I was heading back to Richmond and Google routed me down this road instead of back though Westport. Of course that means more possible caches.
I made the quick turnoff from the road and got this one, too. The poor thing didn't look too happy with the pill bottle in that location. TFTC.

No Bull indeed! This one very happy in it's neat little spot. Delighted to find the weather report not very accurate today so we can go on our merry way in some sunshine. Cache is all good. TFTC
Found with NZDi. We are staying at Carters Beach Holiday Camp as a base for a few days geocaching on the Wet Coast. After travelling from Blenheim and setting up the caravan we had plenty of time for some caching in the late afternoon/evening. I had the new Kawatiri Coastal and Heritage trail of caches when I was looking at the geocaching map a couple of days ago so we did the first section of that this afternoon. After dinner we came out to mop up a few stragglers this side of the Buller River.
This was the fifteenth find find of the day and I was surprised to see a nicely themed cache container with a fresh log. Good to see some recent cache maintenance taking place.

*Thanks for putting out this cache for woolwood9 and I to find!*
SL **tm/ww NZ** (may just be a black smudge on the many wet or plastic logs)
Weather was quite bad again with several heavy showers of rain
*We soon had another good cache located! A local cop was watching us pretty closely here, he ended up following us for a while trying to catch us speeding but no customer for him!!*

Nice to be away on another geocaching trip with tmann421, travelling to a few places in the upper South Island.

A bit of a drive waiting for the weather to make up its mind - does it ever? TFTC!!
After an awesome four day hike doing the heaphy track we have two nights in Westport.. exploring this morning before we go for our underworld rafting experience..
nice quick find

Had a great drive around the block today Greymouth, Reefton, Westport plus a few side roads, a bit of rain, many thanks to all the cache placer's. Thanks Bitsprayer
We have completed the Cape Fouldwind Walkway and have picked up Toby to go exploring again. Quick snag and tag here. Cheers. No Bulls in sight.
Its off on another geotour this weekend with The Seagnoid, Zara and Toby. We spent last Sunday in Nelson collecting the gemstones from the Museum Heist, so this weekend we are on a Geotour to the Westcoast with The Seagnoid, Zara and Toby, to return the gems. Saturday we visited Denniston, Kawatiri River Trail and Tauranga Bay. The gems have been successfully returned to the Museum. So lets see what else we can find while here. Thoroughly enjoyed walking the Cap Foulwind Walkway Sunday morning.

Family (In Laws plus Sister & Brother In Law plus their kids!) holiday on the West coast (Hokitika and Westport). Staying at Carters beach; heavy rain throughout the morning meant a day in Westpot - fined up late afternoon so dashed out to walk around Cape Foulwind. Stopped here for a quick find and sign amongst the puddles! Cool cache, road name & said hi to the cows over the fence. Cheers!
Down from Northland, visiting the South Island on a 7 day caching and sight seeing trip. The main object was to find the last four CANZ caches, finish off my D/T grid, fill as many spaces as possible in my Jasmer grid and then concentrate on special types, solved puzzles, completed challenges and those with good numbers of favourite points, plus maybe a few extras that were close to any of our stopping points.
The trip started off on a good note, with our rental cache mobile being little more than a week old and only 109 kms on the clock. It certainly had a few more by the time we returned it..!
Day six today and heading off from Westport to Greymouth. Decided to detour via Cape Foulwind and pick up a few local caches first. Stopped here for this one after visiting the cape. Definitely no bull here... TFTC

A nice and quick find, hahaha to the novelty container. Cheers.
Today we pottered around Westport, geting some of the nearby caches. Then off to Hokitika for the night. Great weather and a lovely drive.
Thanks to all the CO's for placing and maintaining these caches. Cheers.

Got myself into gear logging the caches found on a trip earlier in the year. A quick grab and sign TFTC
After doing the Cape Foulwind walk we mooched around the districts smaller roads finding caches including this one - signed log thanks for the cache
I had just parked up the snail's shell up at a POP on the Greymouth road a few kms out of Westport and seeing that the sun was still shining I decided to venture on down the road to sign off a few caches.
I replaced the log here.
Cheers for the cache.

