Out for a bike ride with geo buddy hhheddy collecting some smiles around Murdoch Uni; however this one appears missing, yet could easily be replaced with small magnetic nano or other camo container.
Caching in the area today, this was to be the last cache before heading home but search as we did, we could not locate the cache. Looked at previous logs and noted the string of dnf's. Had a good look around and could not locate the cache. Think this one needs checking up on.
JacobsCrew your cache film canister eluded us today, must be beautifully hidden.
I was in the area after another cache so I thought I would run over and have another go here. still nothing found today
Looking for a place to park and eat my lunch between meetings I was pleased to find a hide and a nice shady spot right along my route.
As I parked I noticed a few people who appeared to also be enjoying the fresh air for lunch and sat and waited until the area was clear.
I began the search in earnest and after 10 minutes I was still empty handed. With what appeared to be a group of students arriving after the short walk from the train station I retreated to my car and used the time to read some previous logs.
With the area clear once more and new knowledge in tow I was able to find the container quite quickly.
As I opened the cache I found the log sheet wet and disintegrating, with no official log sheets on me I was able to fashion one out of a workbook I had in my car.
Everything signed and I replaced the cache as found and went back to finish my lunch, TFTC.

Needed to grab a cache on the way home to keep a mini streak going and decided on this one.
Seemed simple from the hint but couldn't find it at first. Turns out I just needed to dig a little deeper to get the bison. Surprising how much detritus can build up in a month or two. TFTC JacobsCrew2.

Thanks JacobsCrew2 for the cache. It was found in Good Condition
This find brings my total number of Finds to 3362.

Final specialist appointment today, all is good, and how to better celebrate than grabbing a cache on the way back to work, The cache did not reveal itself for a while, but persistence did pay off.
The log is full and worn and should be replaced soon.
Following in the footsteps of Mummy LAXA, for the same reason too. NEF. TFTC
Had dropped Bobble off at the vets due to a pesky grass seed and while she had her ear operated on I decided a spot of caching would take my mind of things. Met up with PommieParkin2 who also had a nearest and dearest in hospital and we joined forces to grab a few more smilies while we waited for our time to pick up calls. Seems we are not alone with this train of thought. Nice time of year to grab this one with empty car parks. TFTC JacobsCrew2
Had arranged to meet up with friends for coffee before an appointment at Fiona Stanley, so managed to swing by & find this cache before hand... Happy to turn a frown upside down
TFTC JacobsCrew!
TFTC JacobsCrew!
On the way back from hospital the second. With a caching related injury, dad needed to stay a second night at Fiona Stanley's. Thought to stop for a quick find after the visit. TFTC.
Found this cache during my visit to Australia. Drove by this with my daughter and grandchildren. TFTC
Finally found after numerous attempts today I had time on my hands and of course it is in the obvious place
A quick trip out to Murdoch University to hand in an assignment was not successful so we decided to brighten our day with a few cache finds. Found this one easily signed the log and were back on the cache finding trail in no time. Thanks for the hide.
TFTC! Quick find while running some errands south of the river. Great to bring the geokids to university grounds too.
A nice quick find. Sunday is a good caching day at the Uni as it is very quiet and very few muggles. TFTC
After doing a bit of cache maintenance, I caught up with urch and we headed northwards to find a few caches and try to clear a small patch on our maps. Found this one after a bit of excavating - was well and truly buried - but find it we did. Thanks JacobsCrew2
Found the bison tube well covered in mulch, so overlooked on the first pass. However was very puzzled about the extra info written on the log. [?]
What we believed to be a security car was hovering in our area, keeping a bit of an eye on us.
Thanks for the cache JacobsCrew2.

