Having a small amount of time to kill before meeting up with friends, I headed here. Isn't geocaching just perfect for filling in time? With it being a very fine day, I had concerns about muggles being around but it turned out that I had the place to myself.
#17369. All quiet at GZ (we walked passed a mums + toddlers group on the way to GZ, but they weren't close by). Quick find in a nice area. TFTC.
Found with StreetWalker on a 4 day long weekend in Tauranga.
Day 1 Christchurch to Tauranga. We picked up the rental then headed west towards Otumoetai and Matua.
On a weekday, there weren't many muggles around so a quick find, a few minutes to enjoy the view and off to the next cache. TFTC.

Down to Tauranga today with a mate for work, lunch with my beautiful niece and a little time to kill. Swing by to get a little cache. Last time we were here we were on a cruise. TFTC
Cache replaced this morning - still a magnetic nano, so it's not very big - - - happy geocaching everyone.

Visited this afternoon to check on the cache, unfortunately we couldn't as people were sitting on the seat enjoying the view over the harbour to the Mount. Have decided to disable the cache, until we can check on it again.
Found the log on the ground and missing the actual cache. Will try find cache and put back together
#603. Mr Northwood took one of the junior Northwoods to Mount Maunganui for a sports tournament and some geocaching. Tauranga and the Mount are where Northwood senior grew up.
Spent time down here as a youngster. Found the cache but could not get the top off! Sent CO a photo as a log. TFTH.

I'm from Switzerland and spend 4 months in New Zealand on vacation. Found this cache after a few minutes search, thanks.
Spending the night nearby on our way back home to Gisborne. Out for the evening collecting as many smileys as possible.

Had a great morning doing TNXpro tree climb so decided to head along here this afternoon on a bike ride. Nice day but pretty windy. No problems here. Nice spot. Tftc

Exploring this special place, amazing views from here. I don't think I have been to this part of the Bay before. A few kite surfers are out in the water, too busy focusing on the waves/wind, than what I am up too!
So I have a stretch, take a seat, and soon have the cache in hand. Wiggled the log from the nanos grasp, and it was soon signed.

Thanks for the replacement Lion Fish! We decided to brave the raindrops and find the cache so we could replace our recent DNF... and 'The Mr' was very happy to say he'd found it! TFTC
Checked on cache this afternoon - gone missing (again!). Replaced @ 4.05pm (approx.).
I want to say this one was nice and easy... but we just couldn't find it. Got to GZ no problem and we knew we were in the right place thanks to photos and the plaque. Done a few caches like this and had a good idea what we might be looking for... but came up empty handed. Will put this one on my watchlist.
Nice easy find while sitting looking out over the water to the lights of the Mount while freedom camping in the park. TFTC.
It was a relatively quiet weekday. The fencing in front of GZ helped deter sitees. It was in the second place I looked. Greetings from Auckland. Forgot to bring a pen on my travels, so happy to price a picture of the cache if needed. TFTC
Pretty sure we found the right spot but no log unless of course we are in completely wrong place, lol!
No longer possible to drive right up to the cache, but we parked and walked a short distance. Quick find upon arrival, thanks for the placement at a lovely view

3099 I had come over a while back and had to leave without seeing Harold & Mary. I had not noticed that they may have been on holiday at that time. I saw that they had returned so I was back today to find and enjoy the Autumn afternoon. Nice and quiet at GZ so while I was able to grab the cache, sign it and return it while enjoying the Postcard views. I the sat and enjoyed it some more before returning to the car. Thanks for the placement.
Out finding some local caches with the grandchildren while visiting from up north. Hot day today. Lovely spot to just sit and watch....bit of activity today, cruise ship in and a few leisure boats around. Thanks for the cache.
