This cache took some time to find. We started where the GPS indicated and gradually expanded our search area out to about 15m radius. We then returned to where we started and took a much closer look at every nook and cranny. After a few minutes, we located the cache but 1t was 10m south of the published coordinates. The cache and contents were in good condition. Thanks doscrapbooking for the cache.
Enjoyed driving through the countryside with goinplaces2 and caching as we go. Had a successful day and signed each log found. Pleased there are so many caches to find in this area. TFTC.
Out for a country caching run with ilook4geo and enjoying the day. There was no problem in finding each of the target caches and all logs were signed. Thanks go to doscrapbooking for keeping this cache in play.
My find for today for my "Finds by found date" calendar All nice and dry Tftc
We bashed around the general location, as others obviously have, and tried lots of logs before we found right one. Hot and long grass made us very wary of snakes, but none seen by us here today.
33,572. Found during our Queensland Outback GeoMuster (QOGM) 2023 Longreach Adventure - a 33 day epic tour of Northern NSW and Outback Queensland finding many caches, attending great events and catching up with awesome Cachers along the way.Queensland Outback GeoMuster (QOGM) 2023 Longreach Adventure Day 29. Today we packed up, did our best to clean out Roma (I had plenty to find as when I came through here last year I only stopped for lunch and 1 cache), then continued East to Chinchilla. We still had 5 days and lots of caches to go on this trip. This was the next one on the list. Quickly found once at GZ. Signed as F65 and A33 as required. Replaced the cache as found, then we continued on our journey. Thanks to all the COs who put out these caches !!
QOGM 2023 Longreach Day 29. Traveling from Roma to Chinchilla via Miles. Fitzy_1965 and Albida33 are on our trip in early spring to Longreach. The journey home is well under way and today was a morning caching around Roma before heading east to get to Chinchilla and find an area of caches we have not been to recently. There were several caches along the way and even one old one that was an interesting walk in the searing sun. We had a quiet afternoon in town recharging for the last few days to get home. Thanks for the cache jpgordo44562.7 TNLNVisited: World Traveling Gold GC A#6 & 2012 Geocaching NSW A#224**Albida**
Heading to Moree after spending the night in Mitchell this was a good find. Thank you for placing and maintaining this cache for our enjoyment.
Icybeetas braved the long grass, snakes, and flies, to find this one, and brought back a dozen flies as souvenirs.
After having a dip in the artesian bath at Mitchell this morning, we headed off towards Chinchilla and collected a few smilies en route. TFTC jpgordo
It’s happening, it’s finally happening! Alyce and I are going places and grabbing caches while on our way to QOGM.
Our day started early in Caboolture South and with the car packed and a list of caches dialled in we were on our way. We made our way along the Dag’ Highway to Blackbutt and Yarraman then down the New England Highway grabbing a few caches in the vicinity than arriving at the Warrego and taking that all the way to Morven while stopping at several places in between. Unfortunately we had to leave it at that due to fading light and made our way to Augathella for the night.
What an adventure! The places you visit and the experiences you have is something else.
Thanks for bringing us here.

Well my trip up to QOGM has officially started and I’m taking the very indirect route up to outback QLD to get there.
So after cruising up the Hume to Sydney then the M1 and A1 up to Byron Bay with a few other roads in between as I have been cris crossing a bit so it is time to start heading west.
I have never been up this way before so it will be interesting to see what towns I come across in my travels.
So after spending a great night in the Dulacca Pub (no I didn’t win a meat tray) my next destination is Morven so I’m still heading West.
Continuing along the Warrego Hwy and stoping in at as many caches that I can.
There was plenty of parking here and I had the place to my self.
A nice easy find.
Thanks jpgordo TFTC.

We are now on our way to Longreach for the QOBM event next month. Today we headed off from Miles and onto Roma, where we will stay for the night. A great opportunity to grab some around the area.
Stopped off here and made this find after a short search.
Thanks jpgordo for placing this cache and doing the maintenance, so we can enjoy finding it.

Hello Goecachers - if you find this cache needs repairs - paper & Contaiiner I would be most grateful if you could do this please. The j in jpgordo had dementia and I find I am unable to do so at this time. Thank you and safe travels

Quick find in the rain. Needed to stop and clean the windscreen so this seemed like a good way to kill two birds with one stone. Thanks for the cache
This extended/long weekend across Anzac Day, it was an outback adventure to Charleville and Carnarvon Gorge. Departing Thursday afternoon, I stopped in Roma before continuing west through Mitchell and Morven and completing various puzzles and power trails. I then caught up with a small group to hike Carnarvon Gorge on Sunday and Monday, and then after having a final night in Roma, returned on Monday.
Today, it was time to head home from my weekend away from Roma to home. It was an opportunity to find a few remaining geocaches along the highway, and after visiting a few Chinchilla geocaches including the memorable cactoblastis monument [Mr Cole Snr, The Shanti & Prickly Pear](https://coord.info/GC8EW84), I opted to detour through Cecil Plains after going through Dalby, and then returned east via Toowoomba. Who would have thought that regular geocache stopping would add so much time to the normal 5.5 hr drive? With deteriorating weather in the late afternoon, it was time to then make the beeline home whilst getting a sneaky rain car wash along the way.
Four months ago when I was driving through Yuleba, a couple of geocaches were left, which turned out to be a timely stop today. I pulled into this rest area, and then walked the 30 odd metres to GZ, although I was initially focused on what I thought was a geotrail and a log in the distance, and thus overshot GZ checking various holes before backtracking. More hidey holes checked, and I think it was the process of elimination that the final hole contained the cache. The cache container and logbook were in good shape. Thanks jpgordo for the cache hide and ongoing maintenance.

