Good to see a 'regular'. Pity there were no trackables.

This cache has been on my radar for a while, but i was always a bit nervous about the entry. Thankfully today i was not alone in my search, and being driven in a car with more clearance! I think if i had tried with my car i would have lost the spoiler on the way in with the washouts.
Soon we were at gz and the cache was in hand. Hmm, where's the log? Oh, how nifty! Thankfully it was quick to acquire. I was a bit lazy and decided to squeeze in "DK" at the end instead of checking for spaces further down the line, but everything looked in great condition.
Thanks for this one TeamPaulsen, another great cache.

And one last one before the day ended. Didn't take my buddy too long! Thanks for the fun!
Back in Stanthorpe for a few days to clean up after Mega, where we spent most of the time on the Apples.
We drove the GeoFalcon up to the rock-covered drain but no further. Legged it to the top side of GZ, but thought it easier from the river side. We came in from the river side, but left via the top side, which was closer to GZ. Typlical.
So that's what happens when you eat too much yoghurt!! Note to cacher "kaedun" from 21st July 2015 - you didn't find it because it was a "night cart"!
Visited TB: "The Navigator"

Having a caching weekend in beautiful Stanthorpe. Not only finding interesting caches but driving past colourful wattle and stone fruit tree blossoms. Thank you to all the wonderful COs for placing these caches.
Visiting the Stanthorpe area to find some more caches. Enjoy visiting this area and the many various types of caches and their locations. A very interesting and well thought out cache. Worthy of a favourite. TFTC.
A slower day today preparing for the trails tomorrow, we did some excellent caches today, 30 caches in 3 hours ,all fine finds, many thanx to all cache placers for the efforts put in, top stuff
Spent maybe 1h. DNF

With an afternoon of chocolate consumption and wine tasting under out belts, Mrs Gunnie and I were heading back into town with Silver Sovereign and Kdawg92, when a couple of icons flashed up on the SatNav... Hhh, DETOUR...
The mighty Forester got us within 10m of GZ, so it was a short walk to the container, which was quickly located. Out with the contents, I pulled out the decoy log and added our names. Then we did the right thing and added our tags to the real one as well... Well, we had to Fish, right...
Nice size container... Cheers TeamPaulsen.

A nice and quick find while out and about with Gunnie69 & kdawg92. As Gunnie was writing our names in the decoy log however, it was I who realised the meaning of the title and fetched us the real one to rewrite our names into!

Heading back from some chocolate and wine tasting, this cache showed up on Gunnie69's GPS and decided to go and find this cache, trekking through with a mighty subbie we got within meters of GZ and once there found the container quickly and signed the fake log and only noticed once Silver Sovereign pointed that out and went fishing for the real log. Great container BTW. Tftc!

I had this cache recommended to me so I thought I would try it out.
Headed in with geopartner and I was a bit of a goose and had put one number wrong in the coordinates and when we got to GZ I could not find anything resembling a cache.
Rang for a PAF and told what to look for.
Geopartner looked it up and I was about 400 feet away.
Off we went and soon I saw the local fishing spot and a lot of rubbish in here.
Could do with a CITO in this one spot. I think we could fill a skip.
Finally found the cache and geopartner went first and then I had a go.
Signed the log and returned to GZ.
TNLNSL TFTC Thanks TeamPaulsen All good with this cache
A favourite from me

I am having a tour of the area today and knocking over a few caches with seirra1 and AussieScouter. We are staying at the Mega, which has been an awesome experience.
Today we visited a winery, hotel (for lunch) and Jamworks (we bought some yummy jam) and completed the Elementary series, some of the bike trail and many other local caches.
Found after a short walk. I really like the thought that went into this cache. It's something a little different and I'm awarding it with a favourite point. Thanks for the cache TeamPaulsen.

Found on the 4th and last day of our Qld Mega Odyssey in Stanthorpe. Kestral joined us for a Quality not Quantity tour to Tenterfield and back. A great day was had but all good things have to come to an end, and after adding 17 finds we sadly had to make a dash to the airport to catch the last flight to Adelaide.
Mr M stayed in the car to prepare for the next cache, but got impatient. What was taking so long. Apparently everyone else was having far too much fun with this cache. TFTC Paulsens. Favourite point from us.

Bit of a sad day today, being the last day of the Queensland 2015 Mega Event. Many cachers are already packing up and heading home. Not us though - we have another day to fill in, hoping to find as many of the unfound caches around the Stanthorpe area as we can. Couldn't leave this one behind, and glad we made the short detour to find it - great cache. Thanks for the smiley TeamPaulsen
Today was the fourth day of our camping adventure in Stanthorpe but my last day caching with Aussie M'n'M. We had a great day travelling to Tenterfield.

