Busy road during the week had to use stealth with this one. Log is damp and may not last much longer, keeps falling out, was on ground when I arrived and replaced where it should go.

Great spot. Open to the weather now though... may need maintenance. Geo Man spotted it before Geo Mum and Geo kidd lol
This one took us a while to find ....very good hiding spot ....definitely needed my trusty Leatherman to retrieve the log.
Maintenance is requires though.... the lid is completely broken
Thank you

Thank you
Had some help from the neighbors trying to find this one. Had a look everywhere and without their help we wouldn't have found it.
Thank you CO for the cache
P.S. Log requires replacement soon as only a few entries left.

Visiting for nationals comp and stating nearby. We kept meaning to stop and pick this one up every time we passed, after 5 days, today is the day. Of course it felt like the hottest day and the busiest, but we discretely took a rest to retrieve and sign and replace. The container appears to be broken, however it makes a handy implement to slot the log back into its hidey hole. Log in good order. Clever hide. Tftc and hello from Geelong in Victoria.
Tricky spot though just followed our nose. Ten minutes to find. Cap is broken but still does the job. Couldn't extract but tftc.
Quick find, lid looking a little worse for wear... Log signed and replaced. Tftc
Looked for ages. No muggles neighbour to help me unfortunately. Will have to try this tricky one when I'm back in QLD.
Nice hide. The hint really helps if you follow it literally!
The top of the cache has snapped off but it still fits on top, but may need some maintenance in the future

A nice quick find on my way to Bunnings today. I got to GZ and checked out the satellite image.. well, only a couple of places it could be.
a bit of a casual search with my fingers and i felt something out of place. BAM, thats the one. no tweezers with me, but the car key did the job. signed, and replaced, off i went to the hardware store for a sausage and onion on bread.
cheers ash and shaun for another cache in this area, much obliged.

Reasonably quick find, couldn't sign log as I didn't have my tweezers - so bring some tweezers for this log. Same container as "I'm Stumped". Nice sneaky hide. TFTC.
Hmmm. More like look under and up! We were out today with Team Benders and E(: looking for some caches in the Varsity Lakes area after a catch up event nearby. We were feeling a little frustrated after a DNF by the same CO at the other enc of this road. The group was split up, and Mrs RoddyC and I were at "our" GZ when a muggle from across the road came over and suggested where to look before we had much of a chance to say 'hi'! So we had our hands on the cache - right next to where Mrs RoddyC was feeling, anyway. Friendly muggle says she sees people looking here for ages - guess she feels sorry for them so pops over to 'lend a hand'.
The original log book was all scrunched up and unreadable and impossible to replace without further damage so we put another one in to save further damage to the already damaged lid.
Found at 2.55pm on 24th October 2015. TFTC.

Was following the hint with this one and as of consequence we were looking in things above our head, when we were called over as Mrs RoddyC was looking in a different area and had found the cache.
Thank you to the neighbouring muggle who helped us out.

For some reason there is a lot of gps bounce in this area. I read the hint and started searching accordingly. There are only a limited number of places for it to be and it didn't take me too long to find it.
Very clever, a favourite point from me.

Hey CO. Please remove old logs unsure if you like to keep them or not. Added new log but logs are very tight in cache now.

Don't bother with the lactic tops on the green fence - they have seeming been loosened by lots of cachers but not there. I needed the hint. TFTC.
Lucky I had kaedun with me, who spotted this and retrieved it Thanks for this genius hide!
Up from Canberra and found with Rapidlywild on a two week geomission around the Gold Coast and, of course, for the MEGA
It was the last day of caching on the Gold Coast for us
Easy find for us here
Thanks for the hide, ash&shaun1003

Last full day of caching on the Gold Coast. Today we were not as successful as yesterday only accumulating 20 finds. We had alot of issues with coordinates today and seems there were alot of DNF's in the area we were caching.
This one was spotted by specimenX rather quickly.
Thanks ash&shaun1003 for placing this cache for us to make a find on

Wow, that was one that could have easily gone unnoticed if it wasn't for some substantial persistence on my part. Glad to find this one eventually. Tftc
Was desperately waiting for the promised neighbour to appear and put me out of my misery but alas she was out this Easter Monday so a DNF for me
I was on the GC and had some free time to get a few caches. I had picked out a list of possible caches and skipping ones which appeared to be missing.
This was No 10 of 27 finds for the day.
I spent 15 minutes searching everything twice and then returned to the car and made a PAF call and was directed to a spot which I had not searched. That was very sneaky.
TFTC.

The cache container is starting to deteriorate. The lid now comes away from the container. It is though, for now, still ok.

