Logs
In the area so decided to try this one. Checked every hint item as random GPS under trees. Repeat even further out until we decided it was not meant to be found by us. Leaving when tried one again oh look and it was the cache phew. No longer hanging should of read logs earlier. Thanks for this cache Hotspud.
Lovely wee reserve. One minute spent on the wrong tree, one minute on the right one. Container was wireless, but nicely wedged. Thanks and cheers from Grandalf(2618)
Spent a while searching for this one and after widening the search area it was a fairly quick find. tftc
I will check the cache and fix it so that it will be hanging again. Note I tend to ignore DNFs on this cache as it is always there but it is hard to find. I have been known to struggle to find it and I do the maintenance on it on behalf of the CO
TFTC. Too longer than expected, but I kept looking in the trees, and then it was steering at me. Wire has rusted and broke, but I wedged it in the tree. Hint was fairly good. GPS kept bouncing within the trees. Don't go in there with white sneakers on. Opps.
Couldn't find it. Maybe if I looked a little harder and for longer I could find it. Might come back here later
We had a long look around but didnt turn up anything. Im sure its there; these sorts of hides usually take me a trip or two.
I've tried for this one at least twice before. Today seemed a good day for another crack. Just looked (hard) and spotted the thing that was out of line with everything else. Bullseye!
When I saw it I really saw it!
So obvious once you look in the right place
Like pretty much everyone else it took a while for me to make this find-
Previous logs were helpful, though a couple led me on the wrong path (actually, too close to the path )
Slightly uphill from the seat, somewhat back from the path.

After searching most of the pittosporums and a few others, we noticed it as we were making our way out and preparing for a dnf. Tftc.
Took a long time searching in the bushes but with some help with some people who were also looking for geocaches we may have found it
Slightly out but located this time to avenge a dnf some time ago.
Last day in Chch for Ruru_NZ so we did a few round the Cashmere area first then headed towards the airport. These are all bonus caches as we have the required 500 points this time round

Managed to get away for a week. Let's see if Kiwicampnut and I can get through 2 mazes before I head home (achieved!). Nice to be where there are plenty of unfound caches!
All missions accomplished, so a bit of "see what we can find" before my flight out.
Along with Kiwicampnut, I DNFed this a few years ago, but don't seem to have logged it back then.
Another search today, and eventually she call out that she had it.
DNF avenged.
Thanks for the cache Hotspud

Took longer than it should have to locate. Used my phone's GPS which was very unstable in this location. Cache and log in good condition; TFTC
Yay! Now I've found a cache every day in May, and day 36 of 55 days of caching challenge. Looking in the wrong area at first but once corrected I spotted it quickly. TFTC!
Anudder bewdy morning in ChCh to get some in. Nice set hide, in full sight, but not that visible...Cheers!
Have done a maintenance check on behalf of the CO and the cache is still there. Was a bit worried when I saw that there had been some thinning out under the trees but all is good. Still not an easy one to find as it took me a moment today and I should know where it is
200th cache!
After not finding it last time I returned with mum and we managed to find it with a bit of help from the photo. Wasn’t where we were originally look though. Tftc

It wasn’t easy to spot! If you are sitting on the bench, take the path uphill to your right. The tree is next to the path.
Accidentally logged the wrong one so here’s this one nice quick find on a worm November afternoon
TFTC spent 10 mins in this sport gps all over the place very nice hide I enjoy these quite parks
I'm down from the Waikato for a few days visiting my elderly mother and picking up a few caches. Took me about 15 minutes to spot this one (I was looking in the wrong trees) and then I finally found it. Unfortunately it is broken and has no lid on it now, thus no log either. I have taken a photo of it if the CO requires it as evidence. TFTC
Nice find....great place for it a lovely place to walk through......no need to use the seat!.
Head height for me...
Thanks!

End of week, and I needed a bit of distraction after a long week and before an upcoming conference - so I went caching of course! Nice afternoon to be walking around. Finally sorted this one!!! Not the easiest to spot even this time of year. TFTC!!
This one was driving us mad, but finally we found it today. Without the recent note we would have given up today again, but at the end of the day we found the cache. So the third visit was successful, TFTC
A few trees, couldn’t find any wires on the tree type. Will need to return another day.
Found an empty black bag on the ground, but no cache. With the GPS signal very bouncy we need to come back and try a systematic search.
Today I did a big Geocaching tour to earn some smileys and souveniers.
Took some time to find this Cache.

Even with the hint this took a while as there were a few to choose from. GPS wasn't much good here but I eventually spotted the little container. I sent Mr7 in for it, thinking he'd like to claim the find but he wasn't quite tall enough so had to do a bit of scrambling after all. TFTC
A reasonably quick find for me as I did know what sort of tree I was looking for. Tftc
Well we did go round in circles for a while- I find it very hard to get my eye in for hides like this- but then I spotted it- and suddenly it seemed quite obvious!! tftc
takes a while for the eyes to adjust but well spotted by warfi. with c road not far behind. Thanks
We are house sitting nearby, so have been excited to be local to new caches. Did have to use the hint and a keen eye. TFTC! SL.

As they say, there are **ecclesiastical** things in the churches and there are geocaches in the reserves.
Came from the wrong side, so had to squeeze through a lot of branches but the cache was found surprisingly quickly.
Thanks for the cache!

Huffed and puffed my way up the hill and made the quick find in a deserted little reserve. TFTC.
The last day of our South Island holiday with tmann421 and collecting a few more caches while heading to the airport.
Found after a short search. TFTC
