No trouble finding this cache. Such an easy find.I will apologize right now, because everything from here on is here solely for the purpose of padding the word count and winning that one hundred word diamond badge again. Somebody moved the goal posts. So many caches to find. So many caches to log. We find them, sign them and replace them. This particular geocache was found using one of the following GPS enabled devices, Garmin GPSr, Montana 680t, Oregon 650 or Dakota 20 and an Apple iPhone 11 using the marvelous Cachly app. Waypoints and paperless geocaching were downloaded via GSAK 9. Log prepared, checked and submitted using GSAK publish logs macro.Warning, this hobby can be addictive. It can lead to exercise, meeting new people and finding interesting places you might not have known existed otherwise. Beware: you may have fun. Apologies for the generic part of the cache log. Adelaide and South Australia Trip Christmas 2021/2022. Day 16. The next phase of my journey is underway. I am in Loxton. I was with Fitzy_1965, MinnieK, Sol de Lune and Smitten Granny to attempt to finish the On You Bike where-i-go caches. We have managed to solve them all before we arrived. Day 6 in the River land. As we had accomplished the On your Bike caches, the others headed back east to stop at Mildura for the paddle steamer caches, but I am based in Adelaide at the moment, so could not go. I spent the day out and about collecting caches in the region before heading to Lake Bonny and then Berri, finishing the day in Katarapko National park.
This trip to Loxton had been a year coming as I had missed out last year due to other commitments. The group had increased and the target list of caches was much higher. It had been a group effort to deal with all the jigsaw puzzles and then the Reverse Where-i-gos were sorted out with the various online tools. The trip was looking at risk as the COVID situation stretched and stretched, but at least SA kept to its plans to open the borders and we all jumped through the hoops required to get across the border. The weather was looking extreme as the journey approached and it did not disappoint. The daytime temps were from 36-42 over the days of this exercise and it made for some hard work and lots of water usage.
I ventured into Luna reserve to visit the caches here. It looks like a great area, and I should stop by for an overnight stop one day. Lots of great caches.

Sir_spectre and I had a quick getaway to the Riverland. We were targetting the less found caches. We found an assortment of caches, and as regular for us manged to replace containers for several and put some fresh logbooks in others. It was a rather hot weather for a weekend of caching but the air conditioned car gave us some relief.

last cache in the park. quick find. found the cache in 2 pieces, replaced cache.
Out with the Mogni for a short trip out to the riverland, only 3 days. It was hot first 2 days where 40 degrees and the last day was 33 degrees. Since the rules just changed about covid 19 testing before and after entering vic to no testing, we changed our plans on the way up and decided to go via Murray Sunset National Park. The idea was to find as many caches as we could that haven't been found recently most hadn't been found in 3 months. On day 1 we replaced 10 out of the first 12 caches, all broken container and 1 log book replaced, and by the end of the day had a heaped medium bin liner bag full of broken containers, the hot mallee sun doesn't do the plastic containers any good. Day 2 saw us caching around Loch Luna and lake Bonney which is way easier driving around here in the dry then in the rain like my last visit here. Onlt 1/2 a medium bin liners back of replaced containers today, people must fix the closer to the highway caches more often. On day 3 it was back in to the mallee country and home via Pinnaroo. Getting those " out of the way caches ". Plenty of dirt roads where driven down and many, many back sandy tracks taken. It was good to explore all the country areas and stay off the highway.

Caching has fallen by the wayside with everything that has been going on, work, lockdowns, blah, blah...so we needed to get away for a bit of R&R after lockdown so headed to Loch Luna for the weekend to refresh and cache!. Cache was completely disintergrated. We placed the book in abaggy to try and give it some protection and keep it dry. Unfortunately we didn't have any regular sized replacements. TFTC
Cache is completely disintergrated. We put the logbook in a baggy for protection, but will need owner intervention asap
Staying in Barmera for the night we were able to grab a few caches that we missed on our last visit.

Out for another day of sightseeing and caching with Biggles of Oz and Mrs Biggles. We were on our way to Lock 3 when we realised this road was not going to take us there, but as we had come so far on this very bumpy road we decided to continue and a least do the cache while we were here. Once at GZ we made a quick easy find. Now back over the bumps and back to the main road This was the twenty first cache of sixty two for our trip. TFTC. TNLN.
Wow. They "drove a Mazda 121" into here and elsewhere in this area? Given the state of the tracks the corrugations would have certainly shaken a few teeth fillings loose! 40km/h speed limit be damned. I wound it up to 70+km/h so we could "surf" over these ruts because travelling at or below the recommended speed was no good for the car.

Brodie, muggle partner and I were at Berri for an event yesterday at our 'home' for the weekend
Today was head for our real home day and I was supposed to be back in Adelaide by 6.30pm for a meeting but at 8pm, we were just leaving Barmera
There was just too many great spots to visit and caches to find
All up, 40 caches for the day (well, 40 after we had been to bed and slept ) and the last 2 were FTFs which required a small (about 20km) detour from our journey home.
Unless mentioned otherwise, please know that your cache and log book was in good condition.
Speak nicely to your car and it will take you almost anywhere!
My little Corolla has got my caching friends and I to some amazing caches like Radio Todd and Ewe Scab, when one of the guys in the car had his head in his hands thinking that we wouldn't make it
Today we had Harry Hilux, so it was all too easy to get here and find this cache

Out and about today at the Monash mammoth markets thought we better take the CatKids to find some caches while we where out and about. Lovely day for it. Love these cache hides right away from muggles and great to get the 4wd off the road for a cruise. TFTC
Have had a great time exploring Loch Luna and picked this cache up on the way out. You are right - this is a beautiful place. I saw the hidey hole and swore as I realised I'd have to reach in a fair way to get the cache. But reached in and grabbed it quickly, pulled my arm out and had a heart attack as I saw the large wasp on my my t-shirt sleeve. Gotta love little surprises like that. Was lucky though no stings; I probable gave it as much as a fright as it gave me! Anyway, cache was signed and replaced Thanks for cache and the adrenaline rush
After sleeping-in and visiting the bakery and the tourist information centre, we decided to drive through this conservation park this afternoon. An interesting place we'd never have visited if not for caching.

Now camped up at Plush's Bend for a few days it was time to head back towards Barmera to find some caches and explore the area.
Some very interesting history and some awesome scenic spots that Geocaching took us to today. [^]
We hadn't realised we could drive to the caches here in the reserve but on seeing the entrance from the nearby cache Go'n'do - Napper's Ruins we decided we should tackle these before the rain of the next few days. Quick find here, not surprised though with the current warm spell to find no campers in residence today.
Lol read the cache page here. Mazda 121's are awesome and go anywhere. We hired one and visited Mt Beauty in the snow season!
Thanks for the cache and for helping us explore this area
