Quick stop on the way south to Naracoorte caves . Easy find with a nicely engineered hide. All in good condition. TFTC
Yeeha! The Wild West is calling and Snips and Co and I are traversing along the Southern and Western Victorian borders.Today we will travel from Penola to Kaniva, hopefully finding a few geocaches in new LGAs and some scenic spots.Snips and co really really wanted this old geocache and i was really really scared by snakes in thigh high dry grass... luckily i remembered that snips and co taught me that pine trees destroy native undergrowth and it made for a much easier and visible approach.. through the thick prickly pines we made our way closer and it was then just two big leaps to the cache!thanks for keeping this oldie going.
Love it when everything makes sense once you find the cache! Nicely hidden, thank you Wilburwilde
Find # 15904Been a while since I've been out solo for a long trip. But things change over time. And I'm living the past.So with some time off work, I've jumped the border wall to chase down some long trails in South Aussie... don't know how many I'll get. But I've got quite a few downloaded. I do have a short hit list ( of 2) caches to help with a challenge. All others are just for the Adventure and countryside views. Armed with all the necessary TOTT from tweezers and magnet grab to 6m ladder and 8m fishing pole. I believe I'm prepared for all that I'll come across. (Just had to leave the Kayak at home )Day 7. Naracoorte to HomeA day to take in the sites of the Naracoorte area before jumping back over the border. To head for home. Grabbing the odd cache along the way. Cool little find in the bush TFTC wilburwilde
Travelling with iluvtrekking from our home state WA. After a chilly morning it has turned out to be a lovely arvo - at least got the puffer jacket off. Nice camo. Thanks for the hide
Travelling with richlink as part of our Annual Caravan Geocaching Trip.We are staying in Narracoorte for a few days, using geocaching as our tour guide. Thanks for the cache, wilburwild.
We tried to find this treasure a while but cld not find it. Today we did. Thanks for the hunt
On this sunny day, my friends and I decided to find this cache we searched for a couple of minutes until we found the cache. It was in an amazing spot TFTC!
No wonder there are so many favourites, it deserves the point. Although very hot, we enjoyed the walk through the park. We made enough noise to keep our leg less friends away. Thanks for the top cache
TFTC! 1 January 2024 6:20:38pm 7029Happy new Year! a stop on the way home. A new LGA and high favourites! Thanks for the lovely walk and great cache!
Catching up on a few found logs during a recent trip to Naracoorte for a family reunionMany thanx for the cache
Passing thru town (well, stayed a couple of days actually) on our way to Adelaide and decided to do this cache while here. GPSr couldn't make up it's mind which side of the track to search but did favour the correct side somewhat fortunately. Mrs Laurenda made the find while I was still trying to narrow down the search area. Impressive hide, well done - we appreciate the effort that goes into making creative hides different to the norm. Thanks again.
frmen1 and I enjoyed our walk through here. Parked opposite the aged care facility and walked in. Found quickly. Great job. Favt pt given. TFTC
Not this was an insanely unique spot to hide it, took ages to find it. Thanks for the Cache

Today I started my return home, heading from Kingston SE to Horsham, picking an assortment of caches. Nice camouflage job on this one, yet still a quick find.
Many thanks to wilburwilde for the cache.
Many thanks to wilburwilde for the cache.
Deb, Caroline and I went for a nice walk along a couple of sandy tracks till we got to a location where Caroline discovered the well constructed cache. Enjoyed the bushland with native trees and bracken along the tracks. Thanks Wilburwilde for the cool cache

Nice hide. A for effort and a favourite point from me. On the hunting trail again with SeasonedBird. I’ll leave the more interesting & detailed log to Mrs Geo (aka: SeasonedBird, Salty Chook, the Old Boiler, Old Chook, Dirty Bird or Angry Bird) because she writes so much more eloquently than I and usually has much more time to do so while I’m driving. It’s a great day for caching. TFTC wilburwilde

Found this excellent cache on a lovely summer day. We enjoyed the walk immensely. There was a cute little cache guardian lizard, I tried to get a photo but it was too quick to scurry away. A fave point from us.
Of course as usual I took the natural scenic direct route, I don't think I have been the only one as there seemed to be tracks going towards GZ. After getting to the walking track it was a relatively quick find. Giving this one a fav point. Great cache TFTC. and the nice walk. I checked the phone map and could see the track went across the sandy track I had parked my car at the bottom of, so I walked along the track....in no time I came to the sandy track and worked out quickly if I had only walked a short distance from where I had entered the scrub I would of had an easier and quicker walk to the cache. It's about the adventure not the distance isn't it. Thanks for the lovely walk and adventure.
Found this one and a few others on the drive back to Adelaide from Dunkeld today.
Second one in a row that as found on opposite side of the path that I had my GZ.
Nice construction,
Thanks to wilburwilde for putting out this cache for me to find.

Having spent most of the day down at the Naracoorte caves, I decided to spend the rest of the daylight hours finding a few more caches in the area. Having found the other nearby cache in this reserve, I decided I may as well just walk to this one and a short time later, I was at ground zero. There were plenty of potential hiding spots for me to look, but it did not take long before I spied the likely container. The creative hid was opened and my name was in the log book; a creative cache and one that deserves a favourite point.

Off on our travels today, this cache came up and we needed to break the drive, have a short walk to gather refresh air. Quick find, even had to use stealth as was muggled by a dog walker! TFTC
Beaut weather to be out for a drive and grabbing a few caches around Naracoorte. Nice walk, TFTC!
Yep, never seem to get enough exercise these days, so this cache forced us to take a few steps at least .
Came up from Parking option 1, past the 'donut' tree and took the sand track to the T-junction .
TNLNSL.
Thanks Wilburwilde.