FOUND IT .. after going for a stroll into the park looking for another one .. thanks ash&shaun1003 fairly early in the AM...
A great day of caching with Swellerfungus. Our original plan for the day had involved climbing a hill or two but with the weather looking unfavourable we tossed about a few ideas and initially agreed on a trip to the Gold Coast to grab some caches to fulfill various Jasmer, DT and old cache requirements as well as picking up some solved puzzle caches. The morning started at 5am in rainy conditions but by the time we hit the coast the weather had turned lovely and we both wished we'd brought our swimmers. As we picked up a few caches we realised they all seemed to be different DT combinations and our thoughts turned to chasing the 25 unique DT challenge. So totally unplanned and unscripted we started the countdown required, steadily progressing through the grid, slowed up every now and then by the odd DNF. After 14 and a half hours we had completed our 25 different DTs and picked up some great caches along the way.
I think it was on the way to this cache that we came to our decision to chase down the 25 unique DT challenge. Therefore every single find would be vital today. A tempting D rating on offer so how could we refuse. We hunted. We looked. We pondered. We scratched our bottoms in earnest contemplation. Still we failed to find the cache. We read clues. We read logs. We hoped the helpful neighbour would make an appearance to put us out of our misery, all to no avail. As patience was running thin I managed to find the tricky hide. A challenge indeed for us today. TFTC.

A long weekend offers a great opportunity to get out and about for some caching. The weather however had other ideas...or so it seemed. With a rain cloud over proceedings Seffnjarah opted to head out to collect some outstanding solved puzzles (some unsolved by me until the night before!), some challenge caches, some 'oldest 100 in QLD' caches, some Jasmer filling caches, some higher D/T caches, and ultimately some interesting caches. Shortly after starting we realised that our choices had given us a great start for the 25 Different D/T ratings in a day challenge (GC5C5PB). In all a fun and challenging day around the 'Dark Side' of Brisbane and the Gold Coast.
Our first on the Coast part of the run today, and this tricky little hide was a cracker. It was definitely not in the spot I thought it was. With the recent rain the water was flowing, and we toyed with the idea that it may have washed away! No.. SNJ put his hand on it. Very clever.
Thanks A&S, well played.

We have returned to find this geocache! Didn't take too long and was surprised we didn't see it the previous time. TH4!
Cleaning up some caches around the parents home with Tallen70.
Tallen70 had planned to grab this one a while ago but there had been construction crew around so didn't get to search. After a DNF, we decided to extend our walk to get this one. We got there and had a search, my brother trying to summon IT who he was certain was hiding in the drain pipes.... Thankfully he wasn't.
Found a few likely spots but came up empty handed. Took a seat and read through some logs. Tried a few different things and finally put my hand on it! Nice tricky hide! TFTC!

Out and about with beach.bub23, her geobf and my geoson and geodog, doing some local caches that have been on my "to do" list for a while. This one has been frustrating because every time I've wanted to stop for a find, there have been workmen or muggles nearby. Took us a while to locate it but finally had this sneaky little sucker in hand. TFTC. Tallen70.
Today teamdfl and I are attempting Fangsoki's Challenge Cache, GC5C5PB "The Unique Difficulty/Terrain Challenge (QLD)". As per the Description, we needed to "find AT LEAST 25 caches in ONE SINGLE DAY - each with a UNIQUE Difficulty / Terrain Combination."
This is my D3.5/T1.5 cache. We started searching where the GPSr wanted us, but couldn't spot the hide, so widened the search area a bit. Then poor teamdfl got bitten by 3 green ants all on one pinky for her troubles, so wasn't a happy camper More searching but no find, so we were just about to give up when a lady over the road strode across to us asking if we wanted help [^] Seems she knows all about the cache and pointed out the hide to us. I think she rather enjoyed it! It's a sneaky hide! TFTC, ash&shaun1003.

And we are off! Out with IolantheK today on a serious mission. We need to find 25 caches with different Difficulty/Terrain ratings. A reasonalble challenge for any cacher, but more so when we have over 9000 finds between us. We need to travel much further afield to find caches neither of us have done.
This was another cache that I had a DNF on preiously, so I was hoping IolantheK would be able to find it.
The co-ordinates are pretty good, it is just well hidden. We read the previous logs, but they did not help much. We were there for a while and were even hoping that the friendly neighbour would come out, but no such luck.
I had decided to check a certain spot and managed to get in amongst some green ants . I managed to retreat with only half a dozen bites. Just then the neighbour came out and put us out of our misery. Don't think we would have got it without her help.
Nice hide
Find #12 of 25.

