I cannot see any information that suggests to me that steps have been taken to resolve the issue/s associated with this placement - one or more of the following applies:
- Cache Owner unable to maintain cache
- No response from the cache owner.
- No cache to find or log to sign.
- It has been more than 28 days since the last owner note.
- Cache has been abandoned by cache owner/cache in disrepair
As a result I am archiving this cache to keep from continually showing up in search lists and to also prevent it from blocking other cache placements.

If there are components or remnants of the cache and you haven't already done so, please return to the GZ and collect the cache (or remnants). We don't want to litter our environment with Geotrash.
Should you wish to replace the cache after 28 days has passed please create a new cache listing so it can be reviewed as a new cache.

Had walked past here about 6 months ago and found the cache but never logged it in log book or on-line. Walked past again this time to log it, only to find it gone.
Yes this cache is definitely missing.

Things don't look good for the stash by the sounds of things. Disabling listing to save any more wasted time, it should not be hard to find. I'll have things investigated and rectified at the next opportunity.
A caching run around the city while the geowife and friends went to the tennis. Found a spot that would hide a micro but couldn't find anywhere a regular sized cache could be hidden. I'll look again next year, if it's still here then. Thanks anyway GazaC.
Last morning in Melbourne before heading for home. I had time for one last quick circuit around the river to pick up a handful of the caches near the accommodation while the geogals prepared for the day ahead. I had a pretty good shot at this one while there was absolutely no muggle activity about. Thoroughly checked both of the possible locations without success. Might need a check up by the CO?
McWillid and searched all possible locations and had a rough idea of what we were looking for after reading the logs and viewing the pictures but had no luck. Thanks anyway for the cache.
Hmm, no luck. Hot day, loads of muggles, a few seemingly good hiding spots but no cache.
Will have to return for this one

This one has really puzzled us. Narrowed in on what we thought was gz even with the gps bouncing around a bit. We were hunting around when a couple from Germany arrived. My husband is German so he began chatting away and we soon worked out we were all hunting for the same thing. So along with the German couple and our 3 geokids we tried to be as inconspicuous as possible and looked in what we thought would be all the obvious places....but no luck Will have to try again another day when we are back in the city.....maybe the Germans had more luck after we left?
What a pitty. The one and only normal-sized cache we was looking for today - we failed. When we arrived at GZ we met a family (sarejuergi ) doing the same like we wanted to do. Searching for a container. So 10 eyes inspected nearly every place where a cache could be. Patiently....
But at the end we didn't succeeded in finding the regular box.
We'll put it on the watchlist and will see what happens......
Greetings and a merry x-mas to sarejuergi. We hope you'll find it at least.
Greetings
globus from Germany

In Melbourne for a short stay over the festive season - great to find a good sized cache in the city. Thanks GazaC 4TC:)
First cache on my own. Took a solid 15 minutes to find but seemed obvious once I found it. TFTC
Wow - much bigger than I expected!
Thanks.

Finding the cache was actually quite difficult because the gps was a little dodgy, but from using a little bit of creativity helped a lot to find it.

For a urban cache this is surprisingly big, kudos to GazaC for the hide. Really informative listing. Thanks

During my work and travel year in Australia I'm trying to solve my 365 days of caching challenge. Having a moving home zone should make this definitely way easier.
I visited this area some more times and every time I only searched for one or two caches, always having the challenge in mind. Most times I started the hunt late in the eventing, so I could get at least two boxes around midnight.
Alice and me had been here some days ago after visiting the Skydeck, but unfortunately there were way too many muggles around so I came back today to get it. This time no waiting part was needed and I could grab the box fast and easy.
TFTC and greetings from Germany

Wow..what a great container in an urban location! A favourite from us! Took TB, Left Pathtag TFTC
Found! Number 4! This was our second of the night. About 10 mins walk from home so me and the GF went for a walk to find them. Thanks for the find guys!
As previous cachers state the GPS does bounce around a bit but if you use your head and the hint it should be fairly easy to find.

Found with Redgremlin!
A quick and nice find for a big cache in a city!
Perhaps we will go to the observation deck...a good way to appreciate a town when first visiting!

