Oh now that was a suprise! Glad to read the note that this place was very quiet on weekends. Haven't seen another soul. What a fun cache container. Have added maintenance log as it is soaked and the bag perished. +Fav anyway
Bag is perished and log book very wet. Not sure if it will be signable in future. Would have added new bag but no kit today sorry.
Doing a wee walk around Izone while my car is getting serviced. Had to turn on my high stealth mode here because of staffs in the office on the other side. Log book needs a new ziplock bad. TFTC.
This is a cache that has taken me 3 attempts to find and today I walked straight up to it and immediately laid my hands on it

We had spotted a few other North Islanders make a personal 24hr find record so we took note of the general caches found and made a plan to try our luck, our previous best was 172, our aim was "more than Yeti", check out GC6PRMW once we have logged them all to see how we did...
Very cool cache holder, Our puppy has one that now looks like Freddy Kruger as it is missing half its face! We will keep him clear of this one.

I made a short trip with our car to this nice place. Nobody was near and so I found a nice ‚box‘.

Out getting a few caches. This one made us smile so will get a fav. Thanks for this cache BBear44.
As per hint. We loved the restaurant that used to be here so we drove past for old times sake. Now it's time to go home and cut the grass. Thanks BBear44.
WE have been in Christchurch for a few days and today we were heading home. When we met up with Bullertrout yesterday we said we were based in Rolleston and we were told about the multi at the llibrary in Rolleston. So we decided to stay around until it opened this morning which was 10am.
We had a bit of time to fill in so we came to find a couple over in the industrial area while we waited.
This cache was a bit cute. We were pleased it had not been raining or he may have been pretty wet.
We were so surprised at how quiet the area was, we appreciate it was Saturday morning but we expected the industrial area to be buzzing.
Thanks for placing this cache and thank you for the smiley

Love the container, very imaginative! Thank you so much. I had my grandchildren with me so it was a great one for them to see.
So up in Christchurch for work and had to get a few caches for the peak challenge. Wet but warm day long grass and now wet feet. Cache was nice and dry. TFTC
Up from down south caching around Rolleston. Eyes on the Smurf and Eclipse Series plus any extras around the vicinity. More smilies in Rolleston
Tftc nice cache

Driving aound, getting random caches that are showing on the 700i screen. I haven't really been caching down in this area yet, so it was nice to go for a bit of a drive. Thanks for putting these together! This was a neat little hide, it was full of water, but the ziplock bag was doing a good job as the log was dry. Placed it back in a way where that shouldn't be an issue.

Out with eagle eyed Greg on another great Caching day - after the Highlanders smashed the Crusaders. Sorry had to sneak that in. Cheers.
I’m in Christchurch for another visit for 4 days. This is my 3rd day and my last cache for the evening. On my own this time for this trip, I usually travel with rustynz and Rebel98. But for various reasons we weren't able to make it together.
I have picked up a heap of puzzle finals today and yesterday. I have hired a nice little car, very economical and quite sporty too. It was very clean when I picked it up yesterday but with all the back roads it has gotten very dirty! Thank you for this neat little hide. I didn't find it too hard. But I struggled to get thru the flax when it's pouring with rain, luckily I had my raincoat on, the shorts I'm wearing are now saturated.... but they will dry out tonight back at the Top 10 Holiday Park where I'm staying. A FP from me as well for the cool hide.

Came to help capture this one that flew the coop. Now tagged. Cheers. Liked this one. Best for the weekend so gets a FAV
Its a long weekend in Christchurch, with The Seagnoid, Zara and Toby, and Star Gazing on the radar. Unfortunately clouds put paid to seeing stars but great event meeting up with the locals. Enjoyed visiting Halswell Quarry, Lincoln, Port Hills and running around after the Smurf family. Cool, fine days and NO rain made for an awesome weekend. Will be back again soon.