#809 Geowife had the eagle eyes and quickly had this one in hand. Signed off with"cg" and thanks to ash&shaun1003 for the heads-up on a some of their caches.
Ha ha! Had spent ages looking for this one with Aussie Liahona. Didn't want to be too obvious so was surprised when a muggle neighbour approached me. She had promised herself the next time she saw a person sitting here she would ask them " what is it about this place?". Without my even asking her she said "it's hidden ------". And so it was. She got a geo-tutorial from me.
Having found a few others by the CO, I had a clue as to what to look for here, but it still took a while to find this sneaky one!!!
Thanks ash&shaun1003

I have a Saturday afternoon to go caching after a morning at work.
So I headed to this area where I could find a few caches quickly.
Continuing up the road to this one ... the GPSr took me straight to this one.
Thanks for the cache.

Couldn't find cache. Cable tie on fence but not attached to anything. Searched fence, log and all around but couldn't find cache
Sneaky hide. Took a while to extract the log without an extraction tool, cache was easily located though

"Cleaning up" the caches near our house on this chilly Sunday evening. Three searches, but only two finds. Today's geocaching group consisted of: Geo Dad, Geo son (youngest), and Geo son (oldest) - who waited in the car! What we have began to notice consitently is the growing frequency of small/micro/nano caches. What happened to large caches filled with room for heaps of goods and other fun items? We to are responsible for placing micro/small caches as they are (a) cheap, (b) easy to find at shops, and (c) easy to hide. We would love for there to be more large caches as we believe they are what geocaching is all about (finding craftily hidden containers in interesting locations). Anyway, here's the log:
Our DNF for today. Looked for a long time, using the "GZ photo". Believe it was involved with either the metal fence or wooden post/seat closest to the fence. Searched "up and down" our two options with no success. Maybe next time

We are dog sitting near-by and saw some new caches since we were last here.
This one was quite tricky, expecially since there were so many muggles out and about. Took a couple of visits, but eventually got it!

Visiting from Newcastle, staying at Kingscliff, joined by my brother from Nerang for some caching in the area, TFTC ash&shaun1003!!
Checked all the obvious spots without any luck then read the hint again.
Surely you couldn't get a cache in there.
Yep
Thanks

No luck here either. I could not really figure out the clue, so that was no help. rather a conspicuous area to be lurking too. There were a few places I was not willing to go, so maybe it was there.
Had a quick look, the water was up after the recent storm and we kept getting funny looks from a passing pedestrian. Will be back another day. TFTH
Out and about this morning picking up the newly published caches in the area. After a DNF on #1, this one looked like it was going to be as well. With so much traffic and the odd muggle walking by I was scanning the area before making any real moves. I guess the gps took it's time to settle as I had chosen a few locations but after a bit of a look it turned up nothing. So I took a seat nearby and waited for it to do it's thing. I checked the hint and thought mmm, what if I... Ah ha got you.
Clever hide A&S, love it. TFTC

Yay number 8 for us. 3rd tonight. We just met Nes at Bluemoon. She said it is very rare to meet people at a cache, especially to meet the person who is in the group who put it there. She is with us here too as I write this. Good on you for your efforts gang.
This was a good one i made my brother go into the drain to look for it, i left the first time i looked but when i came back i found it.
We are glad we could claim our smilie on this cache today. Last time we were hoping to find it the RBT unit was parked across the road. It rather limited our opportunity to search so we had to leave and come back today. Found the cheeky hide today thankfully. No RBT's and the muggle vehicles had some nice large gaps. [^][^]
A top day out and about caching with Couchmen. Around 30 caches found, mainly new stuff that had came out in the last week. Two puzzle caches and a multi in the bunch as well. A few short walks undertaken, and a few really good hides in the bunch as well. Thanks to all cache owners for hiding and maintaining there caches.

A very neat hide, tricky stuff. Fav given. Watch out for muggles though. TFTC.

I was out with Blacklegend today and even though we had started later we were both looking forward to a big day.
We saw the difficulty rating and knew we were in for a search.
We tried all the locations that could have possibly hidden a cache safely and found nothing!!
Then BL had an idea so we took a different tack in our search and bingo I touched something which gave me real hope.
Upon inspection I was looking at the well hidden container and using an extraction tool I had the log in hand.
Thanks Ash & Shaun TFTC SL And spot on with the difficulty rating!!

I was a little concerned reading some previous DNF logs from highly experienced cachers. But arriving at GZ and further reading the reasons behind the DNF's I hoped I stood a better chance considering the lack of Mr Plods or party animals in the area today. Luck was on my side and the cache now has another name on its log. TFTC. SL.
There was a muggle party in a back yard next to GZ.. at least half the party stopped what they were doing to look at what myself and caching buddy were doing. We stayed for about 10 minutes but were unable to search. We'll be back !!
Missed this one first time, but went straight to it this time as I'M starting to work out a trend.TFTC.
Thorough look with Aussie Liahona but came up empty handed. Also the presence of RBT vehicle and personnel nearby was somewhat inhibiting. Another time.
