Had a good look around at sunset. light was low and we had only one torch but could not come up with the goods today. Suggests that the owner check this one please.
Have been there wirh VikoCz after few weeks later and it wasn't where it used to be. CO please check.
#3785 [13:05] i took advantage visiting this area for a short walk around the lake. cache is at the nice and quiet place, easy to find and log. thanks for that!

Wednsday. Kerry from Slow Puncture was out and about today searching for the remainder of Monster Lane, and also any randoms that got in the way!
Got to GZ and this whole area was nice and shady in the middle of the day - this was good as it was blazing hot. A quick scout around GZ and I found the cleverly-concealed container. The log and been folded and jammed back in (and down sigh) so it was a battle to find something to lever it out with. Took about 10 minutes but I got there in the end. I took care to roll it back up properly and now it fits as intended.
This was the 5th of 6 caches found on today's trip.
Thanks [Blue]yyabbie[/Blue], for showing us this place.

Im soooo happy. met my 2 best friends at coffee club. Had a champagne. Beer and red wine then decided to tackle this cache. Did my research but that didn't help until light bulb moment and I don't know how I didn't fall in water as very dark. Nothing to do with alcohol. Thanks for taking us to this great spot and for really tricky cache .This is one of my favorites.
We made a reasonably quick find on this one - still not a fan of these birds and they will always be known as "dump birds"! TNLNSL TFTC
1714 - This cache was to be my one and only find of the day and today it was a relatively easy and uneventful find at 10:34am. The area was quiet in respect of humans with just a few birds and ducks moving about. I had searched for this cache before but then I was looking for a different kind of cache than I found here this morning. I am not sure how the hint is relevant, but I am aware of IBIS. Thanks for the cache yyabbie.
What a tough one. Tried a few months ago but missed it. Found in a few minutes this time. Tftc
i do like this one. lots of caches that were on youtube i have found today. thanks. the hint didn't make sense at first but then it did when we found it. lovely lake. thanks for bringing me here, wouldn't have even know it was here if it wasn't for the cache. Found with Jacob_Barton. TFTC
Out with NurseyJulie, signing a few challenge caches and some higher terrain ones. Couldnt resist stopping to find this one, on the way past
It was night time when I got there and I start searched at front all up and down and I work out how can that be so try my best walk on edge and found it and nice cache hint and name and nice hide but couldn't get paper out TFTC
Unbelievable! After a fruitless search a few weeks back that lasted a full 30 minutes, it took me a mere 5 seconds to find it this time around. Unfortunately it was impossible to extract the log - it's jammed down so tight that even my extraction tool gave up in disgust. TFTC. That was a tricky one.
Nice work! Wasn't what I expected but great sense of satisfaction after not finding our first location this morning.
This one was so frustrating but finally bingo. Found with Jade and 64 pirate lady.
I was dropping the MIL and wife off at the RSL and then heading off for a few finds and as this one was just over the road it was the first on the list.
It took a bit of searching around the spot before I discovered the well crafted hide. The log was a little damp and my pencil didn't make much of a mark on the log but then all the other logs are smudged and can't be read either so my mark is just as good as the others.
TFTC.

This one seems hard to find Gps keeps directing me into the water. Will have to try again
Being a nice sunny day, we headed out to find a few caches in a nearby suburb.
Had to wait for a muggle to leave the area, before making our search.
It didn't take too long, and the clever hide was discovered.
Log was a little dam and hard to retrieve. Signed and replaced as found.
Many thanks for placing this cache, yyabbie, for us and others to find.

Find #1568 at 16:35 with MissGeosie and BopsyGirl.
This one took us a while, until I looked from the right direction and saw something very slightly wrong.
A very clever hide, that [^]
We saw many moorhen, a few ducks and plenty of ibis today, before doing a couple of laps of the lagoon and having a bit of a play in the playground.

Today we teamed up with Roostaman and diverted to this one while doing the Monster series. A lovely area to explore. Found inbetween sprinkles of rain.
Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache for our enjoyment.

