Hey Seascout,
So I haven't found this cache specifically because of it's location in these dunes. I was horrified to see a note from a fellow cacher, but unfortunately not surprised. I live locally and when I saw you had archived I was relieved. I would suggest if you would like to keep a cache at this location, relocating near to the road and out of the dunes to avoid further incidents.
Definitely not a place to take kids, with the same people always present in the car park.
The spot is well known for this kind of behaviour, although not threatening towards other people. My partner is a police officer and there is always reports from this area along a similar note to the previous cacher.

Due to the unsavoury activity which can occur here in these sandhills I am archiving this cache.
Thankyou to those cachers coming forward with the advice, altho' I have rarely met anyone on this track it is obviously a problem much bigger than the rumours.
Cachers are here to enjoy the nature around us and to have fun, so ignore this one and go and find my others on the lake or along the beachfront further South (in well populated and well lit areas)
Cheers

I came past this cache and got within 20m of it yesterday but some random guy was at GZ, back again today as it was raining and thought no one would be around, managed to find and stamp the cache, came back to the car and the same guy was in the car park from yesterday. Bit odd I thought but didn't seem to be to interested in me.

Thanks to Davidwazza - I am enabling this cache again and hope all future finds are fun. Please let me know if any problems.
With the rain falling intermittently, I was on a short expedition collecting a few geocaches around the Seaton and Grange area. This was one of my target caches today whilst in the area, as I wasn't sure if this would eventually be archived.
I parked at the nearby carpark, and made the walk up to the cache in between the rain and dribbles. The geocache was found without issue. I thought these dunes area was actually really cool, and had never been here, so glad to have come. The geocache was in excellent condition.
My advice to the CO is to keep this geocache where it is, and enable it for future geocachers to find. Keep an eye on it, and if there are a few dodgy incidents, then perhaps consider moving it, but maybe the previous incident was just a one-off. Thanks Seascout78.

WARNING. Something seriously dodgy was going on GZ today. On both approaches, there were VERY suspicious muggles hanging around. On my second approach, two males (30ish) proceeded to indecently expose themselves. I got the hell out of there. Be careful at this location!
In response to the note written by the last cacher I am reluctantly disabling this cache.
I will return on Tuesday to remove it and find another safer place.
Why does there have to be some disgusting moron to spoil the fun

Unlike some of the other caches around this area tonight, this one was easily found and all in good condition.
Thanks for the cache Seascout78.

A quick walk leading to a quick find and of course a short walk to the beach after signing. Thanx
I really enjoyed the ocean views during my walk along this track, and even made a reptile friend just around the corner from the cache.
(It's also nice to see my name at the top of a brand new logbook.)
Tftc Seascout!

Council cleaned out my cammo cover on the other spot so it has found some new longer lasting cover.... its a few steps around the corner closer to the sea.
Made a quick stop on the way home to find this one, sadly I think I found what was left of the cache, a few pics and messages to the CO and it was confirmed as missing, thank you Seascout78 for giving me the greenlight to mark this one as found anyway. Beautiful spot for a cache too!
Beautiful spot overlooking the Tennyson Dunes and the gulf. Forgot my pencil though.

Cache for the day required and saw that this was back online. Last visit had all tracks leading to the cache closed. So had to abandon the attempt.
Today after a detour on the way to work and parking in the carpark all tracks were open. Great. Short stroll along the tracks to GZ and the view is magnificent . Oh and there is a cache to find. Quick look and there it is. Signed log and replaced. Now into work.

Council are doing lots of stuff around the area, like improving the nature trail
Luckily the track to the cache is still accessible from the carpark as before - and the cache is still anchored to it's post for you to find.

I think the paths to this cache are blocked, hopefully to an upgrade to the path. I will keep eyes on it to bring it back to life when the Council get their job done.
Here with CPwanderer & hevwalker, had always wondered where this place was.
Looks like more work is being done here.
Sneaky hide as we walked straight past it & doubling back.
Thanks for the hide Seascout78

Day out with the family starting with a magic show, chips on the beach, frozen cokes and geocaching ending with a dislocated shoulder, otherwise a great day TFTC
GPS was out by 14m, but after reading description amd hints found with ease by DSWAZY. TFTC
Found on a pre-show caching run with Pony1966. Our device had us 19m out, but there's not many choices if you stay on the path. Mr P soon had it in hand. Great view from here, another place we've never visited before. Fave point for bringing us here. TFTC
My gps gives me one set of coords and my phone gives another - so please read the cache info and hint.