Well, this could be a really nasty flax hunt, so we resorted to the hint. The dragon quite liked this cache, but it wasn't my thing. I did like the green space though.
Came down on Thursday night with Taybeedragon for a three day geocaching trip and to collect a rare cache type - so rare that this will be the first ever for me - a 10-Year Celebration Event cache (now rejigged as Community Celebration Events). But that, with some adventure labs and Halswell Quarry, was a couple of days ago. Yesterday we smurfed a bunch of caches, and today we are off to check out Lincoln (and another adventure lab) then head home at about lunch time.

Pretty hard to find in over grown flaxes on a wet day but did find it eventually. Best geocash we have found yet.
Came out for a walk on a sunny Autumn day. Hadn't found this on our last try so pleased to find it pretty quickly today. Tftc.
**Found on our February - March tour around the South Island. Logging back home in Auckland in Lockdown isolation**
After washout weather 4 years ago on the 29th February we have been keen to greatly increase our Leap Day Finds tally in 2020. To that end we made sure we were in Canterbury ready for some quick puzzle trails this morning, and determined to cache all day. We made short work of the Smurfs, then moved on towards Rollerston to find a few trads. Glad it was a weekend - the place was deserted. Soon realised where we needed to be, and made an easy find after reaching the right spot. TFTC

A fairly quick find and I am pleased that it is a Sunday. Stopped for a coffee at nearby cafe.
Time to grab this before no more stops on the wat to Springfield. Had to get this one as it has so many FPs, I see why now, have another. T F T C BBear44
It's the last full day of the trip and I intended to make the most of the day and was up with the lark, cockerel more like, and in the car at 0530 ready to get going. I called in for an early brekkie and hit the road early to meet Ricardinho.nz at Springfield. We cached our way back to the West Coast via road barriers and others en route and I set off for home after leaving him in Greymouth after visiting all 8 of the TMGT caches there. Home at 7PM and a decent haul of over 80 caches, including 5 Earthcaches. Awesome scenery and views and a cracker day of weather too. 620KMS for the day travelled and time for a rest!
It's that time of year again when Marlborough residents get a double bubble, two 3-day weekends in a row and a chance to get out there and find some caches. Last weekend I headed over to Golden Bay with ricardinho and we managed a healthy numbers-boosting haul of 82 over 2 days. This weekend I'm planning on finding some already solved Canterbury caches and get me closer to a 5 figure finds number, the big 10,000. At the start of toSaturday this was a 4 day, at the end it was a 127-day!!
The Saturday was planned to be a big day and to get over 100 caches in a day if possible and start converting those puzzle pieces into smiley faces. Success was achieved in that we found over 120 each. I personally found my missing Smurfs, Metal Mania, Glossary of Geocaching as well as a number of other solves and collateral Traditionals. The Canterbury weather turned it on and a good day was had with ric.nz driving and me navigating (sort of)
The Sunday was a Geo-art loose ends day. My plan wqas to track down the remaining Smurfs, round up some horses and grab a couple of loose Eclipse mint tins. I also explored the realms of Springfield in preparation for a return across SH73 on Monday.
Apologies for cut and paste but will add detail where remembered.

We have come over to ChCh for the Reviewer Revealing Event today and after we left the event it was time to grab some caches around Rolleston before heading over to Lyttelton for some TMGT caches. We had some unfinished business here and came for some revenge. A very quick find today and I dont know how we couldve missed this the last time. What a cracker of a container! Dropping in a favourite point. Thanks for placing and creating this cache for everyone’s enjoyment
Found today with Injeanious (some logs signed as Team JeJe). We were out today getting some caches for the Mystery at the Museum. It was a great day for a drive out this way and we had some great views of the snow covered alps in places. TFTC!
Haha, what a great looking cache, it certainly made us smile. Tftc from team Jeje
Straight to it. Quick find. Love the container. FP. Thanks to all cache owners for taking the time to place and maintain your caches. Team Broadbent (signed TB on micros). Find # 2174

Hehe, is it ironic that I found this one after having forked at a chicken farm for the day?
I feared that it might still be lunchtime hours but there was absolutely no one around.

