Haha I Crack myself up sometimesSlow find But got it in the finishBeautiful walk along the beachThanks for the cache
Making our way towards home over the next few weeks travelling with 2 dogs and a cat we have found caching a great way to give the fur babies a break. Thanks to the COs for placing and maintaining.
As we wander through the land, grabbing caches and seeing the sights even occasionally catching up with friends A good day was had while grabbing these caches with lots of miles covered Thanks for placing them *Found with [Geooh GO](https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.mobiltal.geoohGO)*
OCW PelDroedGwin and geodog Peppa In North Shields to collect a parcel, took a little drive to the beach whilst in the area. A quick find on a sandy track. Tftc
Ocw the Bebes. Had to pop to the roadhouse for some post so came to get this one. Tftc
Thanks for the cache, Viper231, nice walk back to the caravan park along the beach. TNLN
Short search had this soon found, our last cache of the trip and then to the airport and home.
GreyHams and myself set out on a three day SA caching trip after a super early start to the first day. The best start really though as by 9am and two planes later we had landed in Port Lincoln and into our rental car ready to set off! Local Government areas were our primary target, although many others of interest made the list, oldies, types and DT... Each offered some unique and often spectacular location, if your cache made our list, thank you!
Day 1 saw us landing in Port Lincoln and caching our way up towards Ceduna, a long but productive day saw us driving into Port Augusta just on dark a solid 12 hours after we had set off on the road.
Day 2 and we made the drive north from Port Augusta where we were based for the trip. The scenery on the drive to Roxby Downs changed often from little salt bush plains, shrub, salt lakes and to the amazing vast flat and empty, I loved the vast flat views... always spotting something in the middle of all the nothingness. Emus featured in huge numbers often, red dirt appeared... something I have been seeking so it was great to see it and finally get my feet into it all! Back into Port Augusta we set off for a loop in the south of the Flinders towards Quorn and out to Orroroo before returning just as the sun set to collect the last pizzas just as the shop shut for the day.
Day 3 was our last but just as full, although we only needed to get to Port Lincoln for our plane home late in the day we had many caches of interest plus a few walks along the way so took most of the day to make the distance leaving the odd cache off as we watched the clock!
Each day was full of such varied scenery, all quite stunning in their own way and led to a very enjoyable and fun trip. Thank you for your cache that guided us through the area and helped to highlight some of the great locations we got to visit.

We had an extra 20 minutes to kill before we needed to get to the airport and the DT on this appealed to me. Quick find

Aquilus1 & myself on yet another caching mission into South Australia, this time it was to go out west to collect all the LGA's out there.
This area of South Australia is so interesting as you can drive and be in a completely different planet within an hour. Red gums, to mallee scrub, to saltbush, to nothingness and then back again!
STarting and finishing in Port Lincoln, but with Port Augusta as our main base we explored the Eyre Peninsula, east out to Ororroo and north to Roxby Downs. It was a short but fun little trip. Thanks to all the CO's for placing caches

Third times a charm and actually quiet easy but not sure why it wasn’t found the last two times when we checked this spot but that’s okay. Thank you ️
Another cache found with richlink.
Thank you so much to the CO’s who have placed and maintained caches for the enjoyment of all.

With rain coming later today we decided to range north of PL with iluvtrekking to grab some caches. Track good, drove all the way making it a drive by Thanks viper
Cache is still there. Found in the first place I looked. The previous DNFs had me worried but this was very easy.
Happy Easter and TFTC.
Happy Easter and TFTC.
Staying at nearby cp. Determined to take a long walk to try my luck. Cache & log in good condition. Happy camper. Tftc
No fauna beyond insects spotted during my mid afternoon search for the geocache. On one of the first afternoons off I had in a long time, I’m really enjoying the coastal caches. I was a bit wary of the track in my little SUV pulling a trailer, however it’s AWD and I can always let some air out so in I trekked and no issues for me. A beautiful spot with plenty of track indicating what type of fauna might be observed here at dusk. TFTC!
Staying nearby with family, [@trodectus](http://coord.info/PR8JTE0) and I went for an afternoon walk and aimed to grab this cache. Arrived GZ and quickly located cache. Log signed and returned. TFTC
Found with [@coybear2000](http://coord.info/PR9547H). We were staying nearby and decided to go for an after lunch walk and try for this one. On our way we saw a flock of small parrots and also some Cape Barren geese. Once at GZ we soon had CIH. Log signed and all replaced and we headed back. I returned to leave a trackable and came across a muggle who had bogged her car. I called C and with he returned with family and we helped release the stuck car. TFTC.
After much searching away from GZ according to previous logs the prize was found at S34 37.202 E135 52.733 using a Garmin ETREX 10. Thank you for the placement of this cache viper231 find number 7379 at 19 February 2021 3:28 pm
Day 11 of our Eyre Peninsula caravan odyssey with the geo-pup, from Port Lincoln to Cummins.