I had been down this way a week or so ago and decided to come back today to pick up a few of those caches that I didn't have time for then. [^]
Had a nice walk up to this one and did enjoy the view when I got to GZ.
My GPSr had me quite a way from GZ but the hints made the find easier.
Thanks for the cache Seascout78.

It is there, and you do NOT need to go into the restricted area - just reach under.
Found today at lunch. There was a cool bearded dragon lizard hanging out on one of the posts. TFTC

Nice stroll over the dune to enjoy the view and retrieve a smiley while we were there.

Easy walk for Great view. Cache larger than I thought it would be given its location.

Someone hadn't put it back out of clear view but we put it back where we assumed it would be hidden. Thanks
#11937. Day 21 of our SA holiday. Another day off the bicycles and we decided to meander southwards to West Lakes and our turnaround point ended up being Henley Beach. I think we need to ride down to HB and back again one day soon. We were muggled out in quite a few areas by kayakers, sailers, fishermen and council workers - so annoying when that happens.
This was visible when we reached GZ. As others have noted - the TB is not there. Is someone stealing trackables in Adelaide? This is the 2nd one we have noted that was put into a cache and gone before the next cacher logged a visit. Very odd! Not a bad view from up here but back down the steep track we went and onwards.
The TB needs to be marked 'MISSING' and hopefully it will turn up somewhere, some time.
Thanks Seascout78

Day Twenty one of our holiday, BettyBoo3747 and I are still at Semaphore in Adelaide. Deadly treadlies left in the garage today and into the geocar and around the suburbs for our caching.
The car park was fairly full when we arrived, but the walking group was getting stuck into morning tea near the cars - that was our que.
Up the track we sped and the cache was in hand quickly.
It is a nice view from here, but no swim for us here (we had one earlier, and will when we get home)
Thanks, Robmc.

An easy find as cache was totally exposed ! Lovely xiews even in the storm. TFTC
Nice views found very easy due to not hidden properly not sure why people are saying there's no travel bug was in there when we arrived
Found this cache with Team Acca Dacca, no bug to be seen! Nice hide though, tftc!!
Went with geonephew today to grab a few caches. No bug in cache so hoping he hasn't gone missing and is logged later
admittedly needed the hint for this one...nice little hide in a nice little spot with a nice little view. curious about Charlotte. took nothing. left a bug who has a few more years to go yet. TFTC.
Nice view from the cache on a humid cloudy day. Off to the cinema this evening and just had a bit of time to find a few. Thanks Seascout78 for another hide.
A quick but nice hide [^] The views here are stunning in both directions SL at 17:32 on Thu 8 Dec 2016. TN left my workplaces' card TFTC Seascout78
So I am in Adelaide for 3 hours of work in the evening and have a early flight so a day of caching with brisal5 planned. Thank you to all of the owners for their creative hides.
Mogni was in town for one of her 'flying' visits. That mean some caching time before she was required for a few hours 'work' before some more caching. The GOTHs needed some maintainance down Semaphore way so I spent the past few days solving a few puzzles down that way. After picking up mogni from the airport it was time to cache our way down to Semaphore. [^]
A quick stop and a quick find. I wonder what will happen if they ever redo the path. I guess the view will always be there but I stopped and snapped it anyway. Thanks for placing this cache Seascout78.

Team Engage breaking a mega-long caching drought. Lovely view, close to our new geobase!

tftc seascout78 quick easy find but had to look carefully as i was thinking it was something else. clever hide. just hope they don't repair the area.
Dr Owl was driving with me along for the ride, the two aims for the day being to do some Whereigo and for Dr Owl to get find number 5,000. Laughs aplenty along the way, some misunderstandings leading us up the wrong road at times but an excellent day out all up.
It's nice to see some sand dunes still standing and in good condition. The area east of here used to be part of the River Torrens as it made it's way up to the Port River and out to the sea.
Thanks for the cache Seascout78.

A quick search and the cache was in hand - fortunately away from the muggles on the hill.