This one bought a wee smile to our faces. I have seen a pig is a similar predicament. tftc
The forecast for today said rain, but we headed for the coast regardless. That was the right decision but as the afternoon went on there was the occasional shower. They seemed to start very suddenly, then end just as fast. Only really a slight inconvenience but we probably ended up with slightly fewer caches than we might otherwise have. I was thinking you were right, there were no bulls along this road despite its name but I think we might have seen one. Just the one. TFTC .
Amusing cache container. Unable to sign existing log as it was a pile of wet mush, so we left a new log. Found with ChisL.
A long weekend proved to be just what it said on the tin; a weekend that was long. With mrs capperz trapped in work for 2 of the 3 days this weekend a plan was made to head over to the West Coast for some caching, with the added bonus of some fine weather too. Forecast was for clear skies and low 4, high of 15 degrees, which is some preferred caching weather. Also in possession of a geocaching map of Westport being virgin territory there was every chance of finding a 'few'.
A slight chance of one of 2 FTFs in Westport and the bait was dangled and too good to not take a swipe at. Headed off at 0830 on Sunday and got back around 1830 on Monday so a full on couple of days with park n grabs, beachside specials and a walk along the Cape Foulwind walkway (there wasn't any wind, and it wasn't foul so thinking of renaming it Cape Nicesun.
Day 2 of our trip and most caches were on the Western side of the Buller river. We've now done the Cape Foulwind walkway so now it's time to find a 'few' more before, and as, we head towards home.
Nice container and appropriate overwatchers in the field.
T F T C weenz, F P for this one

Pulled over to get our bearings andcwere right beside it. Just as well as it was raining again.
[green] Drove down Friday night for a three day wages to petrol extravaganza. Doing the Blenheim - Greymouth - Westport - Blenheim loop. Drove to Reefton Friday night so I could grab some empty log books early the next morning. That done its on with the main mission. An awesome three day experience, only about 30 caches per day, but two badge upgrades, weka, seals and penguins, an awesome coast road and coastal walk. Wonderful.
Now doing a few caches to clear out this side of the river (pointless, as I won't be clearing it out completely, but, there you go). Nice easy find, lots of cows nearby. One was very close!

Loved the container, and we certainly would not do with a bull what we had to do with the container. TFTC
Today we set out for a daytrip to Granity to grab some caches but ended up as far as Hector. A brilliantly hot/sunny but long day. A fun little well placed themed cache. When we picked it up it wouldnt stop relieving itself. It seems water accumulates in the stomach when it rains. But it sure was pretty funny. [red]A fav for the effort[/red]. Thanks for the cache

Yep, had to laugh as it was full of water which didn't look so good as it drained out.

I just couldn't help but be reminded of the Ramsbottom ad on the TV for this one. Gorgeous sunset tonight. TFTC #5396
A quiet drive early in the morning. No traffic for an easy find. Love the cache. TFTC
13021… A nice touch to a well camoed container, and that’s No Bull, many thanks for a fun cache.
Enjoyed the twist at gz. I had to pause and watch the local cow cockie about to feed some stoxk before I could safely return the cache to its hiding place.
Thanks weenz for the cache.

A quick find on the way towards Westport this afternoon. Loved the cache hide but grinned to myself a bit when I realised what I was doing to it to get the logsheet out... Signed log, TFTC
This cache is very cool. Had to take a photo to sent to another cacher (minus GZ of course). Found as we were watched by a herd of curious No Bulls (Steers). Thanks for the hide.
We never need an excuse to visit the West Coast so when there's new caches published and a grandson to take home we can easily combine both. A joint 2TF here tonight with Hazedarus on the way back from cape Foulwind. TFTC.
quick cache check trip, so wee diversion for some finds too. well named cache.thanks
