Returning to my nearby campsite after riding a small portion of the wilderness trail when I stopped for this one. A quick find but the blackberry is starting to be a menace at GZ! #7187. TFTC.
Loved this joke. As I was close by I continued my ride along to grab this cache. Would have been rude not too after the laugh.TFTC
In my world, that is a GOMDAW, (Get off me bike and walk over), as opposed to a RFMB (Reached from me bike)Cheers and thanks,W/
Ahoy there me hearties. Let me tell you a tale of a dangerous journey across a rough driveway. I was the captain of the vessel with two young scallywags by my side sailing the good ship Blackhouse. Whilst recording my earlier treasures from Fox and Hari Hari spotted the treasure marked clearly by an x on the opposite side of the road from our driveway whilst anchored in the area for the night. So I enlisted my crew (my son and nephew) and set out on our intrepid journey via my car to get a pen. Once at the site, the X was clear and retrieved quickly with two very happy (and cheeky) little pirates. Replaced as found. Tftc
Day 7 on our holiday in New Zealand. Today our tour is going from Fox Glacier to Punakaiki. We also visited this traditional cache, found it, and signed the logbook.

Had a laugh at the joke. Then I seen there was a nice new logbook that had been placed earlier in the day.
Quick find today on a stroll after the clouds cleared. Beautiful day for a walk! Thanks for the cache!
A stopover in Hokitika on the way to Wanaka for c family holiday. I left the noise (teenagers) at home and headed out for some quiet caching. A quick park and grab before heading back to the accomodation. TFTC

When Albi mentioned about his work commitments at Fox Glacier, as always we decided to make a trip out of it, but this time its a long over due overnight one. Spending quality time together, enjoying the drive, picking up some caches, small walks, and also cherry on top, a Heli ride woo-hoo.
Cache was easily found and its all good here. TFTC.

Almost finished for the day but stopped to grab this on on our way back to Hokitika after a day trip south chasing PWGT caches TFTC.
Found after driving from Christchurch over to Hokitika. Flat plains to the sky, into the foothills, over the pass, gorges and dense forest. Magic scenic country. TFTC
BaldEd and I had planned to ride part of the Wilderness Trail through the bush near Lake Mahinapua.
Just about home again after doing a big loop of 35 km on bikes. This is the last one for the day.
Cheers for the cache.

Tufty and I decided to cyclocache along that part of the West Coast Wilderness Trail between the Hokitika River Bridge and Tree Tops. After lunching at the Tree Tops cafe we decided to return to Hokitika via Woodstock.
This was our last cache on today's cyclocache ride. What an enjoyable day it has been. I've had 31 finds and only 1 DNF. Thanks gracie7 + Mum, the majority of them you have placed.

While Nanzie was signing the log the muggle that lives across the road stopped and asked me what was so fascinating about the post. He's happy for the cache to be there was just curious as to why so many people stop and go over to it. TFTC gracie7 + Mum

Found on a three day caching journey over to the West Coast. We really enjoyed the challenging hours spent in solving the many puzzle caches and now the signing off on the log books. We had a great spell of weather as we traveled along the many roads in the area. Many thanks to the various cache owners for placing and maintaining their caches. TFTC
#17814. I'm often pretty slack about reading cache descriptions, but happened to read this and was pleased I did (I read it out to Troodles as we were driving to GZ). Quick find once there. TFTC.
After spending the morning at the Hokitika gorge then Lake Kaniere, we had a cuppa and a wee rest back at our accommodation before heading into Hokitika for lunch and more caching .
This was the first cache stop on our way into Hokitika, and it was an easy find by following the geotrail . Log book is a bit damp but still signable. Had a smile at the pirate's tale. Thanks for the joke and the cache.

(# 5323). Today is day 2 of my West Coast trip. Weather wise the day wasn't to bad apart from an absolute deluge around lunchtime. No caching at the time as it was far to wet. Today was a trip to Hokitika then the gorge. A quick find. Everything in order. TFTC
Out for the afternoon exploring. Found this nice easy cache. Loved the joke gave us a giggle. Thanks for this cache gracie7 + Mum.
Family (In Laws plus Sister & Brother In Law plus their kids!) holiday on the West coast (Hokitika and Westport). After a fun day at Lake Mahinapua and Ross I ducked out quickly to find a cache or two before tea....with so much family time its a bit tricky to cache! Quick find and sign here - just on dark and without a torch and time for tea - it's time to head back to the family. Cheers!
This seemed to be a popular road today - I was passed by several cars as I found the cache. There was heavy dew, but all was good.
Thanks for placing & maintaining this cache, gracie7 + Mum.
(PS I really enjoyed the joke !).
