This cache hasn't been found for over a year, and the CO has not responded to 2 'needs maintenance' logs.
It was only after we had begun our fruitless search did we then realise all the previous DNFs...We had a thorough search anyway, as we have occasionally found ones missed by others, but we're pretty sure this has been muggled. Sneaky Squirrels
Coming to this area with high hopes. We found things like sharps containers for drug needles, lots of rubbish, a lot of debris from the recent rains, a pot plant screwed to the tree, some nail polish, reading glasses just to name a few, not sure if some of this stuff is from the cache that has been destroyed, or if this is just a messy area that needs to be checked and updated by the CO.
I tried again to find this one (attempt number 3) and with a friend for an extra pair of eyes but no luck again. There were lots of beer bottles and sharps boxes in the bushes, hope it's not been muggled.
Couldn't find this one after a quick search at a busy time of day. Saw a spoonbill foraging in the creek though so that was a bonus!
A late night stop off here, I realised I still needed a cache for the day. The coordinates led me straight to something that looked like it could conceal a cache, and there it was. The container had a bunch of water in it, which I drained out. The logbook was a little damp, but not much i could do about it, as it was a little drizzly when i found it, and no sunshine at this hour, but still in fair enough condition that I could leave my trail name.
I rescued the trackable jeep, as i arrived in a jeep, so myself and the jeep got inside my geo-jeep and hit the road. My thanks to ash and shaun for this cache.

Out with geofriends at an Event Geodogs & Animal Lovers 4th Catch Up Event.
Headed out with some new cachers who were keen to make their first finds.
We stood on the sidelines and gave encouragement to the new cachers.
After the cache was found we added our name to the log.
TNLNSL TFTC Thanks ash&shaun1003 All good with this cache

A group of geocachers met at the nearby dog enclosures for an event, and of course any nearby caches have to be conquered. It's a great feeling watching newbies find a cache. This one wasn't quite as I expected as "spikey" looked quite dead! Nonetheless, E(: found it fairly quickly and we all signed and replaced. Visited Radnoski's recently placed TB but no one wanted to take it today.
Found at 2.10pm on 24th October 2015. TFTC.

As previous finder said gps is all over the place here, I'm actually having the same problem all over this area.
I gave up on the gps and started looking for somewhere that fitted the hint. I had a lot of trouble finding something spikey, I was looking for completely the wrong thing but I did eventually find the cache.

Looked here on our last visit but this time we found it easily which is good cos we needed it for our "two caches in two different countries on the same day" challenge.
Up from Canberra and found with Rapidlywild on a two week geomission around the Gold Coast and, of course, for the MEGA
It was the last day of caching on the Gold Coast for us
Quick find for us here.
Thanks for the hide, ash&shaun1003

Last full day of caching on the Gold Coast. Today we were not as successful as yesterday only accumulating 20 finds. We had alot of issues with coordinates today and seems there were alot of DNF's in the area we were caching.
Another quick find, although coordinates were once again out.
Thanks ash&shaun1003 for placing this cache for us to make a find on

The instructions on how to find certainly came in handy. Found with no problems at all. Tftc
I had passed the cache on the way into the park to get the caches in there and there was a car parked on the left.
As I drove out that vehicle had gone but there was another one parked closer to the cache location.
Quietly, I headed to where the GPS was pointing. I passed the car and soon spotted a likely hiding spot and, luckily, the cache was hidden there.
A quick sign of the log and I was out of there as soon as I could.
TFTC.

Liked it and the hint was very clever! Here from the UK visiting family and introducing them to the game.
Ended up doing this one at night ,reason been..a very protective Pew Wee with 2 chicks in there nest.grabbed TB ,Left Geocoin plus duck, and dog ... thanks ash&shaun1003
Meeting friends for some lunch and drinks at their place and after being mocked for always being that lil bit late.. I confessed n let them all in on the addiction that is geocaching!! N my reason behind running late is me sussing out the caches in the area haha intrigued they came on a hunt only just around the corner .. And we found this cache hiding nicely.. And as predicted are all now also addicted! TFTC !
Don't go into the ladies garden!! That's called trespassing kids!!

Cleaning up some caches around the parents home with Tallen70.
Tallen70 and the brother had already found this one so they were happy to sit back and watch us search! We had a poke around but the hint lead us straight to it! Co-ords are a little off but the hint is perfect! TFTC!

#803 With 2 DNF's and 1 so far this arvo, it was good to go straight in and have the cache in hand in seconds. Thanks for the cache here ash&shaun1003.
I have a Saturday afternoon to go caching after a morning at work.
So I headed to this area where I could find a few caches quickly.
Another bit of a search before going to hint which put about 8m away.
Thanks for the cache.

Co ords are now a little out but we have updated the clue which should help you if you get stuck
A bit harder to find due to GPS not being spot on but the boy eventually found this one. TTC. TNLN. Tallen70 and son.
Visiting from Newcastle, staying at Kingscliff, joined by my brother from Nerang for some caching in the area, TFTC ash&shaun1003!!
Replaced the container to help ash&shaun out. Moved about 8m W of original location. Look for a green spike and this is your search area. Good luck.
Tried to find this awhile ago with kathrynm and we failed. But came back with some other friends and having the extra set of eyes really helped. I walked over it and around that many times I felt so blonde lol tftc
Once again my GPS had GZ a reasonable distance form where I think the cache should have been. Well I think I was looking in the right place. There was only one lace that seemed to match the clue. Had a bit of a fossick around, but no luck.
Tried to find this for a good half hour and couldn't find it. But did find a giant knight statue lol
Well this one took longer then it should have. On approach I noticed the two windows on the nearby house looking down on GZ. I'm not a real fan of hides near windows that you can't really see into, you never know if anyone is watching you. Which could one day compromise the cache. Well I did my best to keep an eye on the window and search at the same time so I guess thats why I over looked it on the first pass. With the cache in hand I headed down the lane a bit more to add my name. Replaced as found and headed to #3.
Thanks again guys.
Thanks again guys.
I had a bit of trouble with this one, I looked for this one yesterday but could not find it, but today my mum found it in its spot.
A top day out and about caching with Couchmen. Around 30 caches found, mainly new stuff that had came out in the last week. Two puzzle caches and a multi in the bunch as well. A few short walks undertaken, and a few really good hides in the bunch as well. Thanks to all cache owners for hiding and maintaining there caches.

This was a pretty quick grab, the quickest of the four Mattocks caches. TFTC.

I was out with Blacklegend today and even though we had started later we were both looking forward to a big day.
We overshot this one too and walked back, we couldn't have all of them being park and now could we LOL.
We got the hint as soon as we arrived at GZ, but which part?
We searched around for a bit then I picked one spot that stood out and checked it out and jackpot I had the prize.
Thanks Ash & Shaun TFTC SL