A quick find, not so easy to extract with muggles around.
We swapped a small TB for a larger one who needs to stay in Australia or go South.
--
Redgremlin and Lilousof on tour in the amazing Australia, doing as much as we can... Stop 8... Final stop... Melbourne. Objective: as much of the city as we can with the circle tram.
It's been great here... Thanks to all the hiders for your caches. It has been fantastic.

Found after some previous DNF's due to our iPhones leading us up the garden path. Current works in the area have no impact on locating the cache. Happy to finally tick this sneaky one off the list as we park at the nearby Eureka car park whenever we come into the city, and this one had been "eating" us for a while now whenever we came in. TFTC
The last cache in Australian was here in Melbourne.
A quick find and a big box here in the city.
Thanks for the cache.

Wow! Genuinely surprised at the size of the cache! Nice hide. Had to be stealthy as some coppers were across the road...TFTC
#1229 - Should have trusted my geoinstincts, and would have found this much sooner. Nice hide. TFTC and greetings from Vancouver Canada.

Found by geomum before I even had a chance to start looking.

Wow, thanks for the cache. Didn't see the size of it before I found it, I was looking for something a lot smaller.
This cache is the closest one to Travelodge hotel, where we have our last nigjt of the Australia holiday - back to Holland we go. What a surprising cache!

I love seeing bigger caches in the city! Shame I don't have a trackable with me! TFTC - Left you the Eight of Diamonds!
What a cache to be situated in one of the heavy traffic areas of Melbourne. Discovery of where it could be was very quick, it just took a long time to actually retrieve and return the cache, but it was worthwhile waiting. Worth a favourite point for the courageous placement. TFTC.
A quick find on my lunch break for our 150th cache! GPS was going a bit wacky so a little inspired guesswork led me to the cache. Dropped off lego brick TB.
We walked straight up to this one and plucked is it from its hiding spot.
Nice to see one this size in the city.

Having seen the tower from afar many a time, this was the first occasion that I had actually visited it.
During a wander around on foot early on Saturday morning, I mosied up and eyed a couple of likely spots. A quick look and I was able to spy the nicely sized container. With the log signed, it was safely returned to its neat hiding spot.
Thanks Gazac for placing the cache.

We headed into the city today primarily to go to the Earth Cache day event on the Yarra. We parked in Crown Casino ($6 for 5 or 6 hours) which was pretty good I reckon.
We had an hour to spare before the event so went a round-a-bout way there and gathered a few caches.
Luckily today not too many muggles around and I pointed to where I thought it would be and low and behold there it was. I acted as a muggle shield my my buddy did the signing and returning duties. Great having such a large cache in the city.
Thanks GazaC for the cache, the hunt and the fun.

Spiffy- and I were in the city for the Earth Cache event and decided to take the long route to enable us to collect a few others along the way. Spiffy- looked around and had a hunch on the hide and thankfully It was correct. TFTC
First geocache found in Melbourne (usually caching in Perth & WA) lots of muggle activity but disguised with my mum, aunt and Nanna - happy 80th birthday Nan! Tftc
Found with BearyOrganised and geokid. She came in useful as it doesn't look so strange when a child is looking up and underneath signs
Really good cache. Geocaching with Mic1981, geo granddaughter and muggle husband. Took us a while to find but Geokid granddaughter came in very handy for discreetly looking in awkward places without drawing attention to us. All good until she blew the party blower. Too much temptation for a 6 year old. Took Miss Liberty trackable. Very excited Mic1981's first trackable. Left shopping bag. TFTC. SL.
Great cache. I love large caches in the city! I also loved the little lego hat i had to make a swap and show it off (refer photo)
Dropped off the miss! So please for a bigger one after finding many nano and micros! Tftc!!!!
Just had dinner to celebrate our engagement today, around the corner at Bear Brass. Food was amazing by the way. Didn't take too long to find. Nice hide and the perfect end to a perfect day. (Unless we decide to do one more!)
Quick easy find made number 120 for me Swapped a matchbox car for a plastic mouse. Great finish to a lovely day. Tftc
Quick find. Kids did all they could to draw attention to us by blowing all the party blowers in the cache! Thanks.
Visiting the city for a couple of days and we had dinner not far from this place so quick detour afterwards to make the find.
Fantastic hide, in fact awesome for a city cache. Took travel big will drop it close to home.
I very much like to find well hidden regular containers in urban environments.
Thanks for the great cache near Eureka Tower.