Yes love the container, best time to do caches around here is the weekend or evenings, was going to do more today but my phone died, cannot find where to plug it in the car I am using, so will call it a day, tftc favourite point from me
I am not a particularly fast cacher when by myself, so this was my second Saturday out driving around the Selwyn District to try and gain the last of the Hidden Creatures souvenirs and complete another requirement for the MGSc challenge cache.
All I could think of was the tv show "One flew the cuckoo's nest". I read the discription and decided it would as good a spot as any other to sit and have my lunch. There was no one else around so I was free to have a good search. Once I eliminated the easy spots I had a think about where it could be. The recent garden work meant it wasn't that hard to get to but I still wonder if the terrain is a bit on the low side.
A nice cache in a nice area, thanks for the smilie.

Is it me or has the hint changed since my last visit didn't even get chance to put my hi viz on as I went straight to it glad to turn the frown upside down tftc
Forged my way through the foliage to find this hilarious cache. I liked it a lot so of course it needs a favourite. TFTC and the laugh BBear44 # 11,236
This was my fourth visit here looking for this cache and finally found it together with Team Bisley on one very very cold winters evening. It's not actually that hard (easy to say this in hindsight isn't it!). Cool cache.
So excited to finally find this. Fell foul (hahaha) several times.
Bought the girls and BOOM! we found it
Day of the snow but not deterred a quick cache after work.
Thank you.

10 July 2017 17:51. The container was actually worth the struggle to get to GZ... twice. Was here just on dusk and went in without the torch. After seeing that CO assured it was still there and the favourites, pushed my way back for another go... heel and work clothes in all. Had a good laugh while signing the log. TFTC BBear44 cache find #3018
Just been out and checked this and it is still hiding. And I found it straight away so not to bad. Although plants are a little more grown up since placing. Feel free to message if you need a further hint.
Na sorry not today (and I went into the vegetation ) ohhhh! And yes I was the 4th one that looked
No luck today before and after the event even after grilling the co for help
No luck here tried twice after a paf option and still had no luck am pretty sure this one is missing and will need checked . will definitely be back as this will be an annoying green dot on the map otherwise.
StreetWalker and I had had a couple of DNFs in the Rolleston area on our last caching raid, so this afternoon we returned to hopefully turn some into , and also to look for some more in both the Crusader and AB series.
The second of two previous DNFs smileyfied. We had a hint from a previous finder that we needed to bite the bullet and look in a spot neither of us searched last visit(s). Fortunately the cache is a good size so was an easy find today. Enjoyed the container, nice one! TFTC.

#13435. This one flew the coop last time, but this time round we came armed with some advice from a previous finder. As luck would have it, I saw something interesting as soon as we got to GZ, and directed Troodles there. Good to turn this one into a smiley. TFTC.
Just had to give this another go, especially after Jude finding it. Took the man cave inhabitant as we have an artful demeanor. He went fossicking in one area and I chose another. Then I got the call "Found it!" Where on earth? There it was about 2 metres out for my GPS but the hint is absolutely spot on and needed So a BIG smiley and a fav from me, a really good hide and how could I have missed it 2 times before!! TFTC ]8D]
Definitely shouldn't be disabled as it was an easy find for me today. Cool container! Tftc.
Brought superseeker StreetWalker with me for a looksee but even he failed to find the cache. Maybe it has flown the coop??
All quiet today but despite being able to get down and dirty, I was unable to track down the cache. I did take note of the instructions about not "climbing on the garden area" which I took to mean that you needn't take more than a step or two from the path.
Possibly it has migrated into the flax as I refuse to search for a small cache in large flax bushes.

Second visit here and I was still drawing a blank... checked a few of the same places as last time, was about to sit down and read what others have said, then spotted it... not what I was expecting, but glad to tick it off. TFTC (3118)
Found in the sneaky second place in looked BUT the log was barely recognisable and I don't have a spare with me at this time. Electrifying
Another miss here Are we over looking the obvious or is it that hard? We will need a hint if we are to go back for a third look. Thanks anyway
Hello 2016!! Out for some early morning caching with daughter to start off the new year in the funnest way possible We drove by for some close ones, easy and harder also, and had great fun. All the best to all for another year of caching!!! Interesting container TFTC!!