It's a cool and lightly raining day trip around some of the monster series with the Tassie Trekkers.
A very good hide here and a fav too.
Cheers from Wagga Wagga in the Riverina, NSW.

cache find #3186 Mr GT54 spotted the cache very quickly. We had seen one similar a few weeks ago. Great cache hide. TFTC A favourite point from us. TFTC.
This one too a bit of searching, but then I saw something that looked out of place. Nice camo. MFTC.
We were lamenting the fact that north of the Mega were some animal caches we needed for a challenge. Only letter missing.... I. Where was Iguana or Ibis or Iridescent Butterfly or some such cache name?! All we need is an 'I' animal cache to complete the dreaded challenge. Figured we would have to get home and get someone to make one, lol. Anyway, we were doing something else and Mrs M yelled (yes, yelled) "Yoohoo. I've found an IBIS!! by accident.... and it's only 3cm on the map!! (Private joke.) Anyway, off we went and after much frustration Mr M made the excellent hide which he raved about. So if we could give you 2 faves we would... but one will have to suffice. Thank you OH SO MUCH for the beloved Ibis cache . Funny, we found a yabbie cache some days back. Must be fate . TFTC
On our way to watch friends sailing model boats at the Boondall Westlands, we detoured to find this cache. Alovely area and not too many muggles. It did take a while but finally hubby looked in the right spot and found the hide. Very clever indeed, definitely a favourite. TFTC yyabbie
We went searching for this one today on the way home from having a lovely day kayaking and lunch with friends. I can't believe it took us so long to find it!!! Very sneaky! I had the right idea of what I was looking for and was in the right spot, it just took me ages to spot it. I was about 2 seconds from giving up and thought to myself I'll just check here one more time. Bingo! I love frustrating caches because you get a real sense of satisfaction after the time you have spent looking pays off. That's my Y for the ABC Challenge. I've just got Y, N and Z to go...TFTC yyabbie
Enjoyed seeing all the Ibis since we don't get them at home in NZ. Found the cache after a minute of looking around TFTC
Enjoyed the walk around the lagoon, saw lots of Ibis and then spotted a cache! Thanks for bringing us here.
I needed a Y for my ABC challenge and since I was nearby - I came over to collect this one. Someone was sitting on a bench nearby so I waited in the cool of the aircon before they walked away. At GZ, I kept looking around and then checked the clue again. I moved something and very nearly discounted it and the container caught my eye! TFTC yyabbie
There were plenty of morehens wandering about and several cute little chicks. We didn't see any ibis until we were closing in on GZ. The GPSr had us wandering to and fro for a while. We searched a likely spot then widened our search area. Next it was time to read some previous logs and we were back where we started! Then all of a sudden Mr. Herbz had the cache in his hand! TFTC nice camo.
Out and about in the area before heading to a nearby event.
I parked close by and walked to a few caches nearby.
This was the first stop ... a short search before finding the cache.
Thanks for the cache.

TFTC this is a clever little one. Couldn't find it for a while but took on board all the previous logs and whammo found it. Brilliant.
Well I have to laugh.
Lenore I looked and looked and then I spotted something that didn't look quite right.
Removed that poked around. Nothing!
Look down at hand and will you look at that, I'm holding the GC!!! Lucky I didn't throw it away.
Great hide and yes we had a great laugh. So glad we found this one. And all back as found for the next lucky finders.
Fantastic.

Out today to go to Masters at parkinson to pick up some christmas lights sent from sydeny for me, so thought of doing a few caches while we are in the area.
Found around 3.30pm a few other caches in the area was about to head home before needing to stop at suncorp across the road. So went and found this as was so close. Also did most of the munzees around her 2-3wouldnt scan. Oh well.

Well it was not as easy as we thought it would be, but we were really happy to find it, a great hide. Thank you!
Out and about on the geocycle seeing how much blood I can donate to the local mozzie population.
I did nor see any Ibis at this one today. I did see a few ducks and some moor hens with a fluffy little baby. There were also no muggles around this morning which was most helpful.
This was a nice quick find. Nice container and nicely hidden.

