Looked but could not find even with geo hubby who has already found this one
Finding relatively quick. Retrieving and getting pen to write somewhat more difficult. Great hide. TFTC Greetings from Adelaide
I've been past here plenty of times with no idea this was here. A great cache. An interesting POI, well lit, appropriately sized cache. I understand the love for it. Tftc
A quick stop off on my return trek from Ulladulla to Melbourne. I needed to stretch my legs and this turned out to be the ideal spot to stretch to.
An easy find, but a mildly tricky retrieval and I needed to take the cache for a walk as a muggle was fast approaching. Logging duties conducted at a distance and cache replaced when the coast was clear. TFTC

We found this cache today on wet Eagle Point and Paynesville Caching Morning. It is so wet today but we are going to persevere, at least for a little while. Thanks from D & HA B-A.
On the road with Gromitboy we had plenty of time on our hands while making our way to the ferry to Tasmania. He was amenable to regular stops and we could let the dog have a bit of a run while we looked for the cache! I missed this one and he spotted it! Thanks....

Logging this morning after a late find last night ( as per time noted).
I had a quick look for this one 4 years ago when visiting Bairnsdale for the day while holidaying in Lakes Entrance. Just way too many muggles around in the daytime on that occasion to have a good look. This year we happen to be staying for a few days in the CP over the road so before tucking in for the night I thought I would try again in the dark with no-one around. Surprisingly there was still some weirdo hanging around in the playground. But feeling from one side I had no luck, but looking from the right angle on the other I spotted it straight away. Previous DNF avenged! Thx gwd.aussie for the cache

We found the cache but couldn't actually retrieve it as it was jammed in. We couldn't budge it. May need pliars to get it out.
So took the wife on a short break over Christmas and New Year, along with that came the mandatory lets find some caches each day.
Started just before Christmas down in Metung in Gippsland and explored the area as well as visiting the koalas on Raymond Island and the beaches of lakes entrance.
After that we spent a few days in Kilcunda and walked the George Bass trail as well as a visit to Philip Island.
A pretty great trip to relax over Christmas and New Year.
Ended up finding 50 caches and 3 new travel bugs as well as placing one... unfortunately I also had 8 did not finds which I think is a record for me.
The caches took me to some wonderful places as I got to see Koala's, Seals, Dolphins and heaps of spiders and creepy crawlies..
sorry for the generic log.
Thanks for the cache and the hide

In Bairnsdale for the day but unfortunately this was the only cache I was able attempt today.. it was quite hot so not too many muggles about.. the cache was found quite quickly thanks to the hint but unfortunately it looks Ike a previous finder may have dropped the body of the cache and the log into the grass below and the grass has recently been cut .. sad to say but I think it's gone.. I didn't have my TOTT with me so I couldn't replace .. and my attempts to go paperless over recent months meant there were no scraps in my bag .. not even a receipt .. but I did manage to peel off an old yellow sticker which I signed and placed in what remains of the cache .. not liking it's chances of surviving.. however the lid is secure where it's supposed to be .. great location .. I love learning about history..and the nearby playground is a must for kids.. thanks for placing the cache

Travelling home to Croydon after a weeks holiday in Lakes Entrance
Stopped for a drive break and to check the van connections.
A nice quick find but there was no lid on the container (it wasn't me) but I'll bet someone dropped it in the grass.
Container needs maintenance.
**Thanks for placing this cache gwd.aussie**

Found @ 8:35am on a very cool morning. Spotted it right away so a quick find for such a small cache.
While staying at the caravan park I picked up this little nano. Quick find.
Thanks gwd.aussie

Another quick easy find on a sinny Saturday afternoon with MichB. Love the history associated. TFTC
Well today is palindrome day and I almost forget to find a cache! So it was I found myself heading into Bairnsdale to do the weekly shopping when it dawned on me. Now I need a quick park and grab to cover today. Oh look, there's one, and it's even on the way to the supermarket (sort of). I can't understand why I've never noticed it before, which is fine by me, because if I had of known it was there I'm sure I'd already have found it by now, lol. Anyways, it was a quick find, made just as I looked up to see a group of muggles heading towards me. Phew. Replaced in a nick of time. Thanks for the cache
Spent a bit of time looking but we finally found it. God tier hiding spot and thank you for the fun
Cleverly tucked away. So much change from its origins. Found in good condition. Tftc
Great hide.
Here from Melbourne with students on school camp, they are playing, I am caching.
Cache itself seems a bit wedged in, and covered by spiderweb. (Halloween decoration perhaps )

This trip is the....
Mad Mega/AUSmer 9x9 Mission....
I need 9 hidden month caches to complete the AUSmer challenges and 9 D/Ts to finish my fizzy grid but on this trip, priority is going to the AUSmers.
It was a quick 4013 km trip from Brisbane to the Mega in Wooloongong.
5 states in 5 days (okay, one was a territory) to finish the AUSmer and a few other challenges....
Went through Qld, NSW, Victoria, a loop into South Australia then all the way back across to eastern Victoria for the last AUSmer cache. From there I turned north and went up through the A.C.T. and then to the Mega in Wooloongong. Phew!
I try and grab a cache in an area I haven't cached before, for the LGA and UBD challenges and have found on this trip that I need to visit a number of caches before I get a find for these ones. Here I had to visit three caches before getting a smiley and this one was third time lucky as I was muggled out of the two other tries. This one was very simple and very quick which is just the ticket in such an exposed location and right on the highway for travellers passing through.

Found by Mary and David at 11:40:00. We tried for this one ages ago but it was missing. Delighted to turn that DNF into a big smile today. Quite a history here. Our thanks to gwd.aussie.
Great spot and awesome hide We found it georoamaround we like the micro and magnetic Magic about it
One of those things you drive past but never really take any notice of until you struggle up here on crutches to find a cache. Thanks.
Well hidden, nice quick one. After living in this area for a few years I can't believe I've never stopped to visit the gates before. This geocaches marks 101 finds.
#15171. Robmc and I are spending a few days in Sale and surrounds and this was our first day. We had to brave the roadworks to Bairnsdale and beyond and I pity anyone who has to travel this road regularly. We managed to gather up a dozen smilies on the return trip.
We parked nearby and walked back to these wonderful gates. We did not do well at finding this one. Spider webs do a great job of providing camouflage. Finally Rob spied it and with a TOTT we managed to retrieve it and sign the log.
Thanks gwd.aussie

Our first day around Sale with BettBoo3747.
I needed to go collect some containers of archived caches, and we did a few on the way back.
I have driven past these gates heaps of times, but never knew the story behind them (in fact, never noticed the BTS above the gates!)
Took a little while to locate as a spider had done a good job in the area.
Thanks, Robmc.

Dropped by this spot to find and log a cache. Having been here before we were geocaching had to remember where it was hidden. Thanks for the cache
Take a break after a day at Lakes Entrance for the day. Lovely sunset before head home to Melbourne. Nice and found. Thanks for placing the cache.