After Karicka’s Moveable Feast Event in Roma this morning, the group has gone in different directions and I’m now in the back seat of Karicka’s very angry ute with him and Davinells up front…
A quick find by Davinells as I had walked past it…
Thanks jpgordo

Sometimes it’s good to be at the end, you can spot the cache as the others walk past it!

Found while camped at Judds Lagoon. Out for the afternoon to check the local sites and find some caches. This one was in the first place I looked…but of course didn’t see it then only found after I checked all the other possible hides then came back for a better look. TFTC
Travelling from chinchilla to reedy creek for work. Pulled over for my 15 min break and thought hey lets have a look. And woo noce easy one to find. Thanks for the search
Day 2 of my outback travels and the start of my Queensland Outback Geocaching Muster trip for 2022. While Triple Turmoil and I headed out to meet up with the others, it gave us time to grab a few caches along the way. We were aiming to be at the campsite at a reasonable hour so as we could set up in the daylight and see what is around at camp. This was all in readiness for our continuation from last year’s event and a very successful team collaboration with Willis007 and Jacs Team.
Today was a drive from Miles to Charleville, grabbing caches and adventure labs along the way. It was a fun day and we found all caches fairly easily. We signed the logs and replaced caches as found. Thanks for the hides and maintaining them

Two Tassie travellers out for ten weeks and having a short hop to Chinchilla from Roma today.
Stopping where we have assumed it will be possible whilst towing. This is the second today of a familiar CO's coverage in this part of QLD. A bit tentative stomping about in the long grass, 'cos we don't know the habits of the serpents in particular in this neck of the woods. All good though and I live to cache on another day. TFTC.

Today was just a short trip as we wanted to check out Judd's Lagoon. What a good excuse to stop at every cache along the way.
All caches were found easily thanks to the good coordinates and in good condition unless noted on each cache log.
Thanks to all the COs for placing and maintaining these caches. All logs were dated and signed.

Day 3 of a road trip to Townsville to with LuckyL10n and today we drove from Surat through Roma, Muckadilla, Wallumbilla, Taroom, Theodore, Eidsvold and Mundubbera were we finished for the day.
Lots of different caches found, all without any major issues. We dodge the floodwaters around Surat although the bridge is certainly under threat of going under in the next few days.
Thanks to all caches owners. Most logs were signed SDL / L Lion.

#13572 - 12:20:00 PM; Day three of the Townsville Mega adventure with Sol de lune and after spending the night in Surat, set out to collect the local caches before heading further afield. It would be a long day on the road as we added counties to our caching maps. The many places visited included Roma, Muckadilla, Wallumbilla, Jackson, Taroom, Theodore and Eidsvold and on to Mundubbera for the night. All caches were found in good order unless otherwise noted in the logs. All logs were signed L.L10n and Sdl or vice versa. Apologies for the largely generic logs [:o)] TFTC jpgordo
Continuing my journey west, I came to this cache. I made my way through what is currently head high grass to GZ. There, a quick find was made and the log signed. TFTC

This was our 2nd go at this cache. The first time we were wearing thongs and the long grass made us think twice! We remembered this moment today as we picked our way through a worn path - wearing sandals!

Homeward bound after attending the awesome QOGM2021 and we are caching on our way to Brisbane from an overnight stay in Roma. Travelling with TMZ59 and Imbunda.
Am always weary of snakes as they are not my favourite creature to meet in the bush. Luckily none were sighted but found the cache okay.

Last day in town. Time to make the trip home. Thoroughly enjoyed our time out west. Already started planning the next trip!
Maudlin Bridge is an extension of Chrononhotonthologos Street, Ankh, to Morpork just upstream from the Isle of Gods. Like the Bridge of Size and the Wood Bridge it lacks the superstructure of shops and housing that line most of the city bridges.
Today was day 8 of 9 long days of travelling and caching for us. Long, but fun. This was the Roma to Chinchilla leg of our trip. Lots of grass to walk through. Wouldn't want to be here in snake season so glad we made this a July trip.
Looking for something to fill in time whilst not studying, it was suggested that I finally get around to logging THOSE caches long found but never logged. Some even have funny stories of being visited not only once or twice, but a few even have had a third or fourth visit before realising I've been there done that. The date is as near to the correct day the cache was found. So sorry for the generic and late log.JABs.
Managed to find at night on our way home and took the TB will drop off soon TFTC
Dropped a TB and picked up a TB. We’re slowly heading back to Brisbane after a weekend in Roma and Mitchell for the Roma Easter Festival. I wore incorrect footwear for this hunt. Despite reading previous logs, I still wore thongs. TFTC. Great excuse to stretch the legs
A beautiful place, yet the terrain is not really easy. The parrots are gorgeous, however, the local gang of mosquitoes is unbearable. They're enormous and ravenous. Yes, beware of snakes, but we didn't find any.
We took out the trackable and put another one there.

Will need appropriate footwear, thongs probably not the best idea. Nice trail in the grass left by former finders I would imagine. Good find. TFTC.
This one took slightly longer than expected as it had been nicely camo'ed. A relaxing spot with one muggle who left right as we pulled up. TFTC

After having a fun filled and very hectic time finding caches and catching up with friends at the Queensland Outback Geo Muster 2019 we are now taking a bit more leisurely trip home but also grabbing the occasional cache.
This was the twelfth for the day.
We followed the instructions and turned into Yuleba/Taroom road, parked and were happy to see that no one else was making use of this area today and we took off towards gz with the hot northerly wind still blowing as it has been all day. fortunately the cache was a nice quick find and the log book now contains our name. It would be so nice here when it was green not as dry as it is today.
Thanks once more jpgordo for the cache.