First geocache of the year! Last time I was here this one was out for maintenance. Was in the area running errands today and stopped by for a quick find. Cool! Tftc!
Great spot didn't have a pen but left a pirate stick, love the turtles in the lake
Grabbed this cache from its hide but despite coming equipped we were unable to remove. Photo log instead sent to co. Tftc. Great spot. Love the turtles.
My three month Brisbane adventure has started. Day 23, Redcliffe.
I didn't do much with geocaches yesterday. I gave Mum a hand with sorting instead. Awful day it was, hot and sticky. Today seems similar, so I'm going geocaching at Sandgate on the beach and in the parks, where I'm in some breeze. This worked much better. Bad luck, Mum!!! The GeoSchnauzers like walks and the beach, so I took them with me.
No 1 of 9 today. Thanks, yyabbie. Good hide!! This is a very pleasant park, with lots of shade, birds for the GeoSchnauzers to chase (to the limit of their dog strings), and lots of things to sniff. The log was indeed very hard to extract. I fixed it for you. A previous finder had got the container out of its holder, signed the log, put it back in the container, and jammed the container back into the holder. This has jammed the log, making it impossible to extract. I ended up pulling out the container, the log then fell out, I signed it, put the container back, then the log. It now comes out easily. (Under the action of gravity if held upside down).

Found today between muggles out for morning walks. This area certainly is popular with ibis. Found thus one a bit tricky, for me it was a bit harder than a 1.5 but each to their own. Love the container, but I was unable to remove the log, it was jammed in too tight. Tried banging and flicking (gently), and then I resorted to my fine tipped tweezers, but that sucker is wedged in tight. Didn't want to damage anything so left without signing, CO might need to take a look. Will send photo for proof TFYC
Hi yyabbie thanks for the replacement. Checked on it this afternoon and turned it cache side down. Very clever once again.
Repaired and have changed hint a bit. Beware mossies. With all the recent rain they probably will be bad here.
Dnf. Here today to get my bike repaired close by and didn't read the previous logs before coming here. Lovely spot that deserves a cache. Hope it is replaced soon. Tftc
Hi yyabbie Sorry to say this very clever cache is no longer in place. Maybe with the lower water levels more people have been walking around here.
Had a good look around in case someone had tossed it but couldn't find it to replace.

We headed for this one as it seemed to be free of muggles and there were far too many of those right along this area. After sending around an hour looking for this one we decided to give up and head home. It is either a very clever hide or is not there as we hunted high and low over quite an area and found nothing. I did not feel quite so bad looking back and finding one other DNF. I will keep an eye on this one and see when it is found again. As long as I know it is there I will try again.
Last spot to grab a cache on the way home. Saw plenty of birds and turtles. Took longer then it should with the GPS not quite getting me to GZ. Went scratching around high and low before I noticed a slight variant of the surrounds. Clever construction!! TFTC
I've cached at this spot a few times and it's always a pleasure to return. Loved the well constructed cache today. Thanks yyabbie.
Saw some really amazing birds in this area. Poked around GZ for a little bit and was pleasantly surprised when I found the cache. Tfth!
After a day walking round Sandgate and Shorncliff, I thought "just one more"... If only the park wasn't being used for a local festival... next visit then. ..
Thought we weren't going to be able to get this one after all, as when we arrived there were kids everywhere! But we sat nearby and watched the birds on the lake and soon heard the magic words, 'c'mon kids!'
Only a handful remained so we took the opportunity to search for the cache. Being inconspicuous, we looked at the trees enroute and stopped to point out and talk to the birds! Lucky Dave was here as he make quick work of the find. Cool container!!

A lovely sunny day for a midweek outing and I found myself on the dark side of town
A gentle stroll to GZ and located this na-na-nano easily Nicely done and a FAVE point for this one!
On we rolled, time for a couple more today...