A great days caching and road trip at the Oz Mega 2015 with Taurus1955 and Misschief18. Lots of experiences and adventures we had lots of laughs along our travels some where I walked right to the cache and others where I needed to hunt around a bit. I have enjoyed the various challenges set by the CO's and the fact that I get to cache with friends and am outside in the great outdoors.
Thanks heaps TeamPaulsen for placing this cache .

This would have to be the biggest cache around this area, quick find and signed in the green little case as no other log book was there. TFTC
Found while we were out caching today while at the mega event for the weekend. This is a great area to explore. TFTC.
Headed out here to do a cache we heard was a bit different. Glad we did. Great to see a HUGE cache container compared to most others around here and a novel idea to access it. Seems some have written on the DO NOT WRITE ON THE DECOY BOOK instead of bothering to open the real cache. Gets a fave. Used this location to 'clean up' for the CITO event. 3 bags were full in no time. Had a nice walk around here. TFTC
TFTC found this morning while gathering Rubbish for the CITO very good gets a fav from me
In Qld from SA for the Mega event and having a great time, apologies for the generic logs, but very much appreciate the efforts of the CO. TFTC
After missing the turnoff a couple of times, we finally managed to stop here today and wondered down for the quick find, then off through the bush to seek out the source of the sound of falling water. Very pretty.

Last full day of the mega event and time for another pre-lunch caching run. With the weather in general a bit less wet today than it has been it was a bit easier as well. A bit of a generic log on the 28 I found this morning I'm afraid, but I know the Cache Owners will be getting buried in emails and unlikely to have a chance to read them all. Thanks TeamPaulsen for the cache.
I must be used to having a 4WD as I made it a drive by in the work Commodore.

Found as part of a very big caching day in conjunction with YorkshireKiwi83, VISTRA, Vamber, Alpenmilch80 signing the logs as CAVVY (to save space).
Shame about the weather but the caching was a whole lot of fun with adventures and trash talk along the way.
Thank you to all the cache owners that put these together for us to enjoy while at the OZ MEGA 2015, as NZer's we certainly did appreciate them.
So again thank you for the FUN of the hunt

Visiting QLD from Central Coast NSW, and attending the Stanthorpe MEGA EVENT for about a week. Camping at the showground, caching days done mainly with SpikeyMikey, meeting up with members of CCG, HAVOC, and others from all over Australia.
Many thanks to all responsible for a smooth operating event, my first Mega, and first visit to Stanthorpe. Plenty of reasons for a near future visit
Whilest it did rain and drizzle almost every day, I much preferred this over hot days, which is what I encounted on the Gold Coast return journey, as well as a repeated bout of coughing with the flu on the long drive home.
Great Puzzles, Power Trails, landscapes, History, Apples!, and company. Politeness and respect by all

Some more geocaching around the town. Signed those logs as ACDC (Alpenmilch80s, Cats&Dragons Geocaching). TFTC
My Garmin is being rather temperamental so not reading the description and therefore missed the turn. Parked beside the road not too dangerously and proceeded on foot to GZ. As I approached I could hear water happily tumbling down a creek and thought I might have to go fishing which I am absolutely no food at. Found the caxhe easily and just loved it. I am giving it a fav point it's just so appropriate TFTC Team Paulsen
Really enjoyed this cache! What a great idea. Thanks for the inspiring idea that makes caching worth the search.

We joined up with Pprass, Temingi and Squalid and spent the day exploring Stanthorpe and its surrounding area. So many wonderful caches have been placed showing us spots we wouldn't normally have travelled to. A great day spent geocaching with our friends from this side of the country. Thanks to all who provided these caches for us to find.
Found at 12:26 PM GAFF1 in the company of Squalid, Team Pathfinder and Temingi,.
We tried the brute force method and then Squalid took over and started to study the situation and came up with the answer. However we used a Leatherman to get it out [^]
Nice work on the hide.

Found by Mary & David, in company with Gonefishen07, Lazzal, Alansee, and Phetlern, The Coffees and Zobo04 (now signing as GLAMPCZ), at 0942. Our fourth day out and about around Stanthorpe, and we enjoyed more of the scenery, some wonderful caches and the company. We also made a start on the new Lab caches. Having fun with our group. The radio chatter within our little convoy was so funny we should have recorded it. Didn't use the suggested approach to retrieve the log, but we still managed to do it quickly. Our thanks to TeamPaulsen.

QLD Mega trip 2015 with Sol de Lune. On this almost 400km road trip we drove from Canberra to Stanthorpe caching in all the towns along the way with mostly great success. Around the Mega there were heaps of caches to be done including a few power trails. Despite the weather we got all of the planned caches done.
Day six was fairly gloomy and wet, but we started by heading up to the Bald Rock area, even though it turned out to be too wet to attempt the climb. Then it was back to the main road and trail caching for the rest of the way to Stanthorpe. Thanks.