After the last meeting before WA Goes Big next weekend we decided to get a few to make our trip south worth the effort. Nice easy find here by m4yb and off we went to the next spot.
Thanks JacobsCrew2.
Thanks JacobsCrew2.
A quick stop here after the last meeting preparing for WAGB 2015. Enjoying the empty Uni carparks on a Sunday. Here I made a quick find, TFTC Jacobs Crew2!
On turning into the Uni off Murdoch Drive I saw Uni security racing around (and speeding above the posted limit) with hazard lights on. I followed him in and stopped at GZ. At GZ fire trucks were racing along South St. As I was signing the log, all said vehicles drove past. No smoke, no fire but I signed the log. TFTH
On a drive past and thought we'd stop in and find this previous DNF. Parked at GZ and Geo son with the help of geo Dad had the cache in hand in a matter of moments. TFTC.
Came back today to rectify a previous Dnf when it was in juggled state. So pleased to find this cache in the pristine just replaced condition. So very dark here so I'm glad I had my super light with me. Cheers
Found it this time. It was not here when I previously searched so I'm not sure how a previous geocacher could have claimed to have found it. Anyway, the log sheet does appear to be a waypoint clue with a set of coordinates. Not to worry, I signed this 'log sheet' anyway. Thanks for replacing the missing cache JacobsCrew2 and thanks for the cache.
FTF on the new log sheet, but it seemed to be a waypoint hint. So we didn't sign it as we thought you may have added the wrong paper to the cache :/

Back up in the southern suburbs today, grabbing a few caches to help clock up some kilometres for a couple of travel racers. No joy here today, and after reading previous logs, gave it up as a wasted effort. Think this one needs checking asap
Spent a few minutes searching without any luck then read the previous logs and decided to move onto the next one.
Searched here for quite some time whilst the kids rode there bikes around the empty carpark... Whilst they were happy, I raked through the entire area hoping to find the cache on the ground! Unfortunately my time was wasted & I could not locate the cache
TFTH JacobsCrew This one definitely needs to be checked & it seems to have gone AWOL, cheers!

Lots of DNFs being racked up (apart from one dubious find). Perhaps the CO could take a look next time they are passing this way. Thanks JacobsCrew2.
Had a good look with 8 sets of eyes maybe gone missing??? Had fun looking..Thanks.

Searched all trees in the vacinity. No luck! Target tree looks as if it is sustaining some collateral damage. Possible hides were bare as Mother Hubbard's cupboard. TFTC anyway! If was fun looking if not frustrating.
We had the car park to ourselves and having 3 sets of eyes still did not find this.
Not convinced this one is still alive. Have looked on two separate occasions now without success. Might be going blind and it might still be there. I think I will wait for a confirmed find by someone else before returning - unless I have a brainwave in the meantime. If CO reads this note a check to see if it is still there would be appreciated.
Noticed some new caches come up in this area last night so decided to detour over this way on the way back to the depot, time was limited but I ended up finding three new ones and one other.
One of the others. Quick find here, not sure how long the hidey hole will last, it's looking a little fragile.

Find #395. Out placing caches.
Quick find and easily retrieved without damage to the tree. Thanks for the cache!

Ah. The old film canister cache. A great reason to bring back 35mm film. Probably the only one. Grabbed this one while doing some maintenance on our nearby power trail. Thanks JacobsCrew for the hide.
Heading out NOR today, Jiinta29 and I decided to grab this on the way.
A quick park and grab for us. Log signed and replaced.

We (Kyzabra and I) were grabbing some caches while heading to an event NOR and this popped up. We swung past and being nice and early, there were no muggles around A nice easy find, log signed and we were on our way again. TFTC JacobsCrew
TFTC picking up some caches whilst in Perth. I'd like to educate you to make all your hides this easy for people like me!! Thanks mate
Only happy to oblige. Those bison tubes you have a propensity to hide are a real pain. Did you learn about them at the Murdoch University. At least this cache was a bit bigger and I could see it with and without my glasses. Whereas those bison tubes are a problem no matter how I look for them..........
Keep up the good work, what would I have to complain about without the JacobsCrew..............
Thanks JacobsCrew for the cache.

Educate you??....sure!!! Bisons are the most frustrating style of cache to find and, despite your seeming attraction to hiding them, you are doing a fantastic job of keeping caching alive and well in the south (for which I'm sure others are equally grateful). You must be ordering them by the dozen. Pleasing to see another film canister in play here....a 200ml sistema would be 1 step even better (see me if you want a steady supply!!) . Thanks for this clever hide; as instructed, the tree was in no way harmed during the logging of the cache.
Back up this way to finish off the twelve days of christmas caches and some of the caches close by.
A quick find once the council workers moved on TFTC JacobsCrew

We bypassed the other two new ones and called in to find this one on the way elsewhere. Found that we were 2nd just behind firnsy.

Took a late afternoon trip to Fremantle, and picked up this cache on the way back.
This was a very well hidden cache, but easily found with out moving a thing.
Thanks for the cache, JacobsCrew.