My sister had a day in Brisbane before flying back to New Zealand today and requested to come geocaching with me so we spent the day caching Sandgate to Brighton on a lovely sunny day. Last find for the day and my sister came up with the cache. She loved it! TFTC
Quick find once I looked in the right spot. I haven't spent much time in sandgate before; in fact, I think the only other time I have been here was when I was trying to get my driving hours up for my licence. Great to get down and explore an unfamiliar area. I have a love-hate relationship with ibises after having food stolen at uni a few too many times. Thankfully the birds behaved today. Tftc

Well after picking up some scrummy thai for dinner geolad, Geolze and I ducked...I mean IBIS' d over for this one. After the ibis and bats took off in a noisy flurry into the darkness some more strange chirping remained before the johnny hoppers appeared with bigger torches than ours. Happy that we weren't who they were looking for we examined gz. After a cane toad and spotting geolad scurried back to car mumbling something about returning in daylight. A short time later Geolze suggested returning in daylight before I had a closer inspection of something we spotted first up. Bingo! TFTC
Think there maybe some grumpy and tired 'ibi' tomorrow.

Routine check. All good.
Somehow every time I check this cache it ends up in a different location to its original hiding spot.

A favourite for the cache guardians who carried on with their business in the trees while I went about mine caching.
A clever hide, I spotted it right away but I still think it's a brilliant camo. I took it out to show hubby then returned it to the hiding spot.
Stopped at a nearby place of business and once finished, headed beside the wonderfully greenish waters of Einbunpin Lagoon to make this find. There were many birds above in the branches, quite unperturbed by our presence and we took a couple of snaps. Back to business, we found the hide where I expected it to be. Nice craftsmanship. We signed the log and returned the container to its position. tftc yyabie
Very clever hide on the fringe. Nearly stepped in the water and about to give up as getting dark when it all became clear. Love it. TFT
On a day off work, I decided to find a few caches with DisSister and this was our first stop. Plenty of bird life; the eponymous ibis, ducks, moorhens, seagulls, lorikeets; and none of it shy! We had four moorhens at our feet as we retrieved the nicely made cache. Good location and good hide. TFTC, yyabbie. =^.^=
Haven't been caching for a while so jumped at the chance to join La Kedi today. The kids loved this lagoon last time we were here, watching the turtles popping up and down. Today we had no kids so just wandered around to GZ accompanied by moorhens and ibis. A nicely executed cache. It was found safe and dry. TFTC, yyabbie.
I walked towards gz thinking of all the spots a cache could be. Lots of noise from the birds but no one around.
Relatively quick find but I got lucky. Nice cache camo.

This is a great area there was certainly lots of muggles around but easy grab tftc
We had wanted to collect this one for a while but last time we were in the area there were so many muggles we had to bypass it We soon found the right spot and suspect that the cache was not in it's usual place as we found it lying rather conspicuously low down. Log signed we attempted to find a more suitable hidey hole for it. Thanks for this cache in its cool container yyabbie
Picking Miss 10 up from her gymnastics training tonight provided the opportunity for the boys of the household to collect a cache, and maintain my current personal best streak of finds. My two sons were all kitted out for tree climbing at another cache, but some muggles on the scene meant we diverted to this cache.
With torches in hand, we searched likely spots. Some acrobatics were required, and something that didn't quite look right turned out to be the cache. Lots of toads and a dead fish were in the lagoon nearby.
Surprised and glad to walk away with dry shoes on the feet of Masters 7 and 9. Thanks for the cache, yyabbie.

Nice one yyabbie. We already had the heads up that some acrobatics were required this was a fav one for geo daughter !!
I seem to have quite a high strike rate when it comes to meeting other cachers out in the field so when I spotted some fellow cachers in the right spot here, I enjoyed wandering over and doing the 'What do you people think you're doing?' routine before introducing myself and the clan to SS&PK, or in this case SS&muggle friend.
They had just replaced the cache so after a nice geo-chat, Tinda13 swung into action and soon produced the cache which is well crafted and very well positioned. TFTC and I look forward to meeting you again SS&PK, perhaps at an upcoming Event or Mega!