Was a bit cautious about taking the hire car out here but managed to get here in the end. Cache and contents are all good
Well what a day it was, a day filled with more downs than ups and but overall a few caches were found in and around port Lincoln. Davidwazza and I headed to the Eyre Peninsula for a weekend away to clean up as much as we could and collect a few new LGAs for Davidwazza. This morning 2nd cache in we ended up cracking the oil sump in the car and having to sort out what to do and how to fix the issue. Lucky a mechanic was at hand and a prolonged trip was soon scheduled and a hire car was in hand. I guess things happen when you use a car for things that it’s not made to do.
Other than that a great day out.
Thanks for the cache

This weekend, I joined gridge98 on a trip to Eyre Peninsula, primarily visiting Port Lincoln and its surroundings. We saw its famous marina full of trawlers, and we also ended up visiting Coffin Bay and enjoyed fresh oysters. A nice weekend with weather, and certainly a great vicinity to see.
After having a successful day yesterday, we awoke with motivation and optimism for the day that was ahead of us. However after having our first geocache find, a rock had hit the vehicle's oil sump, leaving the car inoperable and requiring the car to be towed to a mechanic in Port Lincoln. The morning was then spent addressing the vehicle's repair plan, and then trying to salvage the remainder of our weekend's plans. We walked around the centre of Port Lincoln, before finding a hire vehicle for us, and then the afternoon was spent driving around the area. It was interesting seeing Port Lincoln's marinas and also caught glimpse of the shark cages. We ended up drowning our sorrows in the evening (whilst celebrating gridge98's birthday) at the craft brewery, which was probably a highlight of the day.
We took our hire car up this track that wasn't in too bad of shape, other than the sandy part at the end. We made a cautious park, and walked to GZ where we began looking. Luckily gridge98 had the right idea, and made the find reasonably quickly, hidden away. The cache container and logbook were in good shape. Thanks viper231 for the cache placement and ongoing maintenance. A nice spot for a cache, and cool beach cove.

From Tumby Bay to Port Lincoln. This was today's stage and as always we searched and found some geocaches. Many thanks to all owners, which made this trip a little more varied even in not so nice weather.
Took 4 sets of caching eyes then Juju54 called “found it”. GPS was out hence expanding our search TFTC
Found with HRH54 after quite a search today but a happy result here! Lovely beach area TFTC
Found at 10:53 AM GAFF2.
We drove to the end of the track and went straight to GZ which initially was the track entrance posts - nothing there Started to look about 7 metres down the track and initially there was nothing there either, but after searching and digging a bit more (after all the cache had not been found for 8 months) we pulled out the cache and the GPSr showed 3 metres
Thanks viper231

Our second DAY IN Pt Lincoln and it was time to focus on caching in Lincoln itself and potential surrounds. It was a cold and grey day interspersed with rain, which was a bit of a downer when compared to the sunshine of the last few days. Despite this we were able to still able to make a good day of it, finding over 50 caches, though it was also a day of quality as well with some higher terrain caches as well. It was an enjoyable day as we were able to tick off some earmarked caches before we finally finished up at around seven.

Staying in Tumby Bay for a few days we set off finding the caches around here cleaning up a lot of unfounds from previous trips, parked and walked to this one, wasn't going to risk getting bogged. TFTC
I found this with mummy and daddy and my sister while we were having a holiday in Port lincoln
Nice track to the beach, lovely very soft sand here not like the last beaches with only rocks. Easy find TFTC
We found this cache as part of a 4 day trip which went from Adelaide to Sceale Bay returning to Adelaide. The purpose of the trip was to remove Freddo was his home location too near the Clipsal 500 track and for us and Freddo to achieve a difficulty 4 1/2 and terrain 4 cache to make us well rounded cachers. The cache we needed to find was located near Venus Bay and we successfully completed this goal early on Friday morning which left us plenty of time to find "just one more". Loved the scenery and having the opportunity revisit this great area Thanks to viper231 for placing this cache.

Had an unsuccessful look and then decided we had better head off to do 'Mum's Birthday Cache' before the approaching rain arrived. After returning from that cache we had another look for this one and it was eventually spotted by Mrs Beetle.
Thanks.
Thanks.
Staying at the Port Lincoln caravan park, while caching in the area.
The cache was found quickly, thanks for the hunt today, viper231.

Luckily mrs dentoz found this. These caches are more tricky than we are used to. No wonder we had such a Barry Crocker yesterday. TFTC. Today 15 out of 15
We have these nasty hides where I come from too; not really my idea of fun but the lure of a smiley always wins over. Top effort on the coordinate though; 1m at GZ is as perfect as I could've asked. Thanks viper231.
