW for a week away to find a few caches. Today we headed from Ouyen to Wagga Wagga, lucky enough to come across and FTF in Swan Hill and collect some good caches for the day.

We looked and looked, until Mrs G found a possible location but alas no. So we checked to see if similar feature was on opposite side and bingo cache found. Not sure what the significance of the hint . All good, cache in good order
Just as we were about to give up, the wife said “let’s check here but I don’t want to put my hand there so you do it”.
Boom!
Nice finish.

First find on our family getaway to NW Victoria these Easter holidays.
The kids weren’t happy with their parents putting them in the fish’s mouth… but they got over it.
The cache took a few minutes to locate but eventually found it in a typical location that I was easily able to reach up for.

After a busy week finding about 1000 wherigos in South Australia I made my way back home, covering almost 900km over 3 states in one day going the scenic route from Swan Reach to Swan Hill and then back south.
It was a beautiful sunny day to be wandering around country Victoria.
I've seen many of Australia's big things but this was my first sighting of the mighty cod. No cache was sighted, though - after searching the one side without success I went to the other side to find a family picnicking right next to the fish. That put an end to my search. Perhaps if the cache was the size of the fish I'd have a better chance of finding it .
Thanks anyway, Richie3Blue3Geokids - this one got away today but I'll be back for it.
